What’s not to love about a family business? Except that this business needs more family. Sweet Mr. Mehio is so kind, but it is time to retire, my man! The work on my True Religion jeans was not completed even though I gave Mr. Mehio 2 extra weeks to work on them. When I finally came to his store to get my jeans, he could not find them even though I had my ticket. There is no system at all. My jeans were buried under a pile of clothes or arguably other uncompleted orders. I had to keep prompting Mehio to keep looking for my jeans, I honestly think he just wanted me to shrug my shoulders, give up on my jeans and leave. I personally had to insist on going thru the piles of unfolded unaltered clothes to find my jeans. REALLY???

Such a cool dude! Reminds me of my grandpa. Super friendly. Does a great job with the alterations that will not break the bank. He hand stitched some of pants and they were perfect. Hard not to smile when you are talking to him.
Give him your business-​he totally deserves it. Also if you do, make sure you write a review. His business runs through word of mouth!

Mehio does a fantastic job! I took in a suit that had 2 pairs of suit pants, and an extra pair of slacks. So in total, a suit coat and 3 pants. These were all from my LDS mission, so they were pretty big and I wanted them slimmed to a skinny suit, which required a lot of material to be taken out. He did it all for $ 200. He did fantastic work. The fit on the coat and pants is perfect. There were just a couple of spots where his sewing came undone. Other than that, his work was fantastic. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Mehio alterations /​tailoring shop. I decided to try this place because I had trouble with Elegant Tailoring and wanted something better. The tailor at Elegant was grumpy, dismissive and takes a week to 10 days to get your stuff done.
Mehio Custom Tailoring is run by a guy named Farouk and he got his Design degree from a University in Paris in 1961. Farouk has his diploma on the wall and we got to talking and that was where he told me about his life in Paris. He is the nicest old guy and a real treat compared to Elegant. The best part is he had my stuff done the next day. He did an awesome job and I can’t say enough good stuff about Farouk and his shop. Highly recommend.
