I have been eating here for years, until now. The last 2 months it seems like, It takes forever to get food at drive through. I have waited in line over 15 minutes, Many times, With only 3 cars ahead of me. Now they are reheating old sliders in MICROWAVE, I burned my thumb on the soggy lava hot slider, trying to get it out of the box, it was jammed into. The burger was so hot, I had to set it on my leg, on my pants, after a nano second, it was burning my leg, I had to pick it up and drop it into the box. All 6 sliders were gooey, jammed into box, and hot as lava. I returned everything, got a refund, I wont be back.

Unilocal says I checked into White Castle at 2am last night. I’m sure it was grand.

White Castle is what it is… All night drive thru, cheap mini sandwiches and other fast food mini-sized meals including the famous«belly bomber»(steamed sliders that move through you faster than fire), Many of the sandwiches have dehydrated cabbage and other processed products that pack flavor, but usually result in bloating, burping, and other things a body does to get rid of things that shouldn’t be ingested. That said, I can be a glutton for punishment after a night of drinking and entering a party with a 12 pack of beer and a «Crave Case»(30 pack of White Castle sliders) can make for a sudden burst of popularity. This location seems to only be busy in the drive thru late at night. The parking lot used to be full, but lately it looks dead. It will probably always be popular with the late night crowd.

I’ve never had a problem with this particular White Castle. I only tend to go there at 4 – 6 in the morning. Close to my house and is easily the best place to get fast food at that time night. =)

First off, as a natural born and raised St. Louis native, White Castles have been a part of my life since I was a wee lad, I have eaten all my life, and take them for what they are, cheap burgers. they are made to take care of an appetite, and a craving, because most people know, the only time you eat WC is when you are craving them, otherwise leave them alone and stay away! White castles taste the same now as they did when i was a teenager, only thing that has changed is the frequency of how often I eat them, and the quantity I consume, however WC is a St. Louis thing, and that I’m thankful for…

As a member of the Midwest locals association, I felt like I needed to do some catching up once I got home from spending 8 years abroad in California. I told myself, I needed to get back to my roots: you know, all the places that mom used to take me to when I was little. Try them as an adult and see what’s really going on. So… the other night after I’d had too many cocktails, my boyfriend suggests we stop at White Castle, seeing as how we were stranded on the fast-food island(otherwise known as Kingshighway) and the only way to escape the dragon was the White(Castle) Knight. And then I woke up from my dream the next morning: All the events of the night before were a spoof in the blip of time– or not. Do you want to know how to make a hangover WORSE the next day? Try going to White Castle. Actually, please don’t. I feel obliged to keep any of my Unilocaling sisters and brothers from subjecting themselves to this. But I’m sure you already know. White Castle’s Revenge.
