Wraps and Apps definitely doesn’t have all those extra bells and whistles. But he’s a nice, hard-working guy that serves local food from a great menu. I had the cuban; and the pork was juicy and plentiful. I only wish they had a good, spicy mustard. Cubans need to have that zest. And this cuban didn’t. The slaw was a nice extra touch though. I didn’t try any of the apps, but I’m second-guessing this decision. The app menu looks amazing. Full of every kind of comfort food. The jalapeño bites looked delicious. Next time for sure!

From the exterior of the truck to the concept of the menu, Wraps & Apps keeps things pretty utilitarian. The truck itself is stark white with simple stenciled wording that indicates it’s a food truck and not some delivery vehicle. The menu is also just as straight-forward; comprised of a number of wraps, dogs and a few finger foods. And while the menu itself is hardly unique(you can probably find similar menu items at a number of nearby delis and restaurants) they are at least committed to using all local ingredients, are reasonably priced and your food is generally ready quickly. I’ve had a few wraps here and they’ve been fine, though nothing terribly noteworthy. I will, however, order the jalapeño bites anytime as they’re quite good(lightly breaded slices of pickled jalapenos). Overall, it’s simple, filling, fairly no frills food that’s served with a smile.
