Loved all the awesome clothes and shoes. Lots of great finds. Great prices. The sales people don’t bug you which is a plus in my view.

Stopped in while out and about in The Loop. Large selection of vintage clothing and accessories. Not really a place that I would say has my selections, but overall a cool place.

Saint Louis lack vintage shops! So when this store open I was please to see a nice vintage store at the del mar area. I do appreciate vintage clothes and they deliver. I been shopping at this store since it opens. From time to time I do go inside and for the most part I do find things that are unique compare to other vintage store. 1. It’s very clean and well organize. 2. You don’t get that smelly odor that u get from other vintage store.3 her merchandise is clean she laundry the items before she puts it on display, the reason I know this well she has a washer in the store. Other clothes are dry clean so it gives her an advantage to other store. I read some of the review most of u are whining about her price, however it worth it plus the location is pricey, I know cause many of her vintage competitor has mentioned to me that they would love to move to del mar loop but they can’t afford the rent. I don’t think her price is high at all, I travel for a living and believe me it’s way cheaper than LA or New York. I bought many things in this store and I do belief that u get what u pay for. I do think that the ladies merchandise is way better than the men’s but as long as she carries men’s I will be back. I also notice that the store decoration has become very chic, oh before I forget staff are very helpful plus if u like what’s on the mannequin they are willing to take it off at the mannequin and let u try the clothes, most vintage store dont do that. The dressing room is very roomy and they do live u alone and if u need help just ask they will help u. I love the store and I also notice she put more decoration inside! I consider this vintage store one of my favorite among others I visited all over the US.

Being an avid vintage shopper, I tend to stay away from this store. It is waaaay over-priced for what the products are. They sell old t-shirts for around $ 30, and they aren’t even vintage! Plus, apparently the owner at the store will shop at a similar store down the street(Avalon Exchange) and then turn around, jack up the price, and sell it in her store! The main thing it has going is that it is in a convenient location, so if you are willing to pay for convenience this is the store for you.

I walked into this store thinking that it would be like most reused clothing stores that I’ve been too, but man was I wrong. This store definitely have timeless garments, especially true vintage ones. Most clothes look like they were taken from my mother’s closet, which is good in a way, because my mother has good taste in clothing. Everything is true vintage, not new vintage like other used clothed stores. So you will find things from the 80’s and 90’s and maybe even 70’s. The store is well organized and very clean. Relaxing music and cute magazine clips on some of the walls. Personally not my style of clothing, but was still an interesting shopping experience.

Stopped in here the other day while on a quest for a white dress for an upcoming event. I’d seen TAG booths at events before but had never ventured into the store… Received a very friendly greeting from what appeared to be either the owner or the shop managers. They were chatting away and let me do my thing, which was appreciated. I’m not a big fan of shopping while someone watches my every move. If I did have a question or want to try something on, I’m pretty sure these ladies would have been more than helpful. As most other reviews have indicated, prices here are kind of ridiculous. Yes, the clothes are clean and well organized, but the pieces aren’t terribly exciting or unique. The average shopper could find similar items while browsing a decent Goodwill. Granted, they don’t smell like mothballs or have strange stains on them like they would at Goodwill, but you get what you pay for either way. I didn’t end up finding anything that really piqued my interest, but it was nice to stop by and see what TAG is all about. If someone I knew wanted to go on a vintage shop tour in St. Louis, they’d definitely be on the list of places to check out!

I walk into every store/shop/boutique associated with«vintage» ready to encounter my true love. Not so much the case here. The name«Timeless Authentic Garments» is catchy and cute but evokes a different experience than what I encountered here. I have said in prior reviews, but will repeat, I am a life-long vintage-aholic and have very discerning tastes, views and standards for what qualifies as vintage or in this case, «timeless.» I am a purist about these things and consider«vintage» or «timeless» something with elegance and grace, not gauche, loud or tacky – basically anything early 1960s(a la Mad Men) or before. It is rare I enter any establishment marketing vintage clothing that I am not compelled to try on at least one item, but alas, here I was not. However, if you are into the 60s-70s-80s vibe, I would think you’d enjoy surfing the racks here. The space is clean and easy to figure out, and if the 60s-70s-80s is your bag, it is worth a stop. I did think the handbags and other items were fairly pricey(especially considering you can still find tons of stuff like this on ebay and in the thrift shops). I’m no economist, but it’s supply and demand, baby. And there is still ample supply to be had at lower prices. The staff person was friendly. The tags are really cute, the idea is cute; and even though it isn’t my cup of tea, I can even appreciate the industrial displays. It was all well thought out and executed. Unfortunately, It’s all concept, no substance for this vintage purist.

I agree that this store is overpriced; similar items were selling for less than half as much at Avalon down the road. However, the inventory here is more carefully curated(if you’re looking for vintage) — it has very few contemporary items, which is what Avalon primarily sells. The offerings were solid, in very good condition, and very well organized(by type, size, color, etc.). Not amazing, but solid. IMHO, vintage stores with a manageable inventory like this should have more detailed info on size tags(bust/waist/hip size, length/inseam, etc.) The staff(mother and daughter!) were very nice, and because I was buying multiple items, I successfully bargained for a reasonable discount. Good, healthy business sense — keep the inventory moving, make the customer happy.

As expected by the location, the vintage garments here are overpriced. The store is a little sparse and oddly stocked. If I went in during the dead of winter, I might be tempted to buy a sweater or cardigan. They have a ton of either in really good condition. But, I can’t really justify buying an overpriced piece of clothing that is going to make me overheat if I put it on. It really is a good idea to stock for the season. I wonder where they get their stock, which is for the most part, in pretty good condition. They seem to have too much of one thing: the sweaters, a ridiculous number of Members Only jackets, and some ill-fitting Lee jeans. Maybe they’ll figure it out eventually and the store. As for décor, the store is bright white, the music was bad(and by bad, I mean Dave Matthews), and the art on the walls was pretty tacky. I’ll probably stop in again in the fall and give them another shot.

A small«second hand» boutique featuring brand name vintage pieces, Timeless Authentic Garments is more than pricey. Though stylish the vintage tees and dresses are extremely over valued. Adorning bright walls and lighting to match, the space is quite attractive. Always greeted with a friendly«hello» T.A.G. is a great place to browse and observe classic styling tips. If you must splurge I suggest taking a look at the ultra chic jewelry.

T.A.G. is trying to bring a new experience to the Fashion and Art conscious of our great city. I’m quite happy about this! They have some really nice pieces of vintage designer clothing in their shop, but I’d like to see their vision further fulfilled by more mannequins or at least more pairings so that one can see an outfit, grab it and run rather than hunting. Sometimes a person just needs a perfect outfit for a party that is in an hour. I believe that the more creative they are with their merchandising, the more creative the clientle will become and therefore more money will be spent. They have Of course, hunting and creating a one of a kind outfit is huge fun, and so I don’t really mind the current system of everything being separated in clothing type [i.e. jackets, jeans, etc]. The prices will scare the life out of you until you read the label and realize you are buying vintage designer clothing rather than just vintage clothing. The prices are fine once you understand that.
