I only had the Ceviche Tostada. But it was probably the best i have had in the area. I live for ceviche and there’s is fresh and delicious.

The customer service was the best part here. They were so friendly and helpful. It makes you wish every business owner had that mindset. The food was great. I had the fish and chips and nothing was too greasy or «fishy» tasting. The french fries have an incredible seasoning as well. If you’re headed up 281, I’d recommend stopping by for a quick bite to eat.

The BEST fish tacos I have EVER had!!! I always say I am going to try something else from their menu, however, always go back to the tacos with the Baja sauce(they offer several different sauces). I hope they never leave as we are right down the road, although, even a drive out would be worth it!!!

I stopped at this place on the way out of San Antonio headed north on US281 last fall, and was amazed at how good their fish tacos were. Beautifully fried, served very hot on a bed of cole slaw, with your choice of four salsas, all good, and wrapped in a tortilla. I like the Baja and the Chipotle Cream salsas, but I recently was given a sample of their new mango salsa. Wow! The spices they sprinkle on are perfect with just the right amount of heat. The best fish tacos I’ve ever had, hands down. So many reviews rave about the french fries(which are superb), but I recommend the onion rings. They are frozen, but their purveyor is very good, and they sprinkle them with their Pier 67 seasoning and lime juice. Woof! I highly recommend Pier 67. Nice folks that treat you like family, excellent food.

I read the good reviews about this place and then saw one that said he was staying at the JW Marriott, so was I. So we went and it was really good. Everything was so fresh. Had the grilled shrimp tacos, delish. Shrimp volcano, yummy. And the fish tacos, best we’d ever had. I hope they open a new spot in California so we can have those fish tacos anytime.

From Seattle/Portland areas, food trucks are many. Staying at the JW Marriott Resort in North San Antonio, it was worth the slow 10 minute drive out to this random lot next to the highway. Had two grilled shrimp tacos, and two fried fish tacos, as well as ceviche, coleslaw, and fries based on all the reviews. The tacos were larger than we expected,(especially coming from the weak offerings at the JW) and were fantastic. They put a little pinch of some spices on top, that give it just a touch of heat/spice. I must say the fish tacos are worth high praise. The breading used was very light, nothing was unnecessarily greasy, and the taco was put together very nicely so the mess was minimal. If you like fries, these are nothing special… by themselves. But with the spices they lay on top, it puts them over the top. I was pleasantly surprised how well all the food we ordered went together. My favorite place in Texas so far. Lovely people, fantastic food. Great job Pier 67. Remember: It’s on the highway, so noise can be a factor. For us, it worked out — our 11month old watched traffic while we devoured our food.

AMAZING!!! I LOVE this little place. I had read the reviews here on Unilocal when I first moved to San Antonio back in December and since this is so close I thought I would try. Time flies and I finally got to eat this awesome and heavenly food. Let me tell you, being from San Diego I have had PLENTY of fish tacos, these by far are the best I’ve ever had. The fish was cooked to perfection. I ordered them Baja style. Best decision I’ve ever made. I also ordered a side of fries. The seasoning on those fries are delicious! Even my boyfriend ate some and he is so picky about food. If you are looking for a delicious shrimp tostada(I have yet to try it but as good as everything I had was, I know I will not be disappointed!) or fish tacos, or even just a quesadilla and fries, DOIT. I promise you will be glad you stopped to eat here. P. S. The lady who helped me was so sweet! Made my experience that much better. OH and there are tons of hot sauces HUGE plus for me because I’m a big fan of hot sauce.(:

Normally I would never eat at a food truck, but we were so happy we did. Cerviche was outstanding, as was the shrimp tostada, and the fish tacos were absolutely stunning. I may have to stop there every Sunday.

I stopped by here for lunch to try it out, had their fish tacos. It was amazing!!! the best fish tacos I have ever had. They have two different sauces for the fish tacos, one was a chipotle and I dont remember the other. The tacos were cripsy with flavor. Loved it !!!

Pier 67 Ocean Grill serves up the best fish tacos you’ll likely ever find in San Antonio. And It consistently does this from a very unassuming food truck at the 281 food park. While their truck may be pretty straightforward, their food is anything but that. Their fish tacos are offered in a variety of styles to suit your tastes: I opted to try their Baja and Chipotle Cream styles. Both were absolutely delicious, sporting fresh toppings and featuring perfectly fried fish nestled in corn tortillas. The fish was neither oily, undercooked or dried out and had the right amount of bite to make this taco perfectly balanced texturally. The flavor of the fish was mild but flavorful enough to not get drowned out by its accompanying sauce and toppings. And those toppings and sauce worked in perfect union with the fish to take this taco to heights of flavor only dreamed of by other contenders to the throne of «best fish taco». I also sampled their ceviche tostada, and this too was tasty. I opted to add a little of their hot sauce(El Yucatero, Red and Green Habanero) to this as I felt it needed a little kick. The flavors in their ceviche are bold and stood up well to the addition of that heat and the crunch of the tostada was most welcome and complimented the whole experience perfectly. And finally, I have to mention their fries which I also enjoyed immensely. They use crinkle-cut fries which they sprinkle with what appears to be a light touch of seasoned salt after coming out of the hot oil. The fries have always been cooked correctly when I’ve ordered them and are accompanied by a chipotle cream sauce for dipping. This sauce takes the relatively ordinary fries and elevates them to more than just a mundane side-order. These were very gratifying. Overall, Pier 67 really knows what they’re doing and if you are looking for a fish taco that you’ll forever compare all other fish tacos to, this is the place for it!

