Mancini’s Sleepworld

Great experience getting our mattress and bed frame. Rod was very helpful, he would check up on us frequently though respected our boundaries when we were test driving the different mattresses. I feel we got a great deal and will be very happy with our purchase!
Our mattress has not arrived yet so I will add more once the delivery happens. They will be removing our old frame and mattress for free which is very nice!

My husband and I just purchased a mattress set here! We had an idea of what we wanted, but the manager, Jake, was very helpful and we ended up with a different brand… Better mattress, but lower price due to a sale that he told us about. :)
They offer free delivery and removal of the old mattress, or moving it to another room, in our case. We also got a free sheet set.
(A competitor on N. Main St. does not have as good prices… Also, not as big of a selection as Mancini’s has…)
Overall, a great experience!

They have a very good selection of mattresses and the staff are very knowledgeable.
I got a good sale this president’s day weekend!

My significant other and I have been shopping around for a bed since July when we knew we’d be moving to a new house and decided our current bed was causing us both significant back pain.
We went to other local mattress stores and laid on beds until we had an idea of what it was that we wanted. I went online to do research on prices and Mancini’s was notably the least expensive for the brand we desired, so we popped on over to the Salinas store.
We were helped by Jake, who was helpful but not at all pushy, which I really appreciated. Other stores you can tell the sales people are on commission, this was not at all the sense I got at Mancini’s. Jake allowed us to have the time we needed to try the beds, and even helped us find a most cost-​effective solution to my significant other’s desire for an adjustable base, and my desire to not spend wildly, considering I’m a broke graduate student. When he quoted us the prices for what we wanted I was amazed! I had anticipated paying 500‑1000 more based on what other stores had quoted us, but with the great price I couldn’t say no! We ended up getting the bed I wanted and the base my s.o. wanted, and we are both very happy. Jake’s helpfulness and calm demeanor made the whole experience very pleasant.
My friends are all super excited to lay on our new bed, (they’re so jealous) and they were also impressed with the pricing. I suspect many of them will be making their way over to Mancini’s soon.

Awesome customer service. Welcomed us in explained a little and didn’t hover when we were trying out mattresses! We had been to every other mattress shop in salinas and ikea, they were cheaper and had better selection. Plus layaway if you fall in love with a mattress out of your budget. Free mattress protector for checking in on Unilocal,and money back 120 days if you hate it. Plus warranties on the mattresses. So excited about my new mattress if you can’t tell!!!

Bought a mattress from Mancinis in Salinas and they screwed up the delivery so bad that we just ended up canceling the order. They have horrible customer service, never called us back when there was a problem with the order.
When Mancinis came to deliver the mattress the sales person had screwed up the delivery. The new mattress was in and the old mattress was out by their truck when they decided there was a problem with the paperwork, so they put the old mattress back, even though they claimed that they would be back the next morning to deliver the exact same mattress again! We had already paid and they weren’t disputing the payment, it was something to do with the removal of the old mattress. The manager at the store was «too busy» to handle the issue right then, so we get to reschedule to wait around the next day for another two hour window. If it was a simple paperwork issue they should have been able to just finish the delivery instead of making us reschedule for a new two hour window. They were supposed to schedule it for the next day and we never got a call back. We just ended up calling and canceling the order.
