Rooter Man

I’m surprised by the bad rating here. Sometimes, I think people have really unrealistic expectations of how much they should be charged for service work like painting, plumbing, electrical etc. I called Rooter Man for a job at my business, and while the guy on the phone left a little to be desired, the plumber who came out, Anthony, was great. He was knowledgeable, polite, and clean cut. As a woman who works at an office with only women it is important to me that the people who come do our work make us all feel comfortable and don’t leave us creeped out. After Anthony left all of us in the office commented on how we’ve never had a plumber who seemed so professional and well spoken. I use Rooter Man for all my home and office plumbing needs and refer him to anyone who asks!

This review is mixed. If I was only rating the plumber it would be 5 stars. If I was rating the dispatcher it would be one or two. If you use them, ask them to send Anthony. Great plumber. Professional, courteous and friendly. Explains what he finds, and what is required to fix it. Our house is old and the plumbing can be crazy. He handled it well

They charge $ 89 to come out to your home and then tell you the repair will be 2 – 3 times what the industry charges for the same repair. In my case they wanted to charge me $ 250 + parts to replace a thermocoupler, I asked a local business today, who said they would have done the same job for $ 68+parts. I ended up watching YouTube and fixed the problem myself.
I have nothing against the repair guy who came out, but I had a hard time believing that the company he worked for would overcharge by so much.
I would sue for my $ 89 but I figure this Unilocal!review will cost them way more in the long run. I am outraged and hope they think twice before trying to do this to someone else.
