I love Jersey Mike’s! This was the first of their locations that I have been too and it’s the best. The guys working there are always patient when asking questions about the menu, even learned about the roasted asiago bread one random day, thanks it made a HUGE difference. I can’t get enough of the fact that if I substitute a meat(take out salami, add more capicola or whatever) on the #13, it doesn’t cost more! EVERY other sub spot charges just to exclude a meat and have extra of another that’s already included, absolutely ridiculous. So kudos to Jersey Mike’s, I’m a super fan.

Very good sandwich! The bread is soft and delicious. The deli meat and cheese is sliced right In front of you when you order you sandwich! Can’t get and fresher than that. I had the turkey sandwich which was very tasty. I look forward to trying the other sandwiches!

Best sandwich in Stone Oak, hands down. Jersey Mike’s blows everyone else out of the water, and for a good reason! The deli meat is of the highest quality, and they slice it right in front of you. It’s as fresh as it gets. Bread is always fresh and flavorful– The wheat bread tends to be softer than the white bread, which is why I prefer it. Getting your sub«Mike’s Way» means adding oil, vinegar, and Italian spices(dried herbs that include pronounced oregano and basil, the rest of the flavors are more subtle). Here’s the real kicker– The hot subs are just as good as the cold subs. I feel like this NEVER happens(think Subway, Firehouse, WhichWich, and Quisnos: they all have one temperature that’s decent while the other isn’t so great). The Philly cheesesteak is AWESOME, and if you’re feeling some mushrooms and jalapeños go for the Big Kahuna! Join the rewards program for BOGO and other various discounts! Also, if you’re a polite and regular customer, the employees will often give you coupons! I’m sold.

The subs are great, fresh and have plenty of meat … A tad expensive for subs — $ 10 for a regular sized sub, chips and soda(with tax) $ 15 if you want a large sub. The establishment was clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful(since it was our first time). One issue was that the restaurant was freeeezing! I had to go get a blanket out of the car to keep warm. I noticed most customers were in jackets/sweatshirts and all cold. I’m not sure why the temp was so cold but it’s hard to enjoy food when you’re uncomfortable :(We might be back because the subs were great — hard not to choose a «sit down» restaurant for the same price point though.

When I first visited this place I ate the famous philly, it was down right delicious. I came in today and order the Club Sub… the kicker is you get it done«MikesWay™» it adds all the fixins plus red wine vinegar and olive oil. So, yeah it’s really efn’ awesome. Just eat it! Got Mikes?

I absolutely love Jersey Mikes!!! The manager at this location is amazing! He’s always very friendly and welcoming. He remembers our order too. I order the Cali Club, I like my turkey shredded and he always gives me just that.

Usually smooth operation but they have a full on JV squad running the joint now. Don’t go if you’re in a hurry or like clean tables.

Jersey Mikes catered a lunch for us for 65 people. The food was excellent, the service was fantastic. They went above and beyond our expectations. I will definitely use them again.

I love their number 6. Roast beef Mikes way. Every time I go I absolutely love it. Plus they have mountain dew. Very fresh and tons of flavor. Best sandwich shop.

