Have been meaning to write a review for this place. We visited 6/11, and while our waitress was great, the food was gross. We ordered a crab cake that was filled with shells, as well as crab stuffed mushrooms that were also full of shells. We ended up wasting most of the food because of this. Will not be returning!

Was told so many good things about this place so I was really disappointed. Waitress was awful and had an attitude to boot. Calamari tasted like something I could’ve made frozen out of a box and the crabs were ok, a few rotten. D $ 98.00 bill for bad calamari and 12 ok not impressive crabs and 4 alcoholic drinks… well…very very disappointing. Would not recommend.

Did a day trip to St. Michaels and had lunch here for Mother’s Day. Food was good, view was better.

Dinner was very good. Service was excellent. Our waitress Kim was very helpful n quickly took my soft shell crab back n had it cooked longer. They said it was done but I like mine fried more. The crusty hot rolls were awesome(I ate too many and couldn’t finish my meal). The view overlooking the harbor was also very nice.

Had a few appetizers and my husband had a bloody Mary… it was delicious! Also enjoyed the atmosphere. And the owner is an Eagles fan…:)

Wonderful atmosphere, AMAZING food, wonderful scenery, however terrible service. This was our first night to eat here and overall we are satisfied except for the service we received. Our waitress Kim, she was not very attentive, kinda snappy in the tone she spoke, and our food took an hour to arrive. EXTREMELYSLOWSERVICE. After all that, she messed up the bill not once but TWICE and instead of doing what most restaurants would do and just taking care of what she forgot to charge after having to already fix the 100 $ OVERCHARGE, she then came back and asked AGAIN for the credit card to run it for an item she didn’t add. It was unacceptable. We will be coming back for the food, but definitely going to be requesting to not be placed with Kim.

Showed up the other day after driving over two hours. We were greeted by a little paper sign in the window that said«closed for the season». I should have checked the website, but«oh, no!» I did, and there was no mention of the closing. Oops.

Service was the best part of this dinner. I would not rush back so quickly for a mediocre meal. Nothing unusual or different in the food.

Beautiful views, good service, but terrible food. I was with three other people and no one liked their meals. French fries were good. We had crab soups and soft shell crab sand which, also grilled cheese.

Loved this place and the whole town. The food was fresh and tasted great. The crab dishes were everything we hoped for. Service was great as well. Eating in their deck is wonderful on the water and the views of the boats are nice as well. We’ll definitely come down again.

Food was pretty good. Crab dip was not bad but not anything too special. The maryland chicken was very good with the spinach. Baked potato was so so, did not come cut or fully loaded, just butter and sour cream. Soft shell crab was pretty good. Our waitress was not very friendly but the other staff seemed to be. Picnic table seats which are probably fine for most but due to back pain I prefer seats with a back.

Had a nice lunch here. Food is on the heavier side but that’s what we expected. Broiled crab balls were a favorite of our 16 month old!

Lovely venue — picturesque setting on the waterfront — excellent drinks — I had the Orange Creamsicle — locals eat there because the food is superb! The cream of crab soup is delicious and full of a huge amount of lump crab chunks and then we had Crab Imperial. For those who have no idea what Crab Imperial is don’t ask the Wait Staff because the one we had looked bewildered and could not answer accurately. As best as I can say it is back fin crab in a light cream sauce with a hint of Dijon mustard sauce lightly broiled in the oven — it was AMAZING!

What a fun and delicious place! If you want true Maryland crabs you need to come here. It’s a local feel and a great atmosphere. The crabs are coated in old bay seasoning and extremely fresh. All the fish tastes so fresh like it was just caught that day(and I’m sure it was!). If you are from out of state this place is a MUSTTRY! They throw some paper on the table and hand you the bucket of delicious crabs. Get your hand dirty and feel like a true local! I’d recommend making a reservation since it’s such a popular place! The staff is always very pleasant and service has been great in all my experiences. Sitting outside right on the water and seeing boats makes the experience even more enjoyable! Also, it’s in such a great location there’s an ice cream parlor only a walking distance away and the beautiful quaint town is definitely a place to visit :)

We decided to pick a place for dinner that would allow outdoor seating on the water! The waterfront seating is boxed in by fences so not much of a view. The waitress was super nice however food was just ok… the soft shell crab ordered by my friend was not fresh. The waitress did ask her if she wanted something else but she was pretty full so she declined. The waitress reported the situation to the manager but when the manager came over she didn’t identify herself as the manager and just cleared our plates. While a substitute of food was declined we thought that perhaps a discount off of that particular meal would have been fair, although we did not specifically request this. They have a very large menu and a vast alcohol selection but overall not impressed.

Heading to NC and finding places to visit on our way from NYC. We thought about visiting Maryland since it is on our way heading South. One of our friend recommended St. Michael’s Crab and Steakhouse. This is definitely the place for awesome seafood and libations. We were here twice today. First for drinks at the tavern then back couple hours for dinner. There is an outside deck dining. Lots of locals here and great atmosphere. Drinks are made differently here. Their world famous Bloody Mary’s are out of this world. Usually order a cosmo– Well folks it was not pink or bitter at all. The drink was smooth. Yes, served in a small martini glass and came with a side bottle filled with more cosmo concoction to pour into your glass afterwards. Martini’s are also smooth too with three olives. Reminds me I still have to finishing seeing episodes of Madmen on Netflix. Dozen Steamed Cherrystone Clams dipped it hot melted butter so sinful. They bring a bottle of honey when you order a basket of Hushpuppies. Every table had a basket of these babies. They were so addicting. Eat one and you got to have more. Ordered the Rockfish(In 1965, Rockfish was named the official fish in the State of Maryland). It taste like Striped Bass. Just delicious the way it was served broiled in lemon herb butter. The Crab Combo dinner– Fried soft shell crab with Maryland Crab cake. What a delightful seafood treat with a waterfront dining experience.

What a delicious lunch! My mom and I enjoyed the beautiful waterfront view, the yummy cocktails, and the fabulous appetizers. We both had the crab cake sandwich and it was wonderful! I loved their tartar sauce and clam strips. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and decorated nicely. We had an awesome afternoon here!

This restaurant was atrocious. My fiancé and I waited for close to half an hour to wait for someone to even take our drink order(which never happened). Multiple parties were in the back dining room with us and three servers didn’t even look our way. After being treated as if we were invisible, we took our business next door to Town Dock Restaurant which had amazing food and service! This restaurant will never have our business.

1 star for friendly attentive service 1 star for location Otherwise. Not worth a visit at all The food was really bland and overpriced for what it was. I had the white wine mussels which were served in an oversized tray with raw onions and a side cup of «sauce» which literally had no flavor other than that of watered down chicken broth. Womp womp womp I was starving. So I just ate them — but it was obvious they weren’t fresh .: almost had a chalky texture to them. I’m assuming because they were previously frozen When I come to a bay /beach town in the summer. I want delicious fresh seafood. I’ve had far better mussels in February in a sorry excuse of a restaurant in Philadelphia(unfortunate hometown) Hubby had the shrimp scampi — really measly for the price. . No flavor . Best part were the free dinner rolls. Which are probably not made here Bottom line– this is a big SKIP There are plenty of waterfront hangout spots. The only thing I see that they have going for them is their location. Pack a lunch and go sit by the water instead

Great place for fresh crabs, fried oysters, crab cakes, and onion rings. Sit outside with a tray of crabs and a mallet. Eat to your heart’s content with a bonus view of the water and lovely boats. The staff was also friendly and accommodating for our large group.
