If you have another choice, go somewhere else. Still waiting almost an hour after my husband’s appointment time. It’s hard enough to go over 36 hours without food but to have to sit on hard wooden chairs beyond appointment time is just not pleasant. Funny as they prominently display a sign for a $ 250 charge for missed appointments. What’s our time worth?

Waited over an hour past my appointment time but they let someone with a later appointment go ahead of us with zero wait time. Just because she didn’t want to wait. This is ridiculous! Do not recommend! The place is packed and everyone has been waiting 1 – 2 hours

I was referred to a specific doctor here for a routine colonoscopy. I had been to this office about 10 years ago for the same procedure by that doctor. That experience was fine(considering!). I was told to arrive at 10:30 for an 11:00 a.m. appointment. Most of those extra 30+ minutes were just spent sitting in a crowded waiting room(poor choice of magazines, too, by the way). I met another couple who said they had been there since about 9:30 for a 10:00 a.m. appointment. When I was called in, they were still waiting– maybe for a different doctor– but I told the person who took me in just in case there had been a mistake. I was escorted to an area with a cot and a floor to ceiling curtain around it. There was a used pad of gauze on the floor(it was still there when they brought me back some time later after the procedure). I was given instructions by a male aide or nurse but it was very difficult to understand him due to how fast & abruptly he spoke and his accent. People opened and closed the curtain several times as if they expected the cot to be empty or were looking for another patient(with me in varying states of undress). Anyway, there seemed to be mass confusion, with people rushing everywhere and talking loudly in what sounded like several different languages or accents. I was finally wheeled into the procedure room by a female aide or nurse. There was still another patient lying on a gurney in the room. After some time they wheeled him out. The nurse started asking me questions and giving me instructions about how to position myself, etc. It was difficult to understand her, as she also spoke abruptly & rapidly and with a strong accent. She seemed confused that I was not yet on an i.v. I asked her if there had been an emergency or if staff had called in sick because it seemed rather chaotic. No, she said everything was normal. She then inserted the i.v. needle and quite a bit of blood was spilled. She said she had to flush it and went to get something. Meanwhile the needle was hanging out of my hand and was about to fall out when she returned and finished the job on the i.v. At this point I was not very confident and seriously considered leaving, except I had gone through that unpleasant prep routine and did not want to repeat it, so I stayed and said nothing. She then told me she would give me something to relax(did not specify what) but that I also needed to relax for the procedure or it would hurt and make it difficult for the doctor. A woman with long dangling earrings came in and said she was the doctor who would do the procedure. I said I thought it would be that other doctor and she said no, she was doing it. Several times during the procedure I complained of pain but was just ordered to relax. My concern was that the pain was not what I was told to expect(from the instrument) but from intense pressure in my abdomen. I am not squeamish about medical procedures and have had several routine operations where I felt very well cared for by doctors and staff at other facilities. This time I did not feel I was well cared for but treated unprofessionally and unkindly– like I was an object or inconvenience. I do not recommend this place or the staff.

Wait time is terrible. 50 minutes after appointment asked how much longer. Was told they were getting the bed ready now and would be 5 minutes. Finally was taken to room after 1 hour 15 minutes. Only told a patient had taken longer.

After reading the previous reviews I was a little nervous about my test last Monday. It was quick simple and without a Problem. The staff was efficient and helpful. In addition my visit was not first come first served in fact I had an 8:30 appointment, and was seen on time.

I was sent here recently for an endoscopy, I’m thinking the practice was sold since the last time I was their. The office looks run down, the staff is so poorly trained it’s embarrassing. I had to greet the front desk clerk when I got their, once i was taken in they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. At one point Dr Chandra, opened the door to the procedure room where their was a patient that was out, and told one of her staff members they had done something wrong, it was so unprofessional! Little did I know I was about to go into the same room. Once i was taken in no one was saying anything, they were cleaning up after last patient and prepping for me! I couldn’t believe i was were I was, I felt like it was in a 3rd world country medical clinic. No one had put me on an iv and they didn’t seem to know who was supposed to do that, once they put the needle in they injected the drugs and a minute later Dr Chandra was shoving the medical device down my throat, I was still conscious and in pain started crying half asleep, last thing I remember was her saying«don’t fight it», then I was out. I am disgusted at the level of service, care and lack professionalism from the staff and the Doctor. I have looked into this doctors record since the procedure and found out she has a terrible reputation in Watsonville. If I had known then what I know now I would have canceled the procedure right then and their. Stay away from her!

Bad & long waiting without considering patients’s appointment times & conditions. It’s not first come first serve by appointment times. Especially patients who have been exhausted from heavy laxative & no foods for more than 24 hours
