Had a great stay here. First off, we were just wandering around when we saw signs for this place and a friendly lady named M.J. could see we were checking out the property… turns out after talking briefly she ended up showing us the motel and the condos they rent. Flash ahead to June, we ended up booking a few days at the hotel and the condo(two separate stays). Now after having just completed our second visit(the condos) we can weigh in on both topics. The hotel is amazing for what it is — A room on the beach, close to the center and close to everything in Salisbury. The room is nice, we slept well, the bathroom was nice and we were about 50 ft or so from the ocean. Honestly I can’t think of many places in the Northeast you can sleep so close to the water… the sound is amazing and the beach is clean and pretty. We walked to the Black Rocks and the center virtually every day… we largely ate out but we did take some stuff back to the room and had sandwiches out of the cooler one night. There is BBQ stuff that they are upgrading(it’s still early in the season). Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. This isn’t the Four Seasons — it’s a nice and clean place on the beach — if you need super fancy I would say you probably don’t want to be in Salisbury Beach — this is a casual beach town with a nice restaurant and some good diversions… Hampton is 10 miles North if you want tons of tee-shirt shops and traffic. We like the hotel for when it’s just us… and we are returning in August for my birthday(my girlfriend’s treat!!!). We literally just got back from renting the condo/cottage for a week. WOW!!! What a lovely way to spend the early summer. The water was cold but the weather was almost perfect… it started a little on the breezy cooler side(high 60’s-low 70’s and by the end of the week it was well into the 80’s). The sun got stronger each day… we like it a touch cooler and the breezes in the condo did us well. We had 3 bedrooms so we had visitors coming and going-it was great to have family come to us. Again, this is a clean place that is comfy but not luxurious. All the beds were very comfy, living room was great, it had cable(maybe could use a cheap DVD player) there was laundry downstairs… we cooked ¾ of all meals… going out for Beach Pizza(Tripoli’s is my favorite!!!) and eating at Seaglass for lunch once and dinner once(try their mac it’s very inexpensive and awesome) and their desserts are like crack!!! We used the grills and the fire pit. We liked the private beach area that is just a 5 second walk to the main area. They have plastic lounge chairs and provide firewood. They’re is a shower outside(you have to be looking for it) to rinse off the salt water. For the money this is one of the best deals on the beach… high season is more expensive but for 3 bedrooms, two parking spots and a living room/full kitchen/dinning room you can’t do better!!!

My girlfriend wrote a neg post and I don’t see it, she posted pics of the 12 yr old mattress and 15 year old box spring. The construction going on 2 of the 4 days we stayed there. I can’t find it. What is up with that? Room 103 only room with king bed. We stayed Oct 6 — 10

Can’t think of anything negative to say– all positives here. Our room was on the bottom floor, 2 queen beds– spacious and clean with nice air conditioning and good bathroom. Flat screen tv and microwave/fridge/coffee pot in the room. They also give you a binder with info about the motel and local bars/restaurants/takeout flyers. The staff was friendly and laid back. You get a parking pass at no extra cost. My favorite part about this place– you literally can’t get more beachfront than this. You walk out your sliding door and you’re literally walking on the sand. You can hear the waves crashing at night. There’s a small porch outside each room, and the rooms walk out into a «sand garden” — a fenced off area with a grill, fire pit, picnic tables and lounge chairs for use to all guests. The beach is beautiful– huge and big waves, clear water. Not as packed and loud as Hampton beach. The location of Salisbury beach is a huge plus… Drive 10mins north and you’re in Hampton beach, NH. Drive 15 mins south and you’re in the town of Newburyport, MA which is adorable— historic whaling town with old brick sidewalks and buildings, with tons of shops/bars/restaurants/art/ice cream places. You can spend hours here. One minor drawback about the Shoreline Motel is that the walls seem thin– we didn’t spend much time in the room but when we did we heard every move the people made above us. Def not a big deal but something to think about.

Just returned from a night at The Shoreline Motel. Our room was nothing fancy, but very clean and quite comfortable. The view and location are outstanding and the owner very friendly. A great value for an oceanfront room. Would definitely return. Make sure you get up for the sunrise!
