If you have your heart set on having a sweet, little hillside or a dramatic sunset welcoming you as you come through your front door, the Beck Gallery is well worth a visit. Though they specialize in plein-​air works from the early 20th century, they have an eclectic offering (mostly paintings, and some asian artifacts.) This is a family biz — currently in its second generation. The owner is very knowledge and low key (yeah, you can actually go in an ENJOY looking at art without pressure to buy!) Give ‘em a looksee. A great antique mall is just a couple doors down, so it’s a wonderful way to spend an hour, or two.
