So far so bad… I am supposed to have surgery there on Monday morning by Dr. Patrick Wong. This has been scheduled for the past 2 weeks yet I have not received any communication from them and it is now 6:50 pm on the Friday before my surgery. I called the office but it is closed. I called the WorkWell clinic I was sent to originally by my employer and they were able to tell me that my surgery is scheduled for 11:30 am on Monday morning but have no idea if I have to fast, not fast, if I can’t drink past a certain hour etc… Also had I not called twice today I would never have even known what time my surgery is going to be or where it was going to be as I was originally told it was going to be in Monterey at Ryan’s Ranch. I am not sure if this is a result of Dr. Patrick Wong’s personal staff or the staff of the Salinas Surgery Center but either way it is unacceptable. I don’t understand how you can just not call a patient and tell them what time they need to be in for surgery nor where they have to report to. I would love to hear from the surgery center or Dr. Wong as far as what happened and why I have to figure out for myself where and when I need surgery.

My husband had surgery 10/19/2011 at Salinas Surgery Center. They are excellent! I highly recommend surgery there the entire team is attentive and so very professional. Most of all they truly care.

We had an early morning appointment to get tubes in my daughters ears. Both the lobby and staff were warm and welcoming. They had coffee ready and waiting in the lobby. From start to finish the staff was very clear in explaining what was happening and how it would proceed.
