The pizza was amazing! My niece, cousin, & I ate the whole large. Great prices & fresh ingredients!

Was looking for a great pizza place, and decided to give this place a try. Worst mistake ever! Tonight was the first night I ordered, I went to pick up pizza, and the guy at the front handed me my order; I asked him if all of the additional sauces I had paid for were in there, he said yes however the additional pizza sauce I had ordered was missing. I tasted one cheese bread, which lacked sufficient cheese to be called cheese bread, and it was lukewarm, but nonetheless it was okay. I ate one of the slices of pizza and it was good, but nothing that knocked my socks off. I noticed the crust looked the same covered in parmesean and tasted the crust from the other side which was supposed to be their Roma Crust. The crusts tasted the same. I immediately called the store to inquire about how I would know the difference because this is my first time and according to the picture online, they were supposed to at least look different. One guy said they look and taste differently, and he credited my account for the pizza sauce that was missing, he then gave the phone to his manager Oliver. I asked more questions about the crust to ensure I actually got what I paid for, according to Oliver my order in his system says the whole pizza was to be Roma, even though I went over the receipt and the online order confirmation which showed one half was to be garlic, one half to be roma, but I actually just got an entire parmesean crusted pizza, which wasn’t what I ordered. Where Oliver messed up was he did not bother to correct the issue. All he did was say his system said differently even though the long receipt taped to the ./box matched my online confirmation of the order. Oliver did not care. He did not bother to fix the issue, but repeatedly let me know I was wrong. I asked him when the other manager would be in he stated at 11 am. Even when I said I will just return the food in the morning, all Oliver said was okay. He did not care at all. So I got up, got back in my car and drove the 5 miles back to the location before they closed and demanded my entire money back. Oliver did still didn’t even bother to fix the issue. I will be speaking to Robbie about his«partner» as well as the franchise owner, because at the end of the day, if the manager doesn’t care about providing quality guest service how can I as the consumer trust that he or his employees care about providing me with quality products? To Oliver, all you had to do was apologize, not challenge; offer a solution, not not give a crap. You never know who will walk into your place of business, that is why it is important to provide quality guest service to the very people who pay your light bill. Anyhow, go to this place with caution, triple check your order right there in the store, do not depend on the person handing you your pizza, because they don’t care, they do not pay attention to detail. There are plenty of places in San Antonio to try. I am a pizza lover and visit them several times a week, however this company will not be one of them. So again proceed with caution. I love love love pizza. This might be the best I’ve found since moving to San Antonio from Washington state. The pepperoni pizza is really great, in both regular crust and thin crust. In fact I think this is the best thin crust pizza I’ve had in San Antonio.(I still like Shakey’s pizza better, but since there is not one within a 14 hour drive of San Antonio, I will settle). I first ate at Marco’s after moving here 3 years ago. But after a couple of knee operations, I found myself staring out the window suffering under physical therapy. And what did I find myself staring at as I was tortured? Good old Marco’s Pizza! So as a reward to help my survive physical therapy I told myself«Pizza for me!» And coming back to Marco’s did not disappoint! I got take out, and the food I ordered(I ordered it online to be done when I was through with therapy) Large Pepperoni Magnifico and Cheezybread deal($ 16), with garlic butter and pizza sauce for the bread. The pepperoni pizza was great, and I gobbled up the bread. Philip says Two thumbs up, check it out.

Not too bad the pizza is good, but a little on the pricier side but it’s worth it. Very friendly staff.

