This restaurant by far is the best I’ve visited. I was greeted and seated in a respectable amount of time. The servers are very polite and the food is spectacular. Take my word for it, your experience here should be a good one.

Worst food ever, the portions of food get smaller and the prices higher. Never ever seen a salad, that is so little it lays flat on the plate and they actually have the nerve to charge $ 6.95. The only reason they stay open is, there is no other place to eat. The babies high chair had crap all over it!

I recently became in charge of hosting a brunch and after the past wonderful experiences I’ve had here for private parties, I knew this was the place we wanted to have our event. Working with Erin was incredible from start to finish. The price was very reasonable to reserve the space and for the buffet brunch menu we had selected. Also, we found out that we had some vegetarians attending and she made adjustments to the menu for us. When we arrived the back patio was already set up beautifully and all we needed to do was set out some minimal decorations and relax. The food was delicious! We enjoyed a buffet of french toast, bacon, two types of scrambled eggs, potatoes and fruit. The service was phenomenal as always. Servers circulated constantly refilling drinks and asking if we needed anything else. In fact, when the servers found out that one of our guests was allergic to mushrooms she actually brought some scrambled eggs without mushrooms to her so that she could still enjoy the eggs! So kind! Payment was easy and they actually did separate checks even though we were a larger group. If you are planning a bridal shower, brunch or tea party of sorts, I highly recommend Anne Marie’s. They are spectacular, know how to handle large groups and are incredibly accommodating. I can’t say thank you enough!

Definitely wasn’t impressed. Went on Saturday for what was advertised as «brunch.» It took our waitress a while initially greet us. I ordered a side of sausage since non of there entrées seem to have any protein with the meals. A little odd, but my fiancé and I stayed. When our order did arrive our waitress told me, «oh we’re all out of sausage.» I then asked, what other meats do you have, she replied, «none we’re all out of everything.» When the bill arrived I still saw an up charge for sausage, I asked, «could you remove that from the bill?» And she stated«I don’t know if I cans since you ordered it.» Overall wasn’t pleased, zero sense of urgency, will not be returning.

Wonderful ambiance, too bad the food didn’t match. Service was great though. However, the bread tabled was mostly stale, the quiche was too mushy a consistancy(maybe just my preference?) The soup lukewarm, even after heating, but it did have a nice flavor. Maybe stick with coffee here & dessert?

Today was my bridal shower, held at Anne Marie’s. Let me put it this way: I am still in tears. Today… well, today was a fairytale. Almost 3 months ago, my MOH came upon Anne Marie’s while looking for a shower venue and she fell in love. It fit the theme(Jane Austen Tea Party) as if it was made for it. Some people call it chance, but we call it a blessing. My MOH and the manager, Erin, went on to coordinate and design a shower so beautiful that I was reduced to tears the moment I arrived. Pictures simply do not do it justice. The outside area was gorgeous and well maintained, the food was delicious, the tea was hot, and the mimosas were a treat. I am forever grateful!

Food was wonderful, staff was very friendly. They were very willing to substitute mushrooms for ham in their special crêpe to make it vegetarian for me. The only beef i had with the place was that it was not very clean.

This little place is right next to the botanical gardens. It has a nice garden in front too. The building is very cute and looks old. The staff was very friendly. Coffee was ok. I ordered the garden scramble. It came with potatoes and fruit. It was delicious and had great flavor. They also serve you fresh bread with a strawberry butter. The bread was very fresh. My bf got the French toast with sausage. His French toast was amazing. The bread was very fresh and just delicious.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the Denver Scramble for brunch and it was the perfect portion with fruit and potatoes. I went here expecting to pay a good amount of money because of location. But the prices were amazing! They also have bucket mimosas for $ 14! After we are we decided we wanted to walk around the gorgeous Botanical Garden which was an excellent choice. Great food, great service. Couldn’t ask for more.

I put 5 stars because there was nothing negative to say. It is a cute location and the service was fast and friendly. They serve this fresh bread they make daily with this strawberry cream cheese like dip. I ordered the jalapeño battered French toast that came with eggs, sausage, mushrooms, red peppers, onion, potatoes, and fruit. Everything was delicious and the jalapeño gave it a unique flavor. It wasn’t spicy, so don’t be afraid to try something new. I have no regrets on my Sunday brunch here.

