I haven’t been here in a few years, so be sure to factor that in, as things may have changed: I’ve had to move back and forth to/from San Antonio a few times due to military assignments. I loved this place. It was just off post and the beers were super cheap. I actually hung a dollar bill on the ceiling with my name and my friends names back around 2005. I went back in 2010 and it was exactly where I put it! It’s a typical dive bar, plus it’s got pool. The bartenders have always been friendly when my buddies and I were there and the locals were, as well. Mixed crowd. If there are younger people in there, they are most likely military. To the lady who posted that she didn’t know about any juke box, there’s actually one in the picture you posted, on the left side of the bar against the back wall.

For a local dive bar, I will give it 3 stars but I really want to take it down one because in the City of Terrell Hills, smoking is still allowed in bars thus the reason my friend and her friends chose the location. Oh and because you can bring in your own bottle. My Coors Lite was $ 2.50. Like any good dive bar, I found pool, darts, and a regular crowd where everyone knows everyone. Unfortunately I don’t remember music or if they had a juke box. I know that’s important factor in a dive bar. I guess I was enjoying the company of old friends to even notice. I have lived in the hood since 95 so I can now check Ebb Tide off of my list.
