I checked in my Unilocal here and a pic came up and said yea your a regular here. Hmmmm… I’m not sure that’s a good thing. I was greeted by a not so pleasant waitress and she seemed like she was annoyed by me. I think she saw me looking at the green sauce, the sauce showed signs of heavy fermentation. So I told her she could take it back. I don’t think she was impressed about my concern of possibly getting sick. I ordered pancakes and they where just ok nothing special. I guess that’s ok for just a taco place. Feed the hunger right? They played 50’s Rock over the radio… different. Booths are big and blue. Not really comfy. Back to waitress… She never checked on me, maybe that’s why she left the ticket with the food. Overall… Ok food with not so happy waitress. Coming back? If I remember today’s service, no. There are plenty other Mexican restaurants in the area to try out.

ROACHES!!! Do not go here unless you want roaches all over your food. Management is rude and accuses you of lying when you present a problem. I would give a worse rating if possible but I will let the health inspectors do that. Also, if you are going through the drive thru, expect a long wait. At times I have waited 20 – 30 minutes JUSTINTHEDRIVETHRU. The only good thing I have seen so far is the nice lady at the window. I should have saved my money because even when the order is wrong, they deny fault and make you drive all the way back and show them. I’m sorry but I have a career and a life that I can’t put on hold just to drive all the way back to prove your mistakes. I suggest Las Palapas or for that matter even Taco Cabana. At least they accept their mistakes and replaces your order ATYOURCONVENIENCE.

Worst experience, I was on the drive thru, I accidentally left my wallet at home, I apologize to the lady on the drive thru window and told her I accidentally left my wallet at home… I was not even done talking and she shut the drive thru window. I think there’s better ways to handle a situation like this.

Tacos are ok. The service is extremely slow. I usually go on my way to work and the wait is at least 10 – 12 mins so leave early. What takes so long to make tacos?! The same lady is usually at the window and she rushes you and not very nice. I can’t wait for Las Palapas to open just down the street.

I buy tacos every Saturday and Sunday morning for my friends, the chicken fajita and guacamole are a big hit and my favorite is potato, egg with bean, cheese and bacon. Also, Barbacoa w/avocado is enjoyed by many. I should buy stock in this place as much money as I spend there but seriously it is worth it!

I’m so sick and tired of Lisa’s tacos Babcock location. I work in the medical area and get tacos for staff at least three times a week. One would think the Lisa’s brand would appreciate the business. NOPE. I get attitude from their staff every time and don’t even get me started on the salsa. It’s like begging them to give you salsa for your tacos. Many of the staff I order tacos for are vegetarian, therefore they drink the salsa. I struggle to get Lisa’s to give me at LEAST one tiny cup of salsa per taco. Now if I drive the extra couple of miles to their huebner location, the staff is friendly and manager fills small styrofoam cups with salsa for my staff and I. When I made a comment to the babcock location about the salsa he replied, «I gave you enough». Had he given me enough I wouldn’t be asking. I hope someone from this terrible location reads this and hopefully a change is made.

Enjoyed our lunch here today! I had the puffy tacos, and my husband had the enchiladas! Food was delicious, and prices were very affordable. The restaurant itself was not anything to write home about … the front door handle was even broken. Seemed clean though. Service was very slow, and we got our food in shifts over a time period of about 15 minutes(there were 5 in our party) so by the time the last person got their plate, the 1st person was just about done. I’ve heard good things about their Leon Valley location so next time we’ll probably go there even though the Babcock location is closer to our house.

Family run establishment with great prices on their breakfast tacos and breakfast plates. This is the fifth time my wife and I have been here and we crave it all the time. The barbacoa plate is my personal favorite and she tries a new breakfast taco every time we come through. We’ve never been disappointed with the service or the quality of the food. We will continue to be back over and over again … Tip: The green sauce is amazing and you should lather it on everything !

I go to either location about once a week. Always a great breakfast here at a great price. Service is good and they keep the dining room clean. The only suggestion is that the booths could use some padding on the seats for a little more comfort.