Superb experience. Smaller groups can sit inside, but larger groups can sit outside under a canopy with ceiling fans. It was a really beautiful day that we went and we had 14 in our group so we sat outside. Our group had various drinks, including white and red sangria, peach belini’s, and mimosas. I had the special of the day which was asparagus, chopped ham in a crêpe covered with an awesome hollandaise sauce. It also came with a side of chopped roasted potatoes drizzled with butter. It was about $ 10 — not bad for great quality food!

This was my first visit to the botanical gardens, I went to take bridal pictures with a friend and after all that walking I was hungry, so when I saw the restaurant we all decided to give it a try. I had the chile chicken with Cesar salad. It was delicious with the right amount of heat to it. Waiter even brought over his award winning hot sauce for me to try and yes it was hot. My friend got the meatloaf and it was a huge portion which was lucky for me because she shared it with all of us. They have a brunch menu on the weekends and my hubby had the French toast with fruit. This place is a must try. Not your average park food. It was delicious and we both dined for about 25. Dollars.

This is an incredible place to eat. The food is top notch and incredibly reasonable. We went for brunch on a Sunday. It was very quiet, we sat outside next to the botanical garden, and our server Pierre was so much fun. The thought that went into the making and quality of our food and the food we saw others around us ordering was impressive. For example my side salad was warm spinach with fresh herbs chopped up and crispened with bacon. I had Brie, mushroom, and spinach quiche and my husband ordered the bistro Benedict. Would order them both again in a heartbeat! Wish we lived here so we could come back every weekend!

The two star is for the service, only, but the food I had was a one! Here’s why: We arrived a 2:30, so I appreciate the hostess allowing us to dine, seeing as they close at 3. The waiter was efficient and got us our food quickly. The salmon bisque or chowder(couldn’t tell) was easily the most disgusting thing I have ever received at a restaurant. It was grey. There was NO salmon. The bowl reeked of oil and the top layer of the soup was composed of such. YUCK. I really don’t know that I could ever give it another go.

I planned one of my friends birthday brunch here. They were so helpful and nice, they set up a table in the corner for us(to give us some privacy) and also gave us a cake table for the birthday cake I brought. We had 7 ladies total and ordered 2 of the mimosa buckets(bottle of champagne and a carafe of orange juice). The majority of us ordered the quiche which was delicious. I had the ham and cheese one and loved that the crust was a little sweet and not too thick. Our waitress never rushed us and everyone was so helpful throughout the entire reservation/setup process. Definately a great brunch! Sad it was raining so we couldnt enjoy the gardens but I will be back for sure.

I selected the Carriage Bistro for our Women’s Garden group luncheon. I was so pleased with the way our table was set. It was draped with a white table cloth, green cloth napkins and beautiful flower arrangements which included baby’s breath and pink and white lilies. We were seated outside under their tent as requested for our reservation of 8. Each of the ladies ordered something different and everyone spoke about liking the variety of choices on their menu. I ordered the Vegetable soup-Garbanzo verde and the Garden scramble which was amazingly delicious(vegetables only). It came with perfectly spiced red potatoes, skin on and a side dish of fruit which included pineapple, honey dew, cantaloupe and grapes. I feel a little upset that I did not write down our servers name, and that I lost my receipt because she was truly wonderful. She personalized our experience and knew the menu so that she could recommend options to the vegetarians at our table. I highly recommend the Carriage Bistro to anyone considering having a group function. WE were very satisfied!

This place is just fantastic, a perfect brunch location hidden away in a beautiful location . Pros: a real inspired and adventurous menu, local and handmade items, the strawberry butter. The bistro Benedict is a must eat dish. Do you like brisket? Are you a fan of egg joy? What about adding some spice to your pancake syrup? Eat here baby. Great and attentive waitstaff and a chef staff that really cooks. If you live in San Antonio and haven’t been here, do yourself a favor and ball out . Hot Fire Tip: get the build your own mimosa special … Cons: none. Perfect.
