Publix

My favorite Publix! It’s new and HUGE! They have everything you want and more. The staff at the deli are always friendly and nice! They have wine tastings too and of course love the meals to try around dinner time to try and for inspiration. Love this publix!!!

Four stars? Yep! This is a brand new location with another store only a block away and here’s why:
This location used to be an Albertsons until Publix bought them out and over a few years time, they demolished the store down to its foundation and rebuilt with their floor plan and I love this place since!
This place has their bakery, deli, salad buffet bar and some of the nicest people working behind those counters.
I mean I just love shopping in Publix in general because of their typical $ 5 off $ 40 or if you’re even lucky, their $ 10 off $ 50 purchase! I know typically grocery stores «hide» their prices with their BOGO type of deals but I feel like even with that, their service is typically bar-​none to anyone else.
Their cashiers are always friendly, nice and accommodating with their naggers always asking if you need any assistance, regardless male or female.
As always, I will be a repeat customer for a long time and it is truly «where shopping is a pleasure.»

I love publix. I go there a lot… for certain things. NOT my main grocery store. Aldi is half the price and far less overwhelming in number of options.
This review is mainly regarding their FRIED CHICKEN. I’m a huuuuge fan of fried chicken, and have always preferred Publix’s chicken. I typical put the chicken in the oven before eating. This makes it super crispy and hot, and cooks off some of the excess oil.
Anyway, I got fried chicken last night and it was somewhat less impressive than usual. I found there to be a lot of breading and fatty stuff. The box had quite a large pile of discarded excess crap by the time I was done. That being said, besides the junk, the actually chicken was phenomenal. The breast pieces are hands down the best. I might just get 2 of those next time and skip the whole 8 piece box. Smaller drumstick and wing pieces are almost just a pile of breading and skin.

I love Publix and I love that this Publix is close by so I can get there easily. It’s located on a busier road so it definitely piles up during peak hours, but like all other Publixes, it’s simply the best.
This Publix has a hot foods section and a salad bar and some of the nicest ladies working in the deli. I’ve ordered sandwiches and catering food from here and it’s always made on time.
The staff is really friendly and welcoming and is always there if you need any help with anything.
I have noticed that a lot of their items don’t get restocked so you have to request it, something I find unusual for Publix. But when everything is there, this is a great grocery store!

I can’t believe they bag the 2 liter bottles with only 1 bag!!! I was carrying it out of the store and it went through a hole and spilled everywhere! The cart guy looked at me and walked away never to be seen again.

I know most all Publixes are nice… but this one seemed a lot bigger and nicer! Lol. I didn’t really have time to look around at everything that might be different here than at others since I was on a time crunch. I just meant to pick up some fruit and dinner items but when I went back towards the meat/​seafood department I happily saw that they had a ton of prepared stuff ready where you just pop it in the oven or on the stove and cook and eat. No other kitchen prep necessary! I’ve not really seen such a vast amount of options like this at other Publixes. So I grabbed some seasoned turkey meatballs, pecan crusted chicken, and a couple of Cajun seasoned salmon fillets. They also had Publix stocks/​soups available as well near the seafood.
Checkout was quick as usual. Fast and friendly service is always nice. I will need to check out their beer/​wine section if I come back. Oh – and they had TWO Redbox kiosks so I didn’t have to wait to return my movies. :)