Let me start by saying that I was born and raised in New Jersey, and there is nothing I miss more about Jersey than the food. Don’t get me wrong, I love the food in SA but sometimes a girl just needs a good hoagie — or a good slice of pie(pizza pie, not pie pie), or some real ice cream, but I digress. I had been craving a cheesesteak for the longest time, so I Unilocaled to see what was in the area and found this place. The wait was a little long as we went right around lunch time, and since everything is made fresh, it takes a bit to complete everyone’s orders. Anyway, I felt right at home as soon as I walked in and saw the large deli case in the front, where they pull, and freshly slice their meats and cheeses. The walls were covered in photos of the Jersey Shore(the actual shore, not those skeezy fist-pumpers). We both got the cheesesteak so I can’t speak for any of the other items, but everything looked really good! The cheesesteak comes in regular or giant size… I usually do the full footlong at other inferior sub places(name withheld haha) so I was tempted to do the giant, but it is literally giant. I think it’s 18″! I was not feeling adventurous enough to try, but I was more than satisfied by the regular(actually with chips and a drink I was a bit too stuffed but it was so good I couldn’t stop haha). I had mine«Mike style», which means it comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar and a bunch of spices(salt, pepper, oregano, and maybe a couple others that I couldn’t quite pick out), and added mayo. This sandwich was so deliciously greasy(from the meat, and the cheese, and the oils), that I did not want to put it down. I am literally salivating over here thinking back to it. The bread was crispy on the outside, but so soft and warm on the inside. Perfect. It is a bit pricier than the aforementioned inferior sub shop but everything is fresh and it is a million times tastier than than the mystery meats they sell there, so it is definitely worth it for us. My husband is from SA and he loved the cheesesteak just as much, so it’s not just my Dirty Jerz roots. ;) The only thing I would change is to have it be called a HOAGIE shop, not a sub shop, but I suppose that would limit their customers since only South Jersey/Philly people call them that. :p

I wasn’t impressed at all with their sandwich. The quality is not there and the value isn’t either. They seem to be more focused on franchising than they are on memorable sandwiches. Won’t go back.

I ate this sandwich through a groupon. Surprisingly, I still felt it was overpriced. There’s a lot of lettuce in the sandwich and not much lunch meat. I felt like the meat was no better than going to HEB and buying your own sliced ham and making your own sandwich. There was nothing special about the food. If you want a super cold sandwich(because there’s so much lettuce) then this is the place to go. I also didn’t feel like the restaurant was clean and friendly.

First visited Jersey mikes in florida always had a good experience. Good food good service and good to know there in town! Nice environment, not your typical sub place. Awesome menu, however they don’t offer the full menu as they east coast chains, but they do have all the favorites selections.

don’t get me wrong… the company Jersey Mike’s is one of my favorites for heros. But this particular location could use a little improving. Despite the fact that they claim to make the sandwiches according to corporate specifications, that’s not the case. They’re stingy and their sandwiches end up being 90% lettuce, 8% bread, and 2% meat… i know this because i’ve gone to 5 other Jersey Mike’s locations in different towns and different states(because, again, I love them) so I have a broad basis for comparison. Service is friendly but they really need to improve order accuracy. Ingredients are fresh and they generally put the correct balance of olive oil/vinegar/salt-pepper-oregano. Still, this is the place to go for a sandwich in Stone Oak… may be more expensive than Subway, but they portions are enormous and tasty, for the most part. Far better than its smaller competitors like Thundercloud, etc

I stopped in for lunch the other day because I was in a hurry and wanted a tasty italian sandwich… I should have walked next door to Subway and been treated better, spent less and had a better lunch. I had never been here, so I was looking at the menu. The kid behind the counter was very rude. laughing at my questions and then his friend started laughing too. I wanted an italian sandwich, but warmed, and they acted as if they had never heard of such a thing. I finally decided on the philly sandwich. I asked if I could have some mayo on the side(in case I had to add some in the event the sandwich was dry) and was told that I could not, but that they could put mayo it. That was ok and I stressed that I only wanted a small amount to moisten the bread. I also asked for a large amount of relish on the sandwich as well. I guess my request was way too hard to follow as the sandwich was drenched in mayo and hardly had any relish to speak of. So, I scraped the mayo off and then asked for some more relish. You would have thought I asked for a bar of gold from the looks I got! The flavor of the meat was ok… I didn’t even notice the provolone on it. I am so disgusted by the lack of respect for customers and the mediocre food that not only will I not return, I will be sure to tell everyone not to go!

Never heard of this sandwich chain, so I decided to give it a try. Interior was slightly more enjoying than ‘subway’ next door. The staff seemed nice, and the service was fast, even with a few people ahead of me. I chose a regular turkey sandwich. Delicious! The bread dough was so fresh and bigger than the competition in terms of width versus length, and tasted so wonderful! The olive oil and other sauce used made in the sandwich added a special zing to it. It is a little more pricey than next door, but the will pay an extra dollar for such a fresh and tasty sub!