This place has good tacos, but they give you thimble sized salsa cups to go. Get a clue Lisa you’re in Texas. We need more salsa!!! It takes three of those little cups for one taco! Stop being so pinche! Also they were out of barbacoa today at 1:00pm! Are you kidding me? It’s Sunday.

Not bad for breakfast tacos. Came here on a weekend and so there was no 2 for 1.50 deal but the tacos were still 1.09 cents each. I got the chorizo and egg and the bean and cheese. They were pretty good. Add in the salsa and it really takes the flavor levels up a notch.

Prior to coming to the new location my family and I have been going to their old location in Leon Valley. Thinking that this would be the same waitresses and same cooks I decided to go with a friend and give it a try. When we arrived the drive thru was long it started right at the entrance. When we entered in the restaurant it wasn’t crowded surprisingly. When we picked the table I was disgusted at the fact that it wasn’t clean. There was still a mess from whoever ate their prior. That was red flag #1. I ordered two potato and egg tacos and a coffee. Coffee was ok. Waitress was very slow, red flag #2 I mean how long does it take to order the food and bring it out? When they brought the food out I was not impressed with them, the potato and egg was served skimpy. I didn’t eat it all of it red flag #3. When they gave me a refill on coffee I opened the creamer and I poured it, it looked slimy even inside the coffee. When I drank it, I spat it out it was so gross, I thought it was cleaner they put in there I told them to take it back, that was red flag #4. Do yourself a favor and do not give this place a try. I’m very disappointed to see this establishment go down.

We have always used Lisa’s for our taco addiction. And have never had a bad experience. However, we went today and were charged an extra $ 1 per taco. On their menu it clearly says al pastor tacos are 1.79. They charged me 2.79 $ per taco and wouldn’t refund my money when I asked for my ticket to be fixed. So when you’re buying tacos for a lot of people it quickly adds up when they up charge you and think you won’t notice. When going through the drive thru they only give you a debit card receipt, not a detailed receipt about what you ordered and how many. I will not be going back.

I was hungover and in dire need of tacos. The tacos I got were super skimpy. I ordered two bean and cheese, a chorizo and egg, and a potato and egg. The bean and cheese was okay, but was lacking in cheese and the beans weren’t that great. The chorizo and egg was decent tasting but very small. The potato and egg was a joke and barely had any egg. Maybe they are trying to conserve their eggs because of the current egg shortage caused by bird flu, but as a paying customer I would like this honesty up front. I would have ordered something else. Also, I paid $ 4.20 when I thought everything I had ordered was under the 2/1.50 special. If I wasn’t so hungover I would have gone back to show them the poor excuse of tacos they gave me. Saw on their drive thru menu they have lots of burgers and sandwiches to order. I may be back for those, but definitely not tacos. There are MUCH better tacos elsewhere. The other Lisa’s Taco Hut location is pretty good so maybe they just can’t handle two businesses.

I tried this location out for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. I went through the drive through, so I can’t speak for the inside experience. The lady who took my order was nice and pleasant. The food took a little long, but when I got to my office it was still a nice hot temperature. So having to wait a little longer was worth it. The food was really good, I had the puffy taco plate. The only suggestion would be to drain the beef a little longer before serving it, as it was pretty greasy. Overall the service was good as was the food, there was even extra napkins in the bag! Yes, this last note is review worthy since most places don’t see the need to include napkins with your order.

Me and some co-workers went there last week. My chicharron taco had a piece of super-hard, unchewable, mystery meat in there(maybe machaca?) and my co-workers taco had… ok, get this… A PIECEOFUSEDDENTALFLOSSINIT!!! NEVER going there again. Should’ve called the health board.

I live not 5 minutes from this place and decided to give it a try. The restaurant was very busy but the drive thru line moved pretty quick. I ordered a total of 5 tacos and 1 small cup of regular coffee for a total of 6 bucks. Can’t beat that. Everything was great and the coffee was nice and strong, the salsa was spicy and pretty good. My gf and i would give this place another try.
