Express Lube

I went here to get an oil change and wound up pretty disappointed. When I pulled in, I was asked which oil change package I wanted. I requested the Premium Synthetic Blend, which was the minimum package (my car requires synthetic) at 21.99. I went next door to grab a bite, and when I returned they informed me that they didn’t carry the oil weight in the oil type I requested for my car, and that I could put in a different weight of the same type but that it would void my warranty. I wasn’t going to do that, so I went with the other option, which was to go with a full synthetic at 61.99. I would have left and gotten my oil change at another business that actually carried my oil weight (and not just purported to), but I had already waited 30 minutes and needed to return to work. I did not want to put more mileage on my car without an oil change. It angered me that the employee who took me in didn’t tell me right away that they did not carry my weight in the oil I requested. I ended up spending way more money than I needed to or wanted to. I would suggest making sure you are getting what you ask for BEFORE they pull the car in to begin work.
EDIT: I realized my review was a little harsh. The employee I dealt with was VERY nice, and the service was fairly quick. 5 stars if I didn’t experience the problem that I mentioned.

These guys have always been spot on. They’re quick, professional, and look out for the customer.
I always follow their recommendations, and trust that they’re not just trying to pull a fast one on the customer.
They walk me through the whole process, and show me exactly why they recommend the course of action they’re advocating with their service.
The prices are fair too!
I love the fact that they have a clean, air conditioned room to wait for your car to be done. Soap operas play on the TV, and they offer free coffee.
I’ve never had to wait long for service, and they’ve always done right be me. I’ll keep coming back.

In response to the owner’s comment: I was not too unhappy with being failed because of the belt. In fact I was happy to know that something on my car needed fixin. It was the lack of friendliness and forgetting to give me back my insurance card that upset me. Employees in a customer service field are supposed to help customers and make them feel welcome and relaxed. That did not happen here.
