This is my favorite place to get sizzling rice soup. I usually call in for take out and it’s just as good as when I dine in. However, today when I walked in to pay for my soup order, the lady told me they don’t do soups to-​go or ever have in their 30 years of business. I told the lady that didn’t make sense because I’ve ordered carry out soups from them plenty of times. She argued and said that I was wrong. I couldn’t believe how I had been treated so I walked out. It’s so infuriating to be essentially called a liar after I’ve been a patron to this restaurant and the one in Seaside for nearly 20 years. If they supposedly don’t do soups to go, why did they take my order in the first place? Bottom line… the food is good yet the customer service is terrible. I would give 1 star or none at all if the food was awful but their lack of good customer service has been their downfall. I suppose I have to look for a new Chinese restaurant now.