This place is continually hit or miss. Today was a pretty bad miss. Like… swinging on an intentional walk in baseball miss. First off the pizza arrived way after the quoted time. Second, it was cold. Third it was the completely wrong order. I called to let the store know and… was placed on hold for 10+ minutes. I decided to drive to the store and pulled ip just as I was taken off hold. The manager was completely rude and did not act like he cared at all. With so many pizza options in the Med Center, why put up with inconsistent service and wrong orders like this? These guys lost a repeat customer today. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

First off, I want to say that the pizza itself is amazing. I ordered the Pepperoni Magnifecto w/hot wings. The flavor of the ingredients and crust is outstanding for a place that is somewhat considered«fast food» pizza. The wings were so tender that the meat fell right off the bone. I couldn’t have asked for anything better for my first time trying this place — food wise that is. Secondly, why does Unilocal give me the option to check in and receive free CheezyBread? I showed up to pick up my order, told the worker about the deal, and was immediately shut down. «Sorry we don’t Unilocal here.» Reading other reviews and seeing how there are problems with coupons, customer service, etc… I see why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. It isn’t because of the food. I can definitely tell you that. I’ll continue to come here for the pizza, but I do encourage this place to get on board with their corporate promotions.

Literally will never step foot into this Marco’s Pizza location again after a recent experience I had with them. I received an e-mail to go to Marco’s with a promo code. I had some trouble entering the promo code online(which was $ 5 off my order). I called the location to get clarification on how I could use the promo code. The guy on the other end was extremely unhelpful and was getting feedback from the store manager on what to tell me. The guy proceeded to tell me after apparently I was making a huge fuss«Ma’am, it’s only $ 5…». He blamed the Corporate Office for this issue that I wasn’t able to use the promo code, so before I hung up, I told him I would call the Corporate Office the next business day. I called Corporate Office, they handed it over to the manager of the store. He called me and was extremely rude. Didn’t get anything resolved, acted as if I was a huge burden, and made it seem like I was wasting everyone’s time over $ 5. At that point, it wasn’t even about the $ 5, it was about the fact that everyone was blaming everyone else and no one wanted to assist me in trying to figure out how to use my stupid promo code on my online order. Needless to say, I will never return.

Their pizzas are delicious! Some of the nurses at work frequently ordered pizza from Marcos and they always looked so delicious! I am always hesitant about fast food pizza due to overall low quality of their ingredients, but I was pleasantly surprised by Marco’s pizza! When I order online, they have great coupon deals that you can apply to your order. Their pizzas are generously loaded with ingredients and the best part, in my opinion, are the crust toppers. I have tried their traditional crust without toppers, which their crust is a little sweet. Their options for their crust toppers are garlic and/or Parmesan cheese. I have tried one or the other and a combination of both. This little addition creates a nice pop to the overall flavor of the pizza. Marco’s is my choice for fast food style pizza while in the medical center. FYI, for your first Unilocal check in, you get a free order of cheese bread to your food order.

They do not take coupons when they feel like it, son picked on up 30 mins ago with the coupon but when I walked in they said we do not take coupons. Saw this place on TV on under cover boss. He needs to do some more undercover work. I will never come here again

After arriving here in San Antonio I was hungry and searching for some Mexican food but by the time my orientation was over all the local places were closed and we just decided to have pizza. While the pizza was a bit expensive, it was really good. You could taste the freshness in the ingredients and both myself and my girlfriend really enjoyed it.

This 5-star rating is directly related to the price, the price of a large pizza varies so much these days and I expect the overall quality to correlate. There should be a quality difference between a $ 20 pizza and a $ 5 «hot-and-ready» pizza, and therefore I don’t fault the $ 5 pizza for not being of equal quality as the top-notch $ 20 pizza. This is why I give Marco’s 5 stars — it is 5 star pizza for the price they charge(you can always find a coupon online). It’s not the cheapest or the most expensive, it’s right in the middle. I prefer their thin crust, and I’ve tried all crust types. I recommend getting all of the crust toppers they make optional! Also for pepperoni lovers, I recommend the«old world pepperoni»(as there are two types). The old-world pepperoni is smaller, and gets nice and crispy around the edges once cooked, it usually curls upwards(if you know what I’m talking about, you know pepperoni). The wings are good but they need a smaller wing order size(like a 6 or 8 piece, they make you order at least 10!) The salads are also worth getting, simple but fresh when I’ve gotten them, a bit on the pricey side. The new s’mores brownie is way too good(they use Ghirardelli brownie mix). Use a coupon for the pizza or it will seem pricier than it has to be. I’ve always gotten good service, never had any issues with my orders. Highly recommend over all the other pizza chains!