Wow. Living in southern CA for a dozen years, I thought I knew fish tacos but apparently not. These bad boys are superb. Dare I say the best I’ve ever eaten? Yes. There. I said it. So fresh and the fish so crispy and just right. The chipotle sauce is wonderful and the avocado adds just the right amount of creamy goodness. Just simple, fresh food here. Excellent ceviche as well. Even though they are about three hours from any ocean pier, this little trailer has pulled off«better than Baja» cuisine! Thank you Pier 67!!! Oh, and for those absolutely opposed to eating fish, they also have some yummy steak tacos. My kids used to eat those until they heard me raving about the fish so much. Ha!

Honestly such great food!!! My sister told me about this food truck and said we had to go as soon as possible. Soo, I reluctantly agreed to a free meal(haha jk. the pleasure was all mine) and we headed down the 281 a couple evenings ago. It was getting dark, and was pretty windy, so I was surprised they were still open. :) We ordered the fish tacos(of course! because those are her favorite) and also tried the shrimp tacos and ceviche. The star of the meal was definitely the fish tacos. Now I can see why she loves them so much. Lightly breaded fish, very fresh toppings, and a nice bite from the sauce. Best fish tacos I’ve had in San Antonio ;) The shrimp tacos were also good, but we both agreed that they had a little too much melted cheese in them(seemed more like a shrimp quesadilla than a shrimp taco). The ceviche was just okay… I don’t think I would order it again.(Rosario’s has GREAT ceviche if that’s what you’ve got a craving for) I would really love to see this business do well, so if you love fish tacos and you’re willing to take a trip a ways down the 281, come on down! ;D

Wow! In San Antonio for work and we were looking for something different for dinner. Found Pier 67 on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. We braved rush hour traffic on 281 and finally made it to the roadside parking area they(and a few other trucks) use. Picnic area was clean and well kept. The woman working at the Pier 67 truck gave us a free sample of ceviche(yum!) but we decided to get the shrimp tacos and fish tacos along with a couple orders of french fries. Long story short, the shrimp taco was the clear winner. The shrimp melted in your mouth and tasted almost like lobster it was so sweet and tender. The sauce was on the side so the taste of the shrimps, cheese, and vegetables wasn’t lost in it – frankly it didn’t even need it but the sauces were good too. Fish tacos were fried, but well seasoned, light, and flaky. Fries were seasoned and had a hint of lime(REALLY good fries!) The proprietors seemed to genuinely care how much we enjoyed our meal. Didn’t even ask us to pay until after we had eaten! If we ever come back to San Antonio we will definitely visit again.

On my first visit, I became a fan as soon as I bit into the fish tacos. I had bought these for my son and was skeptical since the fish was fried. Boy, was I mistaken! They were delish! The cole slaw topping along with the chipotle mayo brought it all together. And their Pier 67 fries… my god… I thought I had had some good fries until I tried these heavenly morsels that are sprinkled with lime juice and their own Pier 67 seasonings. I also had their smoked tuna and shrimp ceviche. Wow! Who would’ve thunk! In additon to the protein, it has avocado, cole slaw and their own chipotle sauce. You have to try these!

Check in on your Unilocal app to get a free ceviche tostada!!! You don’t wanna miss it! I’ve already been here several times and Arturo and his partner have THEE best fish tacos this Unilocaler has EVER had. Two pieces of fried fish topped with all the works — baja style — and a cream sauce of your pick(my personal fave: chipotle cream!) OH.EM.GEE. Two tacos for about 7.50 and each time they fill me up. Their fries are crinkle cut Oreida fries HOWEVER the spices they top the fries with(coupled with their homemade cream sauce) is outstanding! This place has such awesome fish tacos that I rarely order anything else from either of the other trucks that are out at The Park at Summerglen. The tacos are just the star of MYSHOW. Yeeeeeeeeah bud-dy!

My husband and I stopped by for a late snack. He ordered the ceviche tostada and I just had an order of fries. His tostada was excellent and the fish tasted fresh. My fries were nicely seasoned and came with a yummy sauce. We’ll definitely be back!

We tried a few different things to give them a go, Baja Fish Tacos, Tuna&Shrimp Tostada and Shrimp & Ceviche Tostada. All were fresh and had amazing taste! They are in a new little food truck park on the side of 281 N just across from the Summerglen subdivision. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.

The best baja style tacos I’ve had anb the shrimp tuna tostada is very good, I’ve been there 3 times now, I expect to be there at least once a week, very good prices and food quality, oh and very clean as well, I would give it more stars if the scale allowed it.

This is a new food truck that parks at the first fireworks stand north of Marshall Road off of 281. I was a little skeptical of eating at a Seafood«food truck» but I took a look inside, and its very clean inside. I’ve eaten there twice now! Both times the food was fresh and very tasty. They have about ten items on the menu, and so far I haven’t been disappointed. From what I understand the truck is owned by three different families, and all centered on one chef’s work. I hope the best for these folks. They are taking a shot at the dream! It’s nice to see that these days.
