I love coming here to do my laundry. Not only is it clean, its within walking distance of a lot of shops downtown. I can leave my stuff in the machines and feel good doing so, while I walk across the street and get a bite, or even shop. Heck! I can go next door to Wells Fargo and get a loan while I wait for my laundry.

I haven’t had to come to one of these since my college days when doing laundry seemed much cheaper than what Im noticing here(wow that was a while ago!). However, I am using a medium machine rather than the smallest ones. Overall this place is nice. It’s not crazy hot and there are plenty of machines for use. There are vending machines for snacks and drinks as well as the washing necessities. There are also plenty of tables for folding along with disinfecting wipes for you to clean them off prior to use. I’m not sure about the wifi here but I’m sure I will ask about it once I find the attendant. Overall, it’s close to my house and convenient. Winner in my book!

My first review in years. This review is for the dry cleaning and shirt laundering. I’ve used this place for a few years and consider them the best of a bad bunch of cleaners down town. Recently their employees have not been as good. The last few times including this morning, instead of greeting you when you drive around back, you have to go in and look for them. I decided to give up today. Was there around 8:35AM. Please go back to the way things were. Two stars because the dry cleaning is decent.

Pros: This laundromat is fairly clean, and had newer, nicer machines. There was also an attendant on hand to assist. There were plenty of places to sit, and several folding tables, with bleach wipes provided. Cons: Prices are a bit higher than other places in the area. It was warmer and more humid than comfortable. There was no posted information for a wireless connection. The worst part of my experience was a fellow watching me fold my laundry, who specifically told me he was waiting for me to get to my unmentionables. You may can’t avoid ALL the crazy people.

Moving into a unit without laundry was less than ideal, but we have come to prefer doing laundry at Village Cleaners! We can get everything done in ¼ the time it would take at home. The coin laundry area is always very clean. The washers and dryers appear to be serviced frequently. We love using the 50lb washers and dryers. We left our linen sheets last time but the staff so kindly put them in the dry cleaning office and kept them for us. It was such a relief since the sheets were brand new!

I would definitely recommend this laundry mat to anyone. It’s clean and it has help from mon-sat! They do have a dry cleaners here I believe it is and you can drop your clothe off to be washed. I don’t have any idea how much that is since I wash my own clothe. But 5 starts def last time I was here the young lady was very attentive in helping me out when I asked her a question. Happy and friendly place mall but clam during the week, but packed durning Sunday’s! So stay away ha if you wish to find a washer or dryer.

MISSINGCLOTHINGITEM I returned home with 90 $ worth of dry cleaning where my wife informed me her favorite J Crew dress was missing. I called Village and a girl named Emily helped track it down within an hour or so at a DIFFERENT location. She said they’d send it back to the Salt Lake location and I asked her if I could get a refund on the dress(12 $) for the trouble. She said that wouldn’t be a problem. When I went to pick up the dress a few hours later, a different girl was working and called the owner(Jeff) following my request for a refund. Jeff asked her to hand me the phone, and he timidly explained that he couldn’t do a refund but could give me 5 $ credit for a future visit. That won’t do me a whole lot of good because I don’t plan on returning. Nice people, clean shirts, POOR business skills. *FOLLOWUP: turns out they broke a button on my wife’s blouse.

Huge washers and dryers– they preform maintenance on all the machines regularly. Also if you go suing business hours of the dry cleaning service they can break larger bills for you! Me and my fiancé go here regularly and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are also clean!

Terrible! These guys are pretty expensive, so I expected reasonable quality. But they are terrible!!! Dropped off 4 pairs of pants; got 3 back with double and triple crease lines; on second try, got even more lines, when they were sent back specifically to straighten out the screwed up creases. I could do a better ironing job blindfolded. Ended up taking the pants to another place to get fixed.

They’re my new dry cleaners. I really liked Village when I went to their 400 E location for the first time. The employees are very nice and helpful. They have a frequent cleaner program where you get a percentage back after you’ve spent a couple hundred dollars(easy for someone who wears button down shirts and suits to work regularly). And I even turned in a shirt with awful ring around the collar, and it came back– wait for it – CLEAN! They have coupons on their website for special services. I brought the coupon in on my phone(without printing) and they accepted it. Awesome. Then they lost my tuxedo jacket. The tuxedo jacket I was married in. And then I liked them even more. Not, it’s not because I have dreaded nuptial memories(my wife and I are still happily married, and our wedding was a great party), it’s because of how Village Cleaners responded to the error. The worker apologized(which means a lot to me). He looked through every piece of clothing to make sure it wasn’t mislaid at the location. He took my phone number to call me as soon as it was found. And lo and behold, it was found, quickly. (The only thing they didn’t do was give me the dry cleaning for free. Thought I’m not sure, because they don’t often give you an itemized receipt. My only pet peeve.) People make mistakes. It happens. But it’s how you respond to a mistake that really counts with me. Village Cleaners did a great job, and I’m their permanent customer.

My fiancé and I have a lot of dry cleaning since we both work in an office(and I don’t like to iron) — service has always been great here, and you can drive up to the window without getting out of your car. There used to be a girl with blonde dreadlocks who was absolutely fantastic, but I haven’t seen her lately(the new girl there now is OK). Dry cleaning is always done properly and within 2 days, plus this place is open till 7PM which is super convenient. They have a frequent customer program that credits you $ 25 for every $ 250 spent, which is fantastic. I signed up for this a while ago, and spent over $ 500 there over time, but never got credit. I asked the new girl working what was up, and she couldn’t answer me. Frustrated, I emailed them and got a response right away… after 2 days, the issue was totally resolved and my account was credited. Such fabulous service and they definitely did their best to remedy the issue. I’ve also done laundry here… pretty standard, they have free wi-fi and a TV which makes the time pass. Look on their website for coupons too… definitely one of the better priced places in downtown, with great service.
