Fendall Ice Cream is a shell of it’s former self. Housed in the back of what used to be it’s flagship location on the corner of 500 S. and 700 E. It was a familiar stop for those who rode the Trolley’s through Salt Lake City back in the 40’s.
While they don’t have an ice cream shop anymore you can still buy ice cream by the pint from their store and they are still supplying local grocer’s restaurants with their fine and unique flavors. I personally find the Green Tea and the Ginger ice cream to be my favorite flavors and regularly order those at Kyoto Restaurant.
When you drive by their featured flavors are named on the sign out front. Right now I think it is pumpkin. They do fresh peach in the summer and that is amazing!
