The majority of the items in this store seem dingy, ragged, out of date, etc. etc. I think this is a store that people with a ton of kids come into and let them go wild playing with the display toys etc. etc. You can hunt and peck and you may find something that is acceptable but you really have to search hard and inspect your item carefully. I am not sure when Burlington got so run down because I have been in some that were way better than this.

Are you a giant? You’ll love this place. There is a small area in the middle of the store where you can find size medium all the way up to 4x of badly hung coats. There is a vast selection of shoes, dresses, active wear, toys, baby clothes, and (unexpectedly) intimate apparel.
Unfortunately, I wear a size small and was looking for a coat. I thought going to a place that has the word «coat» in its name would be a good place to start. More fool, I.
What’s in a name anyway? Maybe Dress Barn has coats…

First time in one of these stores. It seems like a cross between Marshall’s, Savers and a TJ Maxx only a lot more product and more spread out.
I came in looking for a specific type of pant after failing to find them at three other stores. The nice young lady walked me over to the section which I thought was nice. Most usually point me in the direction. She stopped what she was doing and escorted me over.
They have a huge baby section.
Check out gal was friendly.
Merchandise seems ok. I didn’t really look too much for stuff other than what I needed. Prices are decent.
First time there, probably not the last.

Swanton, VT
East coast store in the middle of the US makes me homesick. You can find a crapload of things at a BCF. These places are good to hit up when it is crappy weather outside. The clothing is ok, but they do have a good selection of coats (hence the store’s name). It is like a less organized Marshall’s or TJMaxx. Good place to stock up on stuff, just don’t expect it to be CRAZY name brand stuff, it is good middle of the road brands and decent prices… which is what you look for in places like this.
