I traded in a few things the other day since they were having a special on trade-​ins. Beforehand, I checked the web site for prices and called ahead to confirm. When I got there, the clerk, Zach, offered noticeably lower trade-​in values than what the web site had given me. When I inquired about it, he said that the web site values were «only an estimate.» The woman who was also at the desk echoed his answer as if trying to justify the price change. I called GameStop headquarters afterwards and they said that that is not how things work. The GameStop across the street at Northridge actually uses the prices that the web site provides. If you are going to do any trading, go there instead.

Of the four GameStop locations I frequent in the area this store has the best selection of older games that include their original case and instruction booklet.
I appreciate that they still carry a few PSP games with the original manual and case but their selection is unfortunately dwindling.
The majority of the Nintendo DS game cases have been discarded, and the games are now just slipped into a small envelope. If you do purchase one of these loose DS games beware of any price stickers slapped on the back of the game itself as the residue can potentially get onto the connector pins of the Game Pak, rendering it unable to play.

Woah! Only 1 star for this Gamestop? This place has been so helpful when I buy my ps3 games. I guess I go on good days, because the staff has been extra helpful when I ask about individual games.

I can’t even say how much i dislike this GameStop. I barely ever go in there, but when i do they are all extremely rude and unhelpful. They always make fun of every game i and the other customers there buy and say they ‘suck’, and that i shouldn’t buy it. They are all very unprofessional and rude. You shouldn’t talk to your customers like that, and you certainly shouldn’t be telling them not to buy something from your store! I avoid this gamestop every chance i get and i would rather make the drive to the one on s main street.

People there are helpful, usually I can find what I need… however, they should sell vintage games and consoles, then it would truly be the gamestop
