Edible Arrangements

I ordered a surprise gift for my best friend’s birthday, to be delivered to her office. I did not get any notification that it wasn’t actually delivered. When I called bc she had not said anything to me about it, I was told that they had attempted to deliver at 5:30pm and the office was closed. I placed this order 4 days ago!!! Why did you wait until 5:30 to deliver? Very disappointed and will not be using EA again.

We were very disappointed with the large fruit basket I ordered for my wife’s birthday on August 3, 2014. First of all, the basket was not very large and cost me an outrageous cost of $ 69 plus tax. I picked up the basket at the Culebra Road store on August 2, 2014 at 10 AM and returned it to the store around the same time on August 3, 2014. We found only the pineapple and the red grapes. The cantaloupe, honey dew melon and the strawberries were tasteless. The clerk at the store was quite apologetic, especially after my wife asked him to taste the melon. He agreed it was not good quality. He found mold on the strawberries, which should not have occurred because the basket had been in our refrigerator for the 24 hours we kept the basket. My wife asked if the staff tasted the fruit they bought. The clerk replied that they did random tasting, in other words, they did not sample everything when they first got it. We have had much better fruit from WalMart, for a fraction of the price that Edible (Inedible?) Arrangements charges. I gave online feedback on the company’s website. It was stated that the store manager would be notified. I have no idea if he was or not since we never received a response

I often use EA for client gifts in California and they are always wonderful! But this particular store in SA, I would avoid. Ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my mother for Mother’s Day and it never got there. I’ve been refunded my money, but Mother’s Day was ruined and nothing was ever done to make amends.
UPDATE: An hour after I posted this review, my mother received her arrangement plus an «I’m sorry» teddy bear all free of charge. Thank you Loop 1604 store for stepping up to make amends for your mistakes. My mother’s response: «Well, it was worth the wait!» Maybe the person who you are using for delivery is not in their right area of giftedness? Maybe they should be encouraged to move on to a job more suitable for their talents.

Not delivered in time and that is what the delivery charge is for ! What’s the point if your valentine doesn’t get their valentines present until the day after… Pathetic

If I had to describe my experience with Edible arrangement in two words, they would be «simple» and «expensive.» I ordered online the night before and the website had me pick out an arrangement and then choose a pickup date/​time. I arrived about 10 – 15 minutes before my pickup time and was delighted to see my order sitting in the fridge out front with my name on it, versus coming in and seeing someone trying to scramble to get it together while I wait.
The baskets are really nice, the fruit is mouth-​watering and the chocolate-​covered strawberries and apples are blissful! The only thing I couldn’t get myself to take a liking to were the chocolate-​covered bananas. Awkward best describes the taste and texture and someone should surely go back to the drawing board on this one.

I have ordered from EA many times, usually from the Stone Oak store which I have ner had a problem. This time a friend ordered an arrangement in the morning, it was then put on their delivery truck at 2pm… at 9:40pm they finally delivered it. When I called a woman told me yes, their driver had it for 7 hours and gave me a BS story about how the driver had to drive Boerne to Helotes then to my house.
WE COULD HAVE DRIVEN ACROSS THE CITY 10 TIMES IN 7 HOURS!!! INCLUDING RUSH HOUR!!!
Folks…Please…Please…Please…NEVER USE THIS EDIBLE ARRANGEMENTS… IF YOU WANT GREAT SERVICE YOU CAN COUNT ON GO TO THE STONE OAK STORE!!!
