Really good pizza! I loved the crust. I just wish they’re dining area was larger, gets a little crowded when they’re busy. Explains why a lot of people were getting their orders to go.

Probably my favorite pizza in San Antonio. Folks are always super nice– I get delivery sometimes. Looks unassuming, but is really solid. Good non-pizza items as well.

Huge, loaded pizzas by-the-slice, perfectly satisfied my pizza craving. Two slices covered me for two meals– I ate half of each for lunch and the rest for dinner. I had a slice of pepperoni and a slice of the Mediterranean. Both tasted great fresh and after a few hours chilling in the fridge. Would love to have a place like this closer to home.

The staff at Yaghi’s are very helpful; the person who took my order provided good info on the food available since I’ve never ordered from them before. I went with the stromboli and an order of cheese bread. The delivery was here in the given timeframe, the food was still hot, and the delivery guy was professional. It was the best stromboli I’ve had in awhile, and I look forward to trying their pizza. Also, make sure you try the cheese bread. It is well worth it.

The pizza was mediocre. I could’ve used their entire salt shaker on this bland pizzas. It was crispy on the bottom but still super doughy throughout. The extra cheese they add does not help the texture. The pizza was not horrible and I might return to try the wings but as for the lunch special, I wouldn’t feed into the Unilocal hype. Plus, they changed the price to $ 5.99 for two slices and a 12 oz can of soda. 46th street charges $ 4.99 for two slices and a fountain drink and is way better!!!

Came here for lunch on a Friday, around 1pm. Their lunch special is amazing and has two pizza options: two large slices or one large slice and a side salad. Service is awesome and quality is on point! Will be back.

Just tried a take-out Yaghi’s pie for Sunday football lunch, and it instantly rose to the highest echelon of my GO-TOPIZZA list. The Guy, assuming that I would be out visiting with Great Danes and lunching on my own, brought home a pepperoni & black olive pie… I don’t even like those toppings on my pizza — I actively dislike each of them, actually — but the sauce and crust and sauce-to-crust ratio were SO freakin spot-on that the pizza as a whole… even with olive juice and pepperoni grease still lingering… rocked. Yaghi’s shares stripmall space with an HEB that has a surprisingly great beer selection… one stop Sunday Funday shopping.

Yaghi’s is a hidden little gem, located next to the HEB on Babcock. The place is a pretty small, order at the counter type place, but they do have bar seating, and some tables outside. On to the pizza… The slices are huge! Awesome value. We always get the two slices + a beverage deal, which is like…$ 5.99. They have many different types of pizza to choose from. Reminds me of the awesome pizza places in NYC on W. 59th street. Pick up a few slices to go, you won’t regret it!

This is my go-to local spot for thin-crust, italian style pizza, when you’re spending $ for quality. Their crust and cheese are why I pay more $ for this pizza: the crust tastes like it’s made with fresh dough, it’s chewy and slightly crisp. It has just enough substance but is not«bready» like the worst pizza crusts. Top quality there. The cheese is just high quality, you can tell by the taste and the texture. The sauce is good, not on the heavy side, not supremely memorable. I have not tried too many of the different topping options, but I like what I have tried Highly recommend!

Pretty good pizza. Got some to go. Good variety. Standard prices, Maybe a little higher than most places. Right by the HEB. Only pet peeve is that they usually close earlier than the advertised time.

The pizza here is good, maybe a 3.5 stars. It’s not exactly NYC-style(in my opinion, the crust is off). However, the pizza slices can make for a good lunch. I like that this place has a ton of variety for specialty slices, and includes any choices in the lunch special. I don’t like that the slices seem to sit for a while(1 or 2 days?). You have to question the pie turnover rate here. You can get fresher pizza from Yaghi’s, but at a steep price. Buying a large pie with a single topping cost me ~$ 20, which I didn’t find reasonable(I’m always one to pay once, just to see if the pizza changes my life). The bottom line is I’ll go to this place for the lunch special, but nothing more. Definitely worth a try if you’re new to SA in order to see for yourself. Others seem to really like Yaghi’s and you could too.

I had the Margherita. It was like somebody heard about margherita at a party and decided to try making it. It’s cheap, it’s thin and it’s edible, but calling it New York pizza is a real stretch.

Decided to try this place out with so many positive reviews. When we arrived, I thought it was an actual restaurant but it is not. Its right next door to HEB, and they have a few small tables outside and 1 long bar table inside. Most patrons ordered to go or had carryout items. The drinks are available in cans or bottles from the fridge. Nevertheless, we dined inside and I must say I was highly impressed. NYC style large slices of pizza are perfect and crisp. The prices for specialty pizzas are competitive, i. e .18.99 larges. We had the Margherita pizza and it was perfect! Everything was balanced very well. I noticed the menu contained more«white» pizzas which I am a huge fan of as well. I cannot wait to come back and glad that I found this gem in my area.

Delicious pizza! This is a great place to have lunch. Quite a variety and friendly staff. They offer a sublime Spring Pizza with everything on it and the Mediterranean pizza has artichokes and all kinds of good stuff. If you’re vegetarian they have some awesome pizza for you here. I’ll be back !

NYC style pizza, with a number of specialty pizzas offered by the slice or to buy as a whole pizza. Tried their lasagna pizza, and their garlic chicken spinach pizza. Both were very good, with a nice crunch from the crust. They have a good balance of toppings on the pizza, as to not have one topping overpower the rest of the pizza. Their lunch special is 2 slices and a drink for $ 4.99, which is a good deal for the size of the slices. Customer service was good, as I was asked how my day was by the cashier and what toppings I like so he could recommend a pizza. Seating is sparse, but if it’s not bad weather you can sit outside as they have a few tables. I’ll definitely be getting pizza here again.

I really owe it to Yaghi’s to give them all of the credit that they deserve. Seriously, if you’re not eating at Yaghi’s then you just don’t know the extent of happiness that your tummy and wallet can be experiencing at this very moment! It’s not a mystery as to why allll of the friends and co-workers we bring here end up falling in love and coming back over and over again. For one — you can’t beat their daily lunch specials. $ 4.99(can of soda included) for 2 ginormous slices of pizza –or– 1 slice and a side salad –or– a baked pasta dish with a side of delicious garlic bread. YUM! I ordered their baked ziti lunch special yesterday and was absolutely AMAZED at just now HUGE the container was. It looked more like a family meal than a lunch special, but I ain’t complaining! Now, when it comes to the quality, I have to say that Yaghi’s is up there. I still don’t care for their margherita pizza but I DOLOVE their Philly cheese steak pizza!!! It’s really tasty and covered in fresh ingredients. Also, they do spinach on pizza the RIGHT way. Instead of throwing some saturated, out-of-a-can spinach on their pies, they use fresh baby spinach. Score! Staff is helpful and friendly and if it’s too crowded inside, they’ve got outside seating but I think their true bread winner is take-out orders. Anyway, do yourself a favor and get over there for lunch or dinner some time soon! You won’t regret it.
