This visit the food was pretty sub-par. Very much hoping the dirty restroom is not an indication of the cleanliness level of the kitchen.

I really like this place. I’m not a big pizza fan, but whenever I’m in the mood this is my fav spot. The staff are friendly and the food is fresh. I don’t usually have to wait long to get my food. Today, I think I had the best pizza ever(apart from the ones I had in Italy). It was perfectly baked with a crispy but soft crust. When they first opened in Sammamish, my wife took our 4 year old daughter their for lunch. After she ordered, she realized that she’d left her purse at home. My daughter was cranky and hungry. So they gave both pizzas for free and even offered them free drinks. Which was awesome. My wife told them that she’d be back later that day to pay for everything. They insisted that she didn’t have to do that. Since that day, we’ve been loyal customers.

Decent service, food, and atmosphere. Sadly don’t see them work with the local high schools they have so proudly displayed with their logos in the restaurant. Seems like false advertising since many of their lunch time customers are students! I’d encourage owners and managers to work with the local schools for fundraising nights or rewards coupons. The employees are nice but seem to have inappropriate conversations with each other about co-workers and random stuff while helping the customer. The employees could definitely benefit from some customer service training.

I go to MOD all the time in California, and was excited to see one here. This one is a bit different, offering more items. There’s also a slightly different process where you are supposed to magically figure out all of your ingredients at the beginning of the line instead of walking through to watch them make it– although I saw that process change depending on who was making the pizza. Unfortunately, that meant I got a pizza with arugula instead of oregano, and all of the ingredients piled on in chunks — nothing uniform. They also offer a wider selection of drinks, including milkshakes. I ordered a mint chocolate chip that tasted like a milk base with huge mint chocolate chunks that could not go through the straw. Gave up after a while and tossed it. They were also out of some utensils, although someone did refill after I asked. The place was not crowded, and there were at least 5 – 6 staff available at all times, so sloppy execution overall. Based on prior reviews, it doesn’t appear that service has changed here at all. 4 stars for having gluten-free pizza, 1 for the fakeshake, and 2 for service.

We walked in 10 mins before closing on St. Patrick’s day fully expecting at least a little bit of a sigh if not a full out denial of service. Not so! We were welcomed with open arms & I’m so glad we decided to try this place out. I’ve noticed it while driving by & just thought eh, another pizza place. Mod pizza def surpasses any pizza place I’ve been to! To start, they offer pizzas with as many or as little toppings as you want for the same price. Seriously! Why don’t other pizza places offer the same?! To boot, their pizzas are ah-mazing. I’m talking a thin-ish, chewy crust & topped with super tasty & fresh ingredients. I don’t know how it can be any better. The 1st time, I ordered the Tristan w basil & chicken added. Delicious. 2nd time, I ordered the salad pizza with chicken Caesar salad, add pesto drizzle. I think next time, I’ll ask if they can add some mozzarella to the crust but it too was super tasty. I’m so glad we found this place & based on the rave reviews from my boys, we will definitely be back here on a somewhat regular basis!

Pizza!!! They have gluten free crust! You can get our pizza without red sauce or cheese! They have toppings like arugula and feta and herbs as an option. I love this place for a fast food pizza craving fix!

Good options, especially if you want to build your own pizza! Highly recommend it! The Sammamish branch is fully packed! If you are a vegetarian, then just build your own vege pizza!

The first time I visited MOD, I’d have given it a 5. It was a rainy football day and the place was all but empty. My pizza was wonderful. The second time was about a week later. It was dinner hour on a sunny day and there were about 15 people ahead of me in the line to get pizza. The wait to get to the front of the line was about 20 – 25 minutes. With no shades on the western-facing window, the sun was glaring into the workers’ eyes and they weren’t looking at the customers very much, I suspect, for fear of burning their retinas. I kid, but it was extreme. What a stupid plan to not shade those windows. The worker at the start of the pizza assembly line asked me if I knew what I wanted. From a list of 30 items turned around facing him, I honestly couldn’t tell him, so I said no, that I would need to go through the line and choose. He asked if I knew of items to get me started. Yes, and I gave him my items. He passed the order sheet on to the next person who thought those were the only things I wanted. Of course, I don’t want a red sauce and spinach ONLY pizza from a build your own bar. So I practically had to yell«WAIT!» at the server to get her attention, because she wasn’t looking at me(the glaring sun in her eyes) and it was loud enough in the restaurant that no doubt, they block extraneous customer sounds out so they can think. To complicate things, somehow the order sheet of a person named«Carol» had gotten left on the assembly table so she was making Carol’s order for me, and my mistaken«spinach-only pizza» for my husband. Without the glare of the sun in her eyes, she may have been able to look up and figure out that my husband’s order shouldn’t have a woman’s name. I didn’t get the items I wanted on my pizza and I had a miserable time getting what I did get. I had to be more assertive than I really should have needed to be to get a stupid pizza. If not for the 20 minutes I had waited, I’d maybe have given up and gone elsewhere. My pizza was bland, certainly not worth a 20 minute wait in line. I can’t imagine trying to order for a family in that scenario. From other Unilocal reviews, fairly serious issues of disorganization are a consistent theme at this chain. It’s not the staff’s fault. It’s a bad process. Going forward, it would make sense for the management to figure out how to fix it. For myself, I live about a mile from the restaurant, but I won’t be back. I have so many choices. Restaurants fall on their own swords all the time. I have to wonder how long people will retain patience for this place.

