We entrusted Kurt Youngblood’s to custom-frame two large rugs for our new home. The first is a hand-woven and hand-died Navajo rug of great sentimental value. The second was a gorgeous Mexican rug. The quality is beyond reproach and clearly of the highest caliber. Absolutely gorgeous. The store is easy to find with plenty of parking. The staff are super friendly and more than willing to help with carrying bulky items to the car. Both look great in our home. We will always treasure these items. The only negative, and it’s a relative one, are the very high prices. I guess you get what you pay for. If you’re on a budget, shop elsewhere. If you want museum-quality work that stands out, this is your place!

The person assisting me took my special photograph and carefully selected matting and framing options. I love the way it turned out, she even added a hand-drawn line around the mat instead of a double mat because it would have been overkill. I wanted to preserve my selection with museum glass, which is extremely expensive, but that was my choice entirely. They are not cheap, but if you have something valuable to you, this is a good place to trust.

This place is pricey, but their work is amazing. They took a stained nautical chart that had sentimental value and turned it into something beautiful. Great customer service and I’m impressed with their craftsmanship.

I like this place, love the look and feel of this place. The employees have always been helpful and patient and I’ve been pretty pleased with the quality and pace of their work. I’ve had maybe four of five pieces done here, including my diploma which turned out beautiful, very pleased. The only gripe I have is that they are expensive, they are in Castle Hills right? I didn’t like the fact that I was basically charged a 22 buck«labor charge» for a task that took maybe ten minutes and involved minimal amount of material. I took in a frame and picture, all I needed was a new matte cut using the exact same frame and picture and it wound up costing me 37 bucks total. Plus, other employees have NOT charged me the extra 22 service fee. It’s certainly cause me to shop around and compare prices from here on out.

I was very particular in my project, which I called«pictures for my daughter’s wedding». Kurt Youngblood exceeded my expectations in every possible way. I had a pleasure to work with Mark, who is as an artist and a designer, a true professional who takes pride in his work. I could’ve not been happier with the quality and esthetical appeal of his creations. Looking forward to be their customer again! Sonia

Kurt Youngblood’s did a great job on a framing project I brought in. The staff were very accommodating while assisting in my frame and mating decisions. I took out plenty of colors and removed many frames off of the wall until the perfect complimentary pieces to my photograph were selected. The job was completed quickly as promised, they called when it was ready and pick up was swift and easy.
