I just visited this place about half an hour ago(7:00 am 2÷11÷16). To my surprise I got a Venti hot drink full of foam. My drink had no flavor either! Last time it happened to my girlfriend as well on a Grande drink. I let it slide once, but it has happened twice!!! There is an employee responsible for this, but I will not disclose any names. They simply need to re-train some baristas. I don’t mind having to stir my drink with sugar(on walk-ins only for obvious reasons). However, paying for a foam filled Venti is a disgrace. A few years back they had great staff. They owned up to their mistakes. For example, my friend bought a hot drink that tasted so-so. He was given a different one in return. I am unsure what happend to the previous staff.

Every Monday, this is my breakfast place. They usually try to up sell you by asking if you’d like caramel or chocolate syrup without warning you about the extra charges. If you know your regular order, you don’t need to answer their add on questions.

They should really post up a sign stating what time theyre closed so that I dont have to pull up to the drive thru and be completely IGNORED!!! The girl straight up made eye contact with me TWICe and did not even bother to at least let me know that she’s closed. I couldn’t even tell bc it was around 9 it wasn’t that late. At least lemme know so I don’t just sit there waiting to be serviced! That was completely rude. Dear Sanborn Starbucks manager, please train your baristas to at least have the common courtesy to let your customers know when your closed and not just ignore them!!! Geez

Now I see what all the other comments are about, the blond lady at the drive thu was rude! I’m sorry I asked u if you can throw away my old Starbucks cup, she looked at me like I was a leper and gave me the hand through the throat(the beheading symbol) and said no outside trash, then closed her lil window at me. I’ve asked other places to do that before, at times it’s good, others times it’s I’m sorry it’s against our policy,(which I’m fine with, i worked in customer service through college I know how customers can be) but she made me feel like I was committing a crime… Not sure if I’ll be going to that Starbucks again

I returned to my one time favorite Starbucks. I was beyond pleased to see one of the regular baristas there. Raul is the best! the rest of the staff were new and all friendly and quick at making drinks. Thumbs up Boronda Starbucks!

I don’t understand how ppl can write reviews on how bad this Starbucks is. Every time I come here they are really nice and friendly. If I tell them what I’m feeling like drinking but can’t decide they’ll help me and they will recommend drinks some that are not even on the menu. I love this Starbucks except the location.

Four Stars… Drive Thru is a plus, so quick and easy so for that one star. It’s Starbucks, so hey star #2 As for star number three I gave it due to a friendly staff however they don’t listen to well, I have no idea how many times I said«Venti White Chocolate» «Just a plain White Chocolate» I was assured by an «oh ok, I got you» but when my order gets called«White Chocolate Mocha» ahhh! No! I had to speak up this time. I ordered a plain white chocolate not a white chocolate mocha. The lady at the register overhears what I’m complaining about and says«oh. I thought you said white chocolate mocha.» Hells no I didn’t say that. Infact it took me three times telling you plain plain plain white chocolate. geez! Anyway this wasn’t the first time nor the second hell not even the third time its happened. But this time I really wanted a plain white chocolate so I spoke up. & I’m glad I did because like I said; a friendly staff. They apologized for the mix up and created my drink even broke down the difference between the two. I even got to keep the White Chocolate Mocha so for that I added the fourth star.

The staff are not as friendly as the past staff(ie Taylor, Beth, Raul). I use to come here every morning before my commute to Santa Cruz but now I’d rather go to the SB on South Main or the Constitution. I only go here for the convenience(around the corner from my home) and I only order the drinks they absolutely cannot mess up.

What I love the most about this Starbucks location are the comfortable chairs. They are the perfect ones to get coffee, sit with a nice book and read. I also love the staff here. They are always friendly And helpful. The drive through is a bonus also

Before they closed, this location was actually very good, lines moved fast and staff was very friendly. The only other Starbucks in Salinas with a drive thru, just probably not the right location for a Starbucks. Its now closed and will be a jewelry store soon.

I used to come here all the time. The baristas always remember your drinks after the first few visits. it’s weird saying that the drinks taste better at this starbucks since starbucks is always the same everywhere but the drinks taste better at this starbucks.
