Stopped in on my lunch break and ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Rice Lunch Special. Getting the food took a little longer than expected since it wasn’t so busy. I suggest calling ahead if you need to get in and out of there quickly. The food portion was very generous. Lots of rice and just the right amount of chicken as well. Overall, food was very yummy and I will come back again and try their other menu items.

I’d say tied for best teriyaki in Salem with Sunny’s teriyaki in Keizer. We had yakasoba and teriyaki chicken super spice. It was the right spice level for us. Friendly staff, big portions & kimchee! The dumpling soup looks good. Minus one star for their kid roller blading around the restaurant while we were eating.

Food is actually very good but seems soy sauce is worth it’s weight in gold. I hit this spot on a regular basis to have papa San tell me that each one was so much given I had ordered an order to go was a bit much. I ordered two dishes to go and got one tiny so sauce with it. Love their food but this unacceptable. Even more pissed of now. I ordered fried shrimp and they are tasty. No sauces provided at all. Why are expected condiments so lacking. I’m at a loss great food, but the delivery sucks

Ok, so I like to assume all places are a 5 star Place and add/subtract as needed, so plus one star for using a monkey in the logo, subtract a star for no fountain drinks, bottles/cans only, subtract another for ambiance, but back up to five for taste to dollars spent ratio. Overall I really liked this place, terryaki sauce not overly sweet, we had beef, pork, and chicken, all was good, and yakisoba noodles well above average

The food here is pretty great! I was a little surprised given it’s location(triple check your locked car, hide your kids, hide your wives, etc.). The staff is very nice and accommodating. The seating is pretty decent, and the atmosphere is a blend of kitsch and trying-really-hard-to-be-posh. I found it interesting that the restaurant is owned and operated by a Chinese family. I mean… Teriyaki Bento. Anyway, the chicken teriyaki, yakisoba, salad, and crab puffs are great. Get ‘em.

Always down to try a new Teriyaki joint. Lottery must keep this place afloat because, the food couldn’t possibly. Our food was served cold, not lukewarm but, cold. I’m not one to return food so I thought I’d try it. We both had the Teriyaki Chicken with Salad and an order of Gyoza. The salad looked like it was well past its best by date. The rice was soggy, not sticky. Their Teriyaki sauce was rancid. The salad dressing would’ve been good if it was on an eatable salad. The Gyoza looked homemade but, had very little filling. We tried everything but declined to eat any of it. The waitress came around asking how it was, I told her it was cold and we couldn’t even eat it. She grabbed our plates and went on her way. Never again.

Probably the best teriyaki I have had in Salem. Not only that but they have a regular Chinese food menu. Tastes great!

Great family run place– I order from them about once a month for lunch for my staff– they are always very friendly, the food is great, the portions large and very reasonably priced. They have a competitor up the street who is well known in the area and is good but way more expensive, doesn’t have a lunch special on Saturdays and not as accomodating. Great people, great food– not easy to find but worth the effort

So I have driven past this place countless times on my way to another Teriyaki place north of here, and always thought: «I should try this place sometime.» Well I finally did and I was very pleased. I ordered two meals to go. Teriyaki Beef and Teriyaki Chicken. My only ‘complaint’ is that they were really heavy on the rice and light on the meat. The flavor was good and they didn’t drown the meal in teriyaki sauce. I was the only customer in the place and the service was quick. It was about 15 minutes from ordering to heading home to enjoy. I will patronize this place again! You should too!

My favorite teriyaki restaurant in Salem. The yakisoba is bar none the best in town. I like it hot, and when you order it that way they use hotter peppers instead of just more chili paste. My wife usually gets her yakisoba mild. Items seem highly customizable. The new space is comfortable and pleasant. Staff is very nice and food is ready quickly.

Ate here last week with my bf. I had the bulgogi and he had the spicy chicken. The lady working was very nice. The seating is very comfortable… some of the most comfy booths I’ve ever sat in. Like another reviewer, I prefer to have my foods marinated instead of with alot of sauce, but it was very flavorful. My bf absolutely loved his food and already wanted to go back twice this week. This will probably be our go-to place in Keizer when we want rice but not Chinese. The prices are decent and is not much farther than Love Love Teriyaki II. The food and service here is better though.

I have been going to this restaurant for take out for years. They have always been friendly and fast, even if I have a large order. The Teriyaki Chicken is delicous! They will also make General Tso Chicken for me which is one of my favorites. Their new location has much more room, and yet maintains the family atmosphere. Overall, an excellent choice for a meal.

It’s good, but I don’t like my teriyaki to have so much sauce. I want my chicken already marinated in teriyaki and then grilled, I don’t like grilled chicken covered with a heavy teriyaki sauce. I am sorry, might not come back
