Unilocal, thanks for helping us find this gem! We were visiting from outside the area and craving some authentic pan dulce. OMG, this panaderia has out of this world yummy treats at great low prices. We bought 6 different types of bread and they were all amazing and super fresh. FYI, the strip mall is super sketchy and be sure to bring cash :)

Best Mexican pan dulce in all of Monterey County and I am not exaggerating. Bolillo is made all day so you will always find warm, soft bolillo no matter what time you walk in. Staff is quiet but friendly. Bread is soo cheap and sooo good!

Best Mexican bakery in Salinas, hope they open a second location on North side so i don’t have to drive all the way to the East side.

I love this place. They open early and close late seven days a week. You walk in and its warm and smells good. Sometimes it’s busy, but $ 0.75 per bread is cheap! and it tastes good. They have something different to accommodate every person. I like the jelly rolls or tri-colored cookie. Sometimes the corn shaped one. They only speak spanish, but the cash register will tell you what to pay. CASHONLY! but it’s tasty bread.

No other Mexican bakery compares to Tres Hermanos in Salinas! The bread is very soft and delicious! I have a theory but I could be wrong; I believe they bake bread throughout the day, that’s why every time you go in there it’s like an oven! Most bakeries often bake in the morning and often break looks, feels and taste old, not here!!! Not here!!! They have a wide selection of bread, milk and some soft drinks!!! And they make ham tortas early in the morning which are also very good! The only drawback is that they don’t accept credit/debit cards !!!