This place sure has changed from when it originally opened. I was very disappointed when I saw the workers not wearing any hair nets or gloves while handling the food. I always thought this was necessary. The lady was kneading dough to make a pizza and then immediately jumped to make my salad without washing her hands first… This should not be happening. Sorry Marcos but I’m disappointed in your employees

Marcoooos! Got a coupon in the mail and decided to check it out. I ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza with the garlic crust and had it delivered. I expected it to be like little Caesars, or papa johns. This pizza was GOOD. like… this seriously exceeded my expectations. It was good enough to the point that I compared it to higher end pizza places(Barbaro, Stella public house) than its actual direct competitors. Move over papa johns… Marcos is where it’s at.

This was our second time ordering for Marco’s. The pizza and crust were impressive. Food was reasonably priced and I like how if you check in with Unilocal you get an order of breadsticks. We did not use the offer but was an added perk.

Decided to try Marcos pizza because I was in the area. They have a Lunch buffet but BEWARE. We arrived at 12:30 and keep in mind they start at 11:00. There was no pizza on the buffet and waited 30 minutes for 1 pizza. There were 11 other people waiting to get their 1st serving of pizza!!. This is not a true buffet. They make the pizza’s to order which takes a longgggg timeeeee. Urgh!!! The pizza is good but not enough to come back.

Ok, so sad to have to do this, but the past 2 times we have gone or had pizza ordered, it wasn’t fully cooked. We got the 2 medium pizzas with cheesy bread and a soda. Great deal, but our 2 pizzas were not cooked all the way, you could still taste the raw dough, and the cheesy sticks were just the worst. We normally have amazing food from here, but I guess today they just didn’t care. I mean I know they closed at 11, but we ordered at 930… so that gave then plenty of time to cook the food. Man, I will just say, we were really disappointed this time. Hopefully next time we order, it will be better. I guess no more ordering food after 8pm.

BAD Buffet experience !!! I was happy to see there was a new pizza joint in my area with a lunch buffet. We arrived at 1150 A.M. the 3 of us paid $ 8.10 for the buffet with a drink(only Pepsi products) and there were 4 other people eating the buffet. When we paid we were asked if we would like a pizza made to order which we did… we sat and waited eating a cold slice off the buffet line(not much to choose from… I think 2 pizzas). After 25 – 30 minutes I went down stairs to check if we were going to get the pizza we ordered. I was told it was on it way out… 5 more minutes went by and still no pizza. so 8 bucks for 2 slices of cold pizza. NEVERGOINGBACK

Wow, I’m pretty dang impressed: delicious pizza! I get my pedicures at the joint next door & decided to pick up a pizza for dinner. I browsed the website, decided what I wanted($ 9.99 large 2-topping…great price!), called to ensure that special was still going on… nope, it’s $ 7.99 instead. I line up a pepperoni & jalapeño with Roma crust seasoning(get this crust seasoning… drool worthy & makes a BIG difference on your pie, I promise). Absolutely amazing! This is my new go-to pizza joint & it’s cheap! Win win. With Unilocal check-in, you get a free cheezybread($ 4.99 value)…but, if I threw that in, my pizza wouldn’t cost $ 7.99, but $ 13.99 instead. Boo & pass til another time…

3.5÷5. I think the pizza is pretty good here for the price. I ordered a large 2 topping pizza with old world pepperoni and spinach for $ 9.99 with a coupon online. I like how you have to option of THINCRISPYCRUST crust here. I got the thin crust pizza cooked to regular temperature, but I think next time I’ll get it cooked more since you have the option to get it well done. The cheese is nice and flavorful. The crust itself isn’t anything super special and could be improved. You do have the option of CRUSTTOPPERS here which adds even more flavor to the pizza. I got the buttery flavoring and the Roma topping. The Roma definitely gave the crust a nice herby/italian flavor. Overall, I recommend the pizza here over most of the chains. I think the ingredients are better quality.
