Love this bar. Try the Daytona wings and fried pickles… yum! Not overcrowded; great place to watch the game, talk and have a few drinks. You do leave the bar smelling of fried food but it’s worth it. Owner is really nice and alwaysasks how everything tastes.

Stopped in on a whim, pleasantly surprised! Very neighborhood bar feeling and a really good bartender! We’ll be back back on a different whimsical evening.

Solid spot in Stone Oak to get a break from the prestige and conventionality for a good night. Lots of beers on tap and a nice laid back environment for guests to chat and watch the game. Katherine is an absolute doll and if you don’t have her serving you, you should. The owner is a sweet old man, and they take really good care of their regulars. I loved the patio, it’s covered so it’s a great spot even in the rain! Mozzarella sticks tasted great as well!

This bar has such a great group of regulars and a fun staff. Karaōke singers are really good performers, pool table and darts in the back, popcorn machine, and outdoor patio. This place looks small from the outside but it doesn’t feel like that inside!

I really wanted to like this place a lot more than the three stars I gave it. It’s definitely a neighborhood bar, but something was just missing from it that made me want to stop in on a regular basis. I can’t say anything negative about it, the bartender was attentive and pleasant, but maybe it was just the vibe that was missing. I may have caught it on the wrong day and time, as many other people see more in it than I did.

Best wings I’ve ever had! Been going here for years and always seem to meet some great new people each time. I always have a good time here.

Why would there only be two bartenders on a Friday night when the place is packed? The male bartender with the baseball cap was a complete jerk and would not serve me. Even after constant attempts to get his attention, he would either ignore me or tell me that there were others ahead of me. Luckily the female bartender picked up his slack and took my order. I definitely won’t me coming back, this place is more of a college dive bar.

BUFFALOWINGS!!! I’m from buffalo grew up there and I can now finally feel at home in San Antiono due to Kennedy’s having authentic Buffalo wings. Good atmosphere good time. I would compare the wings to Duffs wings.

If it weren’t for a bartender named Erika who stepped up and waited on us I would have given this place 1 star. The atmosphere was welcoming and the food we eventually ate was really good. For some odd reason they didn’t have a server. I wonder if anyone ever told them that the weekend is the busiest days for a bar/restaurant. When we sat down I noticed a old man next to me falling asleep in his chair. Eventually he attempted to go to the bathroom and took took a nasty spill down the 2 little stairs and landed right on his face. Overall I would say this is a great place to go have a drink and watch the game but I wouldn’t plan on eating there. We lucked out and right when we were about to go somewhere else, Erika stepped up and made it a good experience. But I wouldn’t count on her always being there to redeem the place.

This place was crowned and loud which normally is not my favorite thing but they have a great beer brew of there own and that made my all the difference!

Good beers, music too loud to carry a decent conversation, some of TVs in hard to view areas. Had a decent grilled chicken Caesar. Mixed crowd. Would prob come back.

Good sports bar/pub. Dog-friendly. My burger which was ordered medium-rare actually came out medium-rare. That doesn’t happen often. My only gripe is that the wait staff doesn’t take orders on the patio. You have to go inside to order.

After recently moving to the area, my wife and I have been looking for a new«Cheers» type bar to frequent. As soon as we walked through the door we looked at one another and knew we had found what we were looking for. It’s equal parts dive bar, sports bar and Irish pub complete with dart board, pool table app controlled music, and a few televisions to please us sports fans. Its laid back, casual, and fun. Additionally, when making small talk with the waitstaff it’s always great to hear how they enjoy working there. Not a lot of waitresses say that about where they work. Can’t wait to enjoy some football, epic wings and beer in this great location!

Great neighborhood bar. Delicious wings, fish & chips. They allow dogs on the patio; best of all– they will even bring out water and snacks for the dogs. We always enjoy our visits there. Laid back, casual, and friendly. Great staff and food.

Great wings, best in San Antonio– Finally! The wings are crispy and hot. They serve celery and carrot sticks with blue cheese. I am from Buffalo New York and this is by far the best chicken wings I’ve eaten in San Antonio. The place is often busy. If UR a wing connoisseur like me you will not be disappointed.

