Charming, old school neighborhood barber shop. I had to make a day trip to Salinas, and ended up wandering into this barber shop. I couldn’t be happier with the haircut (and the price). The folks there are truly engaging. The atmosphere takes you back to another era. The straight-​edge razor line-​up with warm shaving cream was icing on the cake. What a great place!

I have had the best haircut EVER from Lily! She is the best, when she retires, I’m shaving my head from there on out! She is nice, interesting, and knows how to cut hair.

Such a cool little place! Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon and was greeted by Lily, and sat right down and told her what I wanted. We chatted while she expertly cut my hair. The best part was the hot shaving cream and straight razor around the ears and back of the neck. Such a blast from the past, and a welcome departure from the cookie cutter hair cutting places we’ve all come to accept. Plus, compared to 95% of the places I’ve gotten my hair cut, it’s CHEAP. I’m going back!

First, great cut. She knows what she’s doing, very well done and quick. Price was very reasonable. Nice to see old school barber shops still doing straight razor clean up work and aftershave/​baby powder.
My only issue was that she didn’t seem overly friendly after asking for a specific cut and fade. Maybe just a busy day, but will definitely be going back.

Lily is GREAT with kids! My son has been getting his hair cut by Lily since he was 1, she always has a treat in her drawer and a smile on her face. VERY patient with a wiggly one.
Always call ahead to make sure she’s open. Her schedule is flexible and not all websites have the correct hours listed.
