This is the place in San Antonio to play magic at. Tournaments are well run and prize support is amazing. There are usually tournaments everyday that it is open, and if nothing’s going on, you can usually ask and they will get something started if enough people are down for it. They also have a wide variety of product, ranging all the years of mtg. They also sell product for other games too, like kaijudo and the like. This is my preferred place to play at when I’m looking for a tournament.

Located in a tucked corner of a little shopping strip stuck between much bugger sister versions up and down nw military this card shop is small and serviceable for your needs with a typical gamer layout including plastic chairs and fold out tables lining the space not used by the register and displayed items for purchase. I tried using the website listed on fb but it doesnt work so i wont add it to their information. Ive only been here twice so i cant say much about the place or people other than having its fixed group of known players and helpful staff its what you expect from a place that mainly procures and sells magic the gathering cards. Some snacks and drinks are available for purchase(more than some places but less than others). Not sure on the policy for outside food, id suggest calling to ask. I never used the restrooms so i cant say how clean or nice they are but the rest of the place is upkept as far as i could tell. Next door to a busy chinese restaurant, it can be hard to get parking during other suites business hours but once 10pm hits most of the lot is empty. I hate trying to leave from this location, the entrance/exit is small and awkwardly placed so that driving with other cars trying to come and go is not viable. You might get stuck here for a bit if you want to turn left going out, id recommend just right turning and make a turn around the next business strip up which has a much larger parking lot to maneuver.