*Revised* My visit today has been amazing. The service was great, the wings are phenomenal & the owner bought me another shot. This is officially my neighborhood bar. ** I love this Pub. The owner came over and introduced himself. Chatted about where we’re from and gave us a shot of whiskey. The décor is everything I’ve been looking for in a Public House. The wooden bar and variety of tables, Boothe’s and metal Guinness signs sold me. The brand new Buzz time trivia tablets & Touch tunes jukebox are fantastic. You can download an app for the jukebox & the tablets make it so that you don’t have to be near a TV to play any of the games. There’s a dart board and a pool table in the back. My Guinness was perfect, aside from the girl that poured it didn’t let it rest and then finished, she just filled the pint up. So sad. An Irish public house should know how to pour a Guinness. I’m looking forward to going back for these incredibly famous wings tomorrow. I haven’t eaten there yet. Also, Sundays are happy hour all day. So there’s that. Minus the beer foul, I can just say that the only thing I didn’t like about this place was the service from the bartender. She was not attentive, nice or seem to care at all. She talked with other customers most of the time. Luckily the owner was so nice I forgave her.

«Found» this bar back in fall of 2011 when I did a search for«Steeler Bar». Yes, it is black and gold primarily during football season but all are made to feel welcome. It’s been my neighborhood bar ever since. It has a nice mix of people of various ages and socioeconomic backgrounds. Very laid-back come as you are atmosphere. It has a nice ebb and flow of patrons. Sometimes filling up for a couple hours then almost emptying out and then filling up again with new faces. For smokers it has a nice covered patio area with plenty of seating and outdoor TVs. An added plus is that the smoking area is heated in the winter. Beer selection is average for any bar of this type and size. Barfood is above average for same. I recommend the wings which are in my opinion as good or better than wings from Hooters to Buffalo wild wings. If you come with any regularity you’ll become, well, a regular. With that brings a few hidden perks if you will. Which you’ll have to become a regular to find out about. :-) The owner, Chuck, makes regular appearances in the bar and presses the flesh with all the patrons. Which gives the place a nice personal touch and in my opinion keeps the place running like a good bar should.

You know, I have a great photo of Kennedy’s I wish I could post… it includes me and two other girls sitting on their very large chair in the entrance. Take the photo op yourself! So this place is usually crowded, but ample enough to accommodate. The smoking patio is decent and pretty clean, and the bar area has room to stand, but I probably wouldn’t sit here. The«tenders are too busy to know your name, or care about you, so bring your big girl panties and boxing gloves to get in thar! TIP: Check for the nights they have Black Jack — we have so much fun with the guy that runs it!

We went here yesterday afternoon hoping for a quick drink and just to hang out with an old friend. My husband, our friend and I walked in about 2:30PM. We sat outside because it was really nice. We were unsure if we needed to order drinks at the bar or if a server would come to us. A lady walked out and asked what we wanted. I asked for a beer list and food menu. «Ugh well we don’t have beer list but I can bring you a food menu.» She was so awkward when she was talking to me. So then I asked her what she had on draft and it took her a second to tell us all they had. We placed our orders and waited. She brought over the menus then our beers came out shortly after. I told her we would need a second to look over the menu and so she said she would be right back. I was starting to starve and and afternoon beverage wasn’t helping my appetite. If anything it was beginning to make me hangry. We were pretty much done with our first round when she came out to see if we wanted to order food. «Um no thanks. We’re actually done can you just bring our check.» She stood there for a second awkward again and confused left and then came back with our check. My husband took the check and then she just stood there waiting… um hello can we take a second to even glance at the check? He gave her his card and she closed it out. I hear people rave about this place and saw all the positive reviews. I don’t know if it was because it was a Monday afternoon but I don’t care what time I go to a bar if you’re open I expect some decent service. Don’t make me feel bad for being there and don’t make me have to guide or steer you in the direction of the service I deserve. Who knows if I’ll ever go back. I honestly am not a fan of that side of San Antonio anyway. I just happen to be there visiting some friends and we decided we wanted a quick drink. Honestly I would say it was a big FAIL.
