Subway

Okay… so my original review was removed for «violating Unilocal’s guidelines». Okay. I get it. Fortunately, I have the original review, so a simple copy/​paste with the offending content removed should suffice.

This Subway, located at the intersection of Loop 1604 (access road) and Hausman has been open a while. It is near Brandeis High School, which makes it a good place for high school kiddos on a limited budget and any business person who happens to be in the area.
Well, normally I have good experiences with Subway. Not this location. It is almost entirely staffed by staff who apparently are either mostly hard of hearing or hard of understanding. I have been there several times, and each time I have had to repeat my order with increasing decibel levels and clarity each time. Last time I specifically asked for green bell peppers and the staffer almost put jalapeño peppers on my sandwich (EWW!). I had to speak L-​O-​U-​D-​LY AND C-​L-​E-​A-​R-​L-​Y that I did NOT want jalapeño peppers, and actually pointed OVER THE COUNTER at the green bell peppers which I wanted on my sandwich.
So, if you want to go to a Subway without having to explain yourself several times, go anywhere EXCEPT Hausman Road/​Loop 1604.

Went to this Subway on Sat evening with my daughter. Arrived at 9:15 the door was locked. Door hours were until 9:30. Employees saw us walk to the door and ran to the back to hide. I kept knocking on the door. Finally someone came out and unlocked the door. He confessed they were trying to close early. In fact everything was put away, so they had to start closing at 9pm. Called manager she was upset, but did not offer any meals for the issue. Not going back to this Subway.