We frequent this place a lot as it is fast and quite good. Gluten free pizza dough is delicious and our 6 yo will eat his dinner!

Let me start by saying my family loves MOD pizza. They’re fast, tasty, done my way and they’re pretty cheap. Their pizzas get 5 stars. However, I prefer the MOD Pizza in the Highlands much more. This place has more seating and isn’t as packed, which is great, but the staff here didn’t impress me at all. The lady taking the pizza orders decided to write everyones orders down on their paper including ours(3 of us) and the group of 6 behind us before making up the pizzas. It turned into such a confusing mess with the kids behind us running in front of us to add their toppings that it was just nuts. Then, our kid spilled half of his lemonade when we were sitting and I asked for a towel so that WE could wipe up the mess. It took them forever to come out with one and in the end we cleaned up most of the mess with paper towels. When the kid finally came out with a towel, he grumbled about how it was now going to be sticky bc we spilled lemonade and not water. I’m sorry, the next time we spill stuff, we will make sure it’s only water we spill. Don’t think we will visit this location as often as the one in the Highlands.

The server could not take my custom order. Twice made the same mistake and blamed me for not ordering correctly. Tried to raise this at the counter and it was totally ignored. Will never eat here again!

I really like the pizza, salads, etc and are normally fairly quick with orders. Rating would be higher. I used to go there quite often. However, what keeps us from going(other than takeout) is the incredibly awful noise levels… partly due to high unfinished ceiling. They also contribute to the noise level with staff that frequently shouts out greetings, etc.(which is part of their style) and if I’m not mistaken radio music that is often turned up too high. For us it would be a fine pizza place; but the noise really keeps us away. There are other Mod Pizza locations(Redmond) I like that don’t seem to have near the noise problems. Finally, they have often got my order wrong or not placed it in the oven causing a lengthy wait. To their credit, they most always offer an additional food item or some type of credit

Love the low prices. It’s great for both salads and pizza! As many toppings on either for no extra charge! My only complaint is their mozzarella tastes, off… Almost fake. Friendly, accommodating staff and very clean.

There is every other pizza place and then there is MOD. If you have never been to mod before then you are missing out. The pizza is thin crust personal style pizza. One of the things that makes this place one of my favorites is that I can build my pizza just the way I want it and the price stays the same regardless what I put on it. On top of being completely customizable it’s pretty fast. Since I was new to MOD the manager was nice enough to let me try there dessert pizza which was delicious. I have to say I’m hooked. Everything I have had here in the last couple weeks has been great I’m a new regular. The people remember me the service is great and the resturant has always been clean. I’ll be back, keep up the good work! :)

We’re addicted to this place. Not only is the pizza great the service is wonderful. They listen and think about what you want. Isn’t that all we want? For someone to listen. I brought my parents here once and they couldn’t resist putting everything on the pizza. The more the better, ya know — we’re Asian. It didn’t turn out that great but they felt like they got a good deal. Stick with a few toppings and it’ll be great!

All the boys over here are soooo handsome I barely even go there for the pizza! I specifically love the manager Chris he always is very in charge of his staff and people behind the counter seem to really respect him. And this shows as this place is crazy clean even with those crazy rushes they get. I think everyone should try the Olivia with balsamic vinegar sauce and chicken ohhh it’s a princess pizza forsure. There’s grumpy lady that’s always there. I think she might be the owner? Beware.

Pizza my way!!! Why would you give any less than 5!?? You pick your sauce, toppings, cheese!?! The best! Even have shakes, knots, salads with your choice of greens, veggie, cheese, meats, or dressing. The staff is nice happy and pleasant. 5 solid stars. I’m a regular at MODS.

This has been a welcome addition to sammamish. The staff is friendly and the pizza is fresh. I like that it’s artisanal style. It’s crispier and much more fresh. The only thing I would change would be the noise. Since the ceiling is so high, it can get really loud when there are kids.

The pizza is pretty meh. The 7 buck salad is better than most 15 buck salads. Also they have great ice tea selection of organics etc.

It’s basically Chipotle but with pizza instead of burritos. Choose your own a adventure and they cook it in a jiffy. The #4 and #5 pizzas are really good. It’s very, very loud inside and chaos can reign supreme. I would NOT recommend it for date night.
