Yummy! Great service! Did order a new menu item(first day out) and it was made incorrectly both times, but it tasted good and they get an A for effort. Would have been a 5 if they’d nailed that.

I have never been to an Egg and I restaurant before and was really excited to try this one out! I had their Parisian Benedict which is basically an eggs benedict with a croissant. It was life changing. Besides that, our waitress was so nice and attentive and we were seated right away even though it was busy. I definitely would come back!

Visited this location for the first time. My partner and I were impressed with the menu. I ordered the blueberry pancakes. The pancake itself was delicious… couldn’t eat all of it. It was as big as my plate. Came with eggs and sausage. Coffee was wonderful too. The name of this place is deceiving. I’ll definitely be back and share my plate with someone. My partners Mexican plate was delicious too. He couldn’t finish his either. Brown bagged it.

Your traditional American style breakfast with a bit of tex-mex on the menu as well. .The wait is ridiculous and they are only open for breakfast through about 3 noon. whenever you do finally sit down I guess the wait is worth your time because the food was great. The waitress was accommodating and suggested something for my son which he devoured with precision. My wife and I had delicious meals as well. 4 starts because of wait time and hours.

Great neighborhood spot! The Mexican skillet is my favorite, but they have a ton of great choices. The avocado Cali scramble is awesome too, but it’s a special menu option. And the pancakes are HUGE!

Perfect, had the bacon, spinach and mushroom omelette with grits and an english muffin. I can tell that butter is their primary ingredient for everything, and that’s alright! Great service for great food.

Good food. Biggest complaint is often it takes forever to pay and get out of there. Peopl bunch up at the door making for an awkward amd uncomfortable experience arriving and departing. Food is good. I love their pancakes.

Nice breakfast restaurant for when the laziness his you and you don’t even want to cook eggs. We met the manager(Vanessa) and she is very friendly! The atmosphere and staff are wonderful and the service is quick and accurate.

Simply … My GOTOSPOT when I’m in San Antonio! Folks who know me… Know that I can eat BREAKFAST at any time of day! And, with this location, I try to wait until all of the crowds have filled their stomachs so that I can go in an enjoy the Crab Eggs Benedict, my Fav! I love the relaxed vibe. Nobody rushing me out, and the Manager Vanessa… Is an Angel. She even went so far as to personally give me a ride back to my hotel when the shuttle took to long. Any food, tends to taste better with a Smile, and she tries to personally bring one to each table! Oh… And the have great WIFI. Egg & I… Thank YOU for helping me eat good away from home!

Good place for breakfast. Dark roast coffee is a great eye opener. Haven’t had a bad dish yet. Surprising for a chain. Just found out they were bought out, I hope the place doesn’t change.

DONOTEATHERE!!! Got breakfast there Sunday Morning 01÷24÷16 at 9am, by 4pm was violently ill till 4am the next morning. This was the only thing I had eaten and it wasn’t the flu. Had the Avocado Bacon Eggs Benedict and the new Kale drink. Do not eat here, as I am still feeling poorly 24hrs later.

Traditional breakfast joint with a warm feel. I ordered the apple sausage scramble(not sure of the exact name) and my girlfriend ordered the Colorado scramble(not sure on name either). My dish was very delicious. It was packed with veggies and scrambled egg whites and topped with Gouda cheese. It came with a side of fruit and wheat toast. I also ordered the Christmas coffee which was had a subtle cinnamon taste. It was very good! The had plenty of menu options to suit anyone’s tastebuds. We will visit again!

Pretty terrible experience. My husband came in on a Sunday morning and was seated right away. We looked through the menu and sat and waited for someone to come take our drink orders. After about 15 minutes, I start getting antsy and tell my husband if someone doesn’t come over in 2 minutes, we were leaving. During this time I see every other table around us being helped, People have walked in and gotten their drinks by this time. Finally a very kind but very nervous gentleman comes over to take our drink orders and while we have him, we give him our food orders. He comes back after about 10 minutes to confirm our orders. I guess he doesn’t understand his writing. Finally about 5 minutes later we get our drinks, but they are incorrect. I ordered a regular house coffee, and he brings me hazelnut. My husband orders an orange juice and he is brought the ~$ 10 carafe of orange juice. The very nervous wait advised us that we would not be charged for the carafe of orange juice, just the juice that we ordered. Finally our food is brought out. I ordered the Mexican omelet and my husband ordered the biscuits and gravy, grits, and eggs. While my food was tasty, it was missing the sour cream. The waiter realized that as it was brought out and promptly brought some. My husbands food on the other hand was awful. His grits were cold and clumpy. His eggs were not done, the white was runny and his biscuits and gravy were pretty tasteless. We ate what we could and waited to the check. Our waiter never returned after bringing me sour cream so went up to pay without the check. We weren’t charged for the coffee or the orange juice. We won’t return.

We love breakfast and this place does too! Everything we have tried has been great and we really enjoy the good service. Waiters are always attentive to beverage refills and their hazelnut coffee is phenomenal. We love any eggs Benedict entrees, waffles, iced hazelnut coffee, and meaty omelets :) The only warning we have about breakfast plates here are those containing chorizo. It does not seem to be what we thought it would be, but maybe asking prior to ordering would help since we didn’t. Love it and see you sometime soon guys!

It’s alright. I know it’s all about the eggs… just get the pancakes or waffles. My last visit was bad. Flies on the wall, 27 to be exact. The one pancake we ordered was delivered to the wrong table, we had to wait 5 minutes after we already ate our meals. The staff is very friendly though. We did tell the hostess about our visit. Not sure when I’ll go back.

I was looking at the pictures of food, which mostly showed eggs. I decided I would take my chances and try it anyway and I was blown away by the service and the food. I got the pineapple coconut pancake combo. The pancake is humongous!

We had our usual Texas Skillets. Tender steak strips with your choice of eggs and potatoes and toast/muffin. I always go with their bold coffee. The regular is kind of weak. The husband goes with Earl Grey tea. Today our server was Alexandria(I bet her friends call her ‘Alex’. She looks and acts like an ‘Alex ’). She is very laid back and friendly. Doesn’t rattle. She liked my skull earrings. Thank you very much. The restaurant was not busy during our time there this morning. Another nice breakfast.

Breakfast is easy. However going to breakfast in San Antonio isn’t always easy. There’s always those places that are so packed you can’t stand to wait longer than 15 minutes. I was lucky on my recent trip to the Blanco Rd location. I sat right in, was served my coffee and had my breakfy sandwich ready in less than 15 minutes. That’s my kind of place for breakfast! Come here early.
