Chianti International Cusine

I really wanted to like this place due to the rave comments of many of my friends. Unfortunately, this was not possible.
I sat facing the wall that has the kitchen on the other side. I saw all sorts of bugs scurrying up and down the wall. I am not an emotologist and can not state what types of bugs they were, but there were some that looked like roaches and some that looked like spiders and some that looked like buds I see in my flower garden. I saw several head over to the register counter and make themselves home there.
The above is not forgivable but I do want to talk about the food. All my friends have told me about the good pasta dishes. We ordered one salad, one pasta, and one steak dish and it was clear that the pasta dish was the best of the three with the salad trying to be imaginative but falling desperately short. I did not care for the steak at all.
The other pet peeve I have is that when we told the server that we would be sharing all the courses I thought they would split these evenly in the kitchen. Unfortunately this was not the case.
Based on the food and service experience I would try this place again, but after the parade of bugs I do not think I will return.
