Enjoyed the Turkish tea, and lovely feel of the place. The service was great, helpful and welcoming. The plate for two was tasty and loved the salad, as well as the bread. Loved the shavings of lamb and veggies.

I’m from California and was looking for something healthy and came across this restaurant. I ordered the chicken sheshkabob and it was delicious! The portion was perfect! Before my entrée came out our waitress brought out complimentary bread and salad. The customer service was excellent. They seem like they are a family owned restaurant and I felt extremely welcomed. Towards the end of our meal she also brought out yummy Turkish tea. Definitely will be coming here everyday until I go back home to California. I would have posted a picture but it looked so good I ate it too fast. Lol

We visited the restaurant for lunch. Our orders were varied to sample the diverse menu. The chef definitely had a track record in nurturing the local palate. We liked the food and the service. And yes, of course, I will always settle for Turkish coffee rather than a double shot espresso.

This restaurant was amazing and the staff was very friendly. The pide was so tasty, loved the meze platter, grape leaves were tasty, and the lahmacun was my favorite. Definitely worth coming to and heir prices are a steal.

The food was good. We had hummus, mixed grill and rice pudding, tonight’s special was a house salad with the entrée. It was fresh and tasted good. We’d recommend this location.

This place is a little tricky to find if you aren’t paying attention. It is inside the North Star Square shopping center right behind North Star Mall facing Dillards. The reason I gave this place 2 stars is because the service was really bad. I didn’t let them get to me and even found it funny that a restaurant could be so rude. Nobody ever came by to refill my water and the person that took my order wasn’t very helpful with the menu. She just stood there and stared at me until I ordered something. Their customer service was not friendly and basically nonexistent. So I was pretty much done and finishing up eating when at about ten minutes before 10:00 pm the waitress(I’m guessing it’s the owners daughter, since it seems to be run by a family) comes up to my table and says, «Are you done eating, we’re closed». She had attitude and pretty much kicked me out. I think it’s kind of funny because it takes a lot to make me mad when I go out to eat, but clearly this is no way to treat customers. The food isn’t anything special, and I’ve definitely had better Mediterranean food. For the type of service they give there is literally no reason to eat here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any of my friends.

Still Mediterranean Turkish Grill. Still the bomb! Best Turkish pizza and entrees around. Karisik Pide is my fav but have had a few and all tasty and made fresh to order. Sigara Boregi(Cigar Borek) is an awesome starter. And rice pudding is a tasty dessert. One of the only places I really get dessert. Why? Because no one else has this!

Great Service! If you’re in town and want to try something a bit new and exotic definitely hit this place up. It’s in a side portion of the strip mall but worth the search. I tried the mixed plate, got a complimentary side salad and feasted on the fresh bread. All were really good and authentic. Give it a try!

Loved it. The staff was attentive, service prompt and the quality of the meals were great. The mezze platter had a variety of flavors. We loved the Adana kebab from the mixed grill. Will order a plate of that alone next time

This place was pretty Amazing! We had the appetizer sampler and the Doner Kebab plates. Today we also got a free salad for ordering an entrée.(Pretty sweet) Service was great and food was fresh. Place looks clean and food came out to us pretty fast. No complaints here. It’s definitely on my list of places to come back to.

Great Mediterranean food. We shared the mixed appetizer with different spreads such as hummus, babaganus, and grilled eggplant. This was delicious especially with their complimentary bread. For dinner we shared the mixed grill plate with lamb, beef, and chicken over a bed of buttery rice. This platter was wonderful especially for sharing. They also have Turkish red wine that was very good and it complemented our meal.

Well today is Valentine’s Day,(and our one year wedding anniversary) and my husband and I decided to not be our regular selves and decided to try something different. He suggested Turkish food… I said what the heck. This place is a small restaurant hidden away. Oh my God! We loved it. The food was wonderful and the prices were reasonable. We will come back again.

So far, the one and only best Turkish restaurant in SA/Austin area. We drive from Austin just to eat here. All authentic dishes from Turkey. I know, I know… I’m Asian and what do I know about Turkish food. Well, I’m married to one and have been to Turkey 4 times :) I even cook some of the dishes. For us, this is the only one worth eating at. Next one is in Houston :(

This is a very nondescript place, almost hidden in a little strip mall across the street from North Star Mall. Despite the unremarkable façade and décor, this place is a hidden gem, as the food is delicious! The felafel, which I don’t usually like, was crispy on the outside and warm, moist on the inside, and served on a bed of lettuce and tomato with a light dipping sauce(tsaziki cucumber sauce?). As some who usually doesn’t like felafel, I can say these were exceptionally good. Then there was my meal, the Turkish pizza(Karisik Pide). This was baked bread with ground meat, Turkish sausage, Turkish spices, and melted mozzarella cheese. The bread had a perfect crunchy outside and the ingredients were incredibly flavorful. Delicious! I will return, and will likely have trouble deciding whether to get the same delicious meal or trying something new, as that is bound to be good as well.

The food is excellent at this low key hidden gem. Tucked away in a non-descript shopping strip; you will miss it if you aren’t looking for it. The falafel is flavorful with a golden crunchy outside and soft inside. I had the chicken shish kabab plate — nicely seasoned and moist chicken with a side of buttery rice, grilled tomatoes, raw onion, and red cabbage. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu!

I’ve never had Turkish food before but I was not disappointed. I’m not exactly sure what myself or my husband ate, but it sure was delicious! Our server was very kind. I told her that I had no clue about what to order and she gave me suggestions. One star down because I would have loved more of an explanation of the dishes because I wasn’t exactly sure what I was eating or if I was eating it properly. Everything that we tried was flavorful and our bread was soft and luscious. A big plus is that they offer a lunch special, choose an entrée and get a side salad. I’ll definetly return to try something new and maybe get some of their Turkish coffee.
