I have been eating here for 30+ years. First of all any non-chain restaurant that lasts for 30 years has to be good. #1 Mongolian Beef man up and ask Grandpa(cook) to make it hot. #2 the best ever Rangoon’s. It’s not even close. #3 Special egg roll #4 house fried rice I just laid out a meal for 2 that is worth the trip

Where do I start? I had never been to this restaurant before today, however; after reading their reviews(4 stars at the time) I was more then willing to give them a try. This is a very«hole in the wall» restaurant and admittedly that is probably the best description for this place. The atmosphere is nostalgic of the American-Chinese restaurant boom of the 80’s as nothing seems to have been updated since that time. Tables, booths, chairs, and perhaps even the flooring. We were immediately seated upon arrival but after looking at the menu decided to take our food to go. The place was pretty quiet and my coworker and I have the tendency to be loud talkers. When placing our order; I had the lunch special for Friday(beef and broccoli) which was very«gummy» to say the least. The only way I could describe the beef is to say at one point it was breaded and then at another point tossed in brown sauce. The egg roll that came with my meal was more like a burrito and very greasy inside. I added the egg drop soup which was thick in consistency and had chunks of ham. The«chips» that I order with the soup were fried noodles from a can and not the fried wontons you would get at other restaurants. The rice can only be described as Mexican-Chinese rice. My coworker order then sesame chicken which came with soup and tea for $ 8.95 but was denied the soup and tea because we decided on Togo rather than dining in; however the price was not adjusted. More than likely I will not be returning. The portions were huge for the price; however this is a prime example of quantity over quality.

The service is good and the portions are large. However the food is very bland and drenched in grease. We observed a waiter carrying the side condiments with his fingers in the sauces. Overall place is very dirty and would not return.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. When I got here I wasn’t really impressed with the appearance of the place both outside and in. Doesn’t seem like it’s been updated/remodeled since god knows when. But I figured I’m here for the food no for the atmosphere. As I waited for about 20 seconds to be seated I glanced at a dish that came out the kitchen to be delivered to a waiting table, and just by the appearance of the dish which looked mouth watering I immediately began to forget about the appearance of the place. We ordered crab Rangoon appetizers which this is the first time that I have gotten crab Rangoons with s decent amount of actual crab meet in it and not just stuffed with cream cheese and crab flavoring. For our meals we got fried rice with pepper steak and sesame chicken. It was 4 of us in our group, we all ate until we were full and still had more food left to take home. Everything was flavorful and tasted fresh. Would definitely be here again.

Our family has been coming here for at least 30 years! The lunch specials are a steal and my husband and I love to come for dinner. We usually order 2 entrees and eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner the next day as well. The sesame chicken and general tso are fantastic and their sweet and sour is great as well. The egg rolls are the best in town and their taste is reminiscent of dumplings we had while in Beijing. Crab meat rangoons are a must as is the pork fried rice. I’ve honestly never had a bad meal here and everyone I introduce to this place gets hooked after one meal. Fantastic family owned establishment :)

I come here at least once a week and sometimes twice. I get anywhere from 1 – 5 plates each time. Almost always great food and decent service. The fried rice is some of the best I’ve ever had. Lemon chicken is great. And the lunch specials are perfect if your on a budget. Looks like a hole in the wall because it is. Come one here for about 12 years now. Call ahead for pickup or sit down either way your in for some great food. Also love that the entire family works here and as far up as a great grandfather and the food shows it.

We discovered this place recently. It’s very old school Chinese-American fare. We had the dinner special for two which runs about $ 9 a person and we ate off of it for three days! The food was fresh and flavorful, portions are enormous. The décor is very old school and it looks like it hasn’t changed much in 40 years, but they do the food very well. We’ll definitely be back.

They are amazing! The food is always fresh and the prices I think are best in town. they always give my son a fortune cookie when he comes in here(he’s two) they have a area that is perfect for like a sinner party or something. it’s quite secluded. will ALWAYS be a regular customer. =)

This place is great! I came on a Thursday and had the special roasted chicken and a tea. The portion was huge, over flowing. Be nice and clean up the rice when it spills onto the table because there is no room to scoop it without it falling off. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was half a chicken I think. The whole staff was friendly and attentive. Grand total before tip $ 6.86

The best I can say for panda Inn is — its not the worst Chinese place I’ve eaten in. We ordered Almonds chicken with veggies and chicken chowmein during lunch hours. Feels like a typical old Chinese restaurant with lots of red interior. Overall it’s Ok if you are really hungry and have nowhere else to go. As for us, we won’t be going back. I’d rather go to Panda Express.

My mother likes this place so we went there and It was not so good, our waitress was very nice and I was happy with the service. The problem was the dish I ate, the shrimp taste rotten with a decaying fish smell so much so that it was bitter with a strong tart taste as did the mushrooms I had to spit in to my napkin a few times and the pork was hard and taste of freezer burn. This is too bad because the overall flavor of the sauce was great ! It’s just that it lacked quality it the meats. The wonton soup on the other hand maybe the best I’ve had pretty darn good !

All I can say is everything was delicious! I would recommend this place over and over again. The lemon chicken hands down the best! Also, the orange chicken made me smile. It was all good! The service was quick, and the staff very friendly. First time here but will be back.

I visited during lunch on a Thursday and it was crowded. I seated myself, waited a couple of minutes and the waiter promptly came over to take my order. I ordered the Chinese Roast Chicken(Bbq chicken). Along with tea. It was very well seasoned, tender and quite a nice meal for under $ 10.00. I will go again!!!

Just had lunch here for the first time. My coworkers and I got our order to go so this review is only about the food. The crab Rangoon is alright, though lacking in the sweetness one might expect. The egg rolls are fantastic. Judging by the slightly uneven shape of some of them, I have the feeling they are actually made in-house. Packed with just the right ratio of veggies and meat, and not a total grease ball like many I’ve had at similar establishments. I had the sesame chicken, which came with aforementioned egg roll and fried rice. The portion sizes of all our orders were huge, I couldn’t even finish half of mine in one sitting. The orders were all accurate and the food arrived piping hot. The flavor was about average, nothing special. I suppose I’ll try something different next time, because my friends who got the house Lo Mein and lemon chicken were pretty happy with their food. Bottom line: No major complaints, but nothing to write home about. EDIT: Ok so I know this sounds unusual, but I felt I had to share. As I mentioned before, I could barely finish half of my order in the first sitting. Then, after finishing the rest of my 12 hour shift, I decided to reheat the leftovers for dinner. I don’t know why or how, but the leftovers tasted way better than the food did fresh. That sounds backasswards, I know. But I just felt I had to update and add an extra star!
