When it comes to St. Paul’s in St. Chuck this place wins HANDS DOWN. St. Paul sandwiches have been as slow to make it across the bridge from St. Louis to St. Chuck much like those of the darker hue (I can say that as one of them uh… hmmmmm) and this one my friends is the best. From the perfect golden brown outer crisp of the patty, to the moist innards of the vegetables and protein if you care to add it was straight up 5 star.
The sandwich itself was presented in a fashion I wasn’t used to being a hardcore STL native, where the white bread was lightly toasted to mirror the outer surface crisp and the moist inside bread. It was dressed with pickles, tomato, lettuce, and mayo. If there was cheese on it… it didn’t even matter as the others presented beautifully and tastefully. Now all this being said… DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, use this as a bar to think you are about to get city rice (Def. rice that is chocolate brown, that is fried with only onions, scallions, egg, and poss. bean sprouts only… none of us peas and carrot stir fry junk.) as I am only commenting on the excellence of their ST. PAUL SANDWICHES. For my lighter skinned bros and sister that don’t know what exactly that is is google it, or ask a close friend that has lived in St. Louis City or County that partakes of the fried rice or chinamen as we grew up knowing it as.

Another great meal at a very reasonable price. Had a delicious dinner with enough for tomorrow’s lunch. Thanks, China Garden!

I chose this place based on the price and the reviews. Wow was I let down. The food was lacking flavor, all of it.. .the egg roll, the soup, the garlic pork — everything! The only good thing about placing this order was I received the delivery quickly and the prices are good.

Just ordered a whole shrimp and chicken fried rice after ate partial of it I had to dump it in trash it’s taste horrible!

New management! We love this place! Friendly, clean, fast, reasonably priced. Above all: excellent food! We eat here every week and we are never disappointed. We’ve done not pick up or delivery. Service is excellent either way. Try China Garden — you will love it!

Much improved over China Moon who used to be here; the place has been brightened up considerably, is cleaner, the staff is friendlier, and more important the food is better. The General Tso’s Chicken was tasty, although not hot like I like it to be; egg rolls and fried rice were good. Soda is in cans or bottles; dining in, they serve food on a real plate. I went here because my regular spot China King was closed for some reason the other day, and I left happy. A decent little place for Chinese food.

We came into the restaurant and ordered our food to go on a Monday evening at 6:03. The woman explained that they were busy and I would be be about 20 minutes. We waited 45 – 59 minutes total. There was so much confusion in the kitchen and the workers were obviously frustrated with each other. When food was finally ready, the woman apologized and offered a free drink. Hope they get the service end fixed. Food is REALLY GOOD!!!

Under new management and what a difference! I was brave and ordered sushi for delivery, not something I would normally have delivered. It was fresh and tasty. I ordered Cali roll, Boston roll and crab/​cream cheese roll. They added cucumber to crab roll at no charge. Also ordered gyoza which was very good, dipping sauce was a little sweet for my taste but that is personal preference. Only thing I didn’t like was hot food was bagged with sushi and sushi was a little warmer than I would have liked. Easy fix, put in fridge for about 5 mins. Next time I will request separate bags. All in all I was quite happy with my dinner and will not hesitate to order again.

Now the new owners do not the same as before. We are going to try very tasty
