Flat Dr. Pepper. The burger was REALLY greasy and when we tried to swap out the flat dr. Pepper for something else the lady behind the register wearing a black polo gave us attitude and said «We just changed it 10 minutes ago.» okay well its still flat. Instead of being rude like I’m asking for your PERSONAL drink, just replace it and make the customer happy. There were 2 babies in there that both were crying pretty loudly, not the business’ fault but it didn’t make lunch any better.
There was one positive to this experience. The girl who took our order, she did not have a name tag on but she had on a red babe’s shirt with black glasses, kinda curly hair and it was in a ponytail in a baseball hat, she had on black shoes too. She was the nicest girl. She was patient with us both when we were ordering bc we had no idea what to get and took awhile. She knew we wanted to sit away from the screaming child so she went and wiped down a booth just for us. Very good customer service and was so kind. She was the only thing great about Babes.

Was first one in line 10 minutes before a big party and had to wait 30 minutes to get my food. It turned out my food was just sitting on the counter getting cold. My wings were undercooked on the inside. My food was cold by the time I got home and i live less than 5 minutes away.

If there was a negative rating, I would make it. Purchased a mushroom burger that came with a side of hair. This hair was long and wrapped inside the burger. Luckily I didn’t take a bite. Went to the manager and all she did was yell at the cook to make another. Was there with family and so just waited. No sorry and not even a comp for the burger. Just another rushed one. Ate and should have known better. Got food poisoning. Was sick for days! Never come here!

Consistently good. Had dinner with my kids there tonight. Had a bacon cheeseburger, and my son and daughter both had cheeseburgers. I go to this location and to the one in Helotes. Always receive a great burger.

Really did not care for this place at all. I ordered chicken strips and my boyfriend ordered a burger.
The chicken strips were very greasy and the batter was falling off the chicken. He said his burger was fine, but it did look underwhelming. The French fries were very soggy and they were that translucent color. I got the impression the oil needed to be changed.
I would not come back here.
There are many other burger places that have better offerings.
Sam’s burger joint has one of the best burgers I’ve had in SA. Hopdoddy is opening at the end of April. Tycoon flats is great also.

They burgers are alright except when they fall apart in your hands because they are so fuk**ing greasy. But none the less they burgers are good I went there 2 nights ago and had the double cheese burger ask for a small fry got a large fry. The girl at the front seemed like she didn’t give a fuc*K about her job. She doesn’t know how to take orders.

If I could give a 0 I would. The food is decent but the service is the worst. First they say a kids meal is free, then they charge for two then one. They over charge for everything and when you ask questions they get upset. I’m so upset with how they handled everything. I would go to any other location but this one

The best old fashioned burger! I miss the days when burgers had a taste that I remember as a child! Burgers were juicy and just scrumptious! Milkshake was delicious and kid friendly! Loved the service and look toward to coming back when in San Antonio!

Burnt food. I really don’t need to say more but I will. When I showed the young lady at the counter one of the cooks said to the other, «He’s complaining.» I’ll take that as admission of substandard work.

Don’t serve burnt food.

I have the entertainment book app and couldn’t figure how to get the coupon to load. Jeremy, the manager that night, could still read/​verify the coupon and gave it to my boyfriend and I. I really appreciate that! The burgers are always delicious, I like this location better then the Fredericksburg one even though that’ll always be the original. Only thing I was disappointed on was the TVs were broken and there was a Spurs game that night. Despite that the quiet atmosphere was quaint. Whenever I’m craving a juicy burger I always head to Babes!

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE service. We went kind of late, 10:20 so we asked if they were still serving and they replied that they were. So as we walk in the cooks were sighing and making us feel unwelcome from the get go. The lady taking our order greets us with «What do y’all want?», no hello or proper greeting. Strike three was when another lady came and rudely asked «this is to-​go, right?». At that point we asked if we were too much of an inconvenience we could leave, they agreed that we were. DO NOT GO HERE! The one on Fredricksburg serves right until close and are always welcoming.

First and last time I go here. This place is disgustingly dirty. No tables were bussed and they had nobody cleaning this place. Lucky I gave 1 star. I’ll never go back!

Now I have had an amazing burger in my life so almost all burger place pale in comparison.
However I don’t rate my burgers off that once in a lifetime burger.
So it’s plus half a star.
Now this place is not extraordinary by any means.
It’s a very basic and simple burger.
But similar to pizza it’s not terrible. Just lackluster.
Now I have not found a burger place that’s a reasonable price as well as prepared well.
This place doesn’t anything that makes it amazing. The service was good and the French fries were tasty but nothing amazing. It’s a good place to get a simple burger.

I called on an order and first asked for chicken strips. The server asked if I wanted regular or spicy. I asked for spicy, thinking they would be like the regular except spicy. She asked if I wanted gravy or ranch. I asked for gravy. When I I got in the car I checked my order and realized that the spicy was actually tossed in spicy buffalo sauce… which makes me wonder why anyone would dip that in gravy. The fries were cold and greasy, as we’re the onion rings. They both tasted like they had been sitting there a long time. I was told my order would be ready in 10 – 15 minutes and got there 8 minutes later, and was waited on immediately. You would think the fries and onion rings would have been at least warm.

The one in Huebner is the best place to go. The others are dirty and the manager lets his friends cut in line
This one is awesome, enjoyed the food, especially the onion rings and company. Staff is very pleasant. Stayed here for several hours it was so relaxing.

This restaurant cook staff is terrible and Rude! Will Never go back to this location.

This place used to be a 5 star to me, don’t know what happened .
Burgers used to be the best. Pizza was awesome now blah… The only thing left worth getting is still the mushrooms with ranch. Wonder how long it will take for them to mess that up!!!

I had a Fish Burger with hand cut French fried potatoes, one of the lunch specials. It was very good. Came with a generous serving of tartar sauce. (Picture submitted). If they had brought my food to the table, would’ve been 5 stars! When I got there, only 5 or 6 tables were in use. When I left the place was full. Good sign of a good place to eat!

I just moved to San Antonio and some friends invited me to this burger joint last month. I really enjoyed my meal.
Nice atmosphere with outdoor seating option.
You stand in line to place order then wait for them to call your number. Burgers are made fresh. Everything tastes fresh. Unlimited refills on drinks.
I will definitely go back here for a great, made to order burger and homemade fries.

Really good burger and fries! Made while you wait so it’s fresh and hot!!! Good flavor! The place is clean and comfortable.
Tons of bottled beer to choose from. 3 flat screens with sports in. When I ordered a cheeseburger, they said mayo, lettuce and tomato ok?
I will eat here again.
