cheap beer, pool table, and a jukebox. good place to knock back a few and listen to some tunes. however, avoid this place on weekends unless you like 20 something college kids wearing too much cologne/perfume. It gets pretty crowded and full of club hip hop nonsense pretty quickly on fridays and Saturday’s.

It’s a dive bar! It was pretty empty at 5:02pm on Saturday when we happened to walk in … And what time did happy hour begin? 5:00pm on Saturday for 60 minutes! That’s right … It’s a Happy HOUR, folks! However, it’s also $ 1.00 well drinks for that ONEHOUR. WERETHEYWEAK. Sure! But they were A DOLLAR! We both had THREE! ANDTHEYHAVE2 pool tables and tvs on which they are willing to find whatever you want to watch!

They have a pool table and $ 1 wells for an hour, «power hour» I think they call it. Only cool thing about the place. Drinks are kinda weak but I only go when they are $ 1…

This bar has cheap drinks, but some of the bartenders really suck! I actually experienced cattiness from a bartender because the guy I went with had previously hooked up with one of her friends.(Also a bartender) The bartender was very rude, made my drinks taste like crap, and made it seem like I was a regular, when in fact it was only my 4th time there ever. It was really strange and highly unprofessional. I have ptosis which causes my eyes to appear droopy & she even commented on my eyes insinuating that I was high. So yeah if it wasn’t for that I’d say go for the cheap drinks. If you’re a guy just don’t hook up with the bartenders if you ever plan on bringing another girl, they obviously can’t handle it. I’ll definitely be going to the higher end bars from now on though. You get what you pay for!

Just to let you know the Unilocal map on this is wrong, not near Alamo Ranch but closer to UTSA and La Cantera area but still off of 1604.

Went on a Tuesday night. $ 2ANYBEER. Not just your mass produced beer, but your craft beer as well. Well hellooo — a bar after a my own liver. We got there at about 8 and there were about 15 people in this place, all from what it appeared to be from UTSA. Yup. College bar. The staff was friendly and fun. Enter 9 o’clock hour. Scores of early 20 somethings/college students just appeared out of nowhere and immediately proceed to the shots. Not one round, but at least 2. Yeah. This was going to start get pretty crazy in such a tight spot. I don’t mind the crazyness. Hell, I’ll lead the charge but when they show up and their B.O. smells like comino mixed with paprika, then yeah, San Anto tenemos un pinche problema. Anyway, we 86’d that joint and headed out to a country bar the clientele smelled like a lightly used ashtray. Hey, you can’t win them all but would definitely return… alot earlier or maybe when I’m numb drink and don’t mind the smells.

Nice laid bar bar right by my apt. Drinks are cheap and not watered down, music is good too. Crowd is pretty laid back and chill, casual dress code. I like to go here better than all the other snobby bars in this area lol

Horrible!!! Tried this bar two times and it is absolutely unacceptable. BOTHTIMES my boyfriend and I were ignored by the bartenders so they could have a hangout sesh with their bff’s. I felt like I was bothering them. I work in the service industry and makes me cringe when someone ignores a customer! To the business owner: is that who you want representing your bar around a college campus?! I will never return. And I will make sure to tell MYBFF’S not to go either. Get it together.

How did I attend UTSA for four years and never check this place out? Not really my scene anymore but I will likely brave it again since it conveniently located on my way home from work and have pretty good drink specials. Stay late enough and you may get to see some drunk ho passing out or falling down or throwing up or some combination of the three. That always makes for some good entertainment.

I’ve been here a few times since i’m walking distance from it. This place has better pizza than any chain restaurant. The food was very inexpensive when the place started up, but slowly they’ve gotten more expensive. it’s still worth it, i just hope it doesn’t go up any further… It doubles as a bar, and they stop making food at 10 to accommodate. Personally i wish i could get pizza until 2am. as a college student living nearby this would be this place’s ace in the hole. they are building a patio at the moment, and judging from the lack of noise from outside my window, not working on weekends. it will help this place attract more people as well as give the small place some more capacity.

Wow, this place is simple but the drinks were dirt cheap and strong! Wells were $ 2 and the shooters were like $ 3. Did not try the food but the service was pretty good for a bar. It’s small and the kitchen closes at 10pm but after that the place transforms; like a wino Cinderella. A DJ comes in, tables are removed for a dance floor and this place is bumpin’ with those bang-for-your-buck drinks. A must try, best new secret spot.
