I needed to get an eye exam since I didn’t pass for my drivers license, staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Alex Abramson was excellent! He knew exactly what he was doing, was very friendly, and fast.

This walmart sucks, the staff sucks. I tried to buy a 65inch TV and after waiting 30min for someone to help me they wouldn’t even help me bring the tv to a register. I’ve had problems with every department in the store. It’s become very ghetto.

Today I went to three different stores trying to find a certain quilt. The website said it was in stock at all three. 2 of the 3 stores were called and confirmed it in stock then didn’t have it. By the time I got to the third store I was very frustrated. I spoke with support manager Kim at Walmart Supercenter 16503 Nacogdoches Rd San Antonio Tx. She immediately went with me to help find it. She and the gentlemen in that department showed they had several in stock, but not on the floor. Unfortunately they were unloading a truck and could not be retrieved at that moment. Kim took my name and phone number and personally got it after the truck was unloaded and put it at the service desk for me and then called and let me know. She went above and beyond for me & I appreciate it! So many time we complain about customer service. I just wanted to make sure she is recognized for this! Thank you!

Funny all the employees seem to be upset today. The managers seem to be in their stuff about something.

So I drive to WAL-MART to purchase a 5 qt Mobile 1 oil container and see its $ 22.97 but sold out. Understandable since it’s a good price. I decided to drive to the next nearest Wal-Mart to see if it was in stock. It was but price is $ 26.97. Okay that is odd, hey Wal-Mart price matches. I inform cashier Laura in Automotive section that I would like to price match Wal-Mart ten mjn up the road. Well she has to call Dept Manager Dorris. She withing seconds upon arriving tells me they don’t proce match Wal-Mart. What the heck? So I ask you price match everybody but Wal-Mart? She says yes. She then makes me wait several min as see checks system to see other Wal-Marts price then when she does, she tells me again they don’t proce match Wal-Mart. This is ridiculous for a 4 dollar discount. This is why Amazon is taking lead and the new future of shoppimg. Customer lost

I avoid Walmart at all costs, usually. Unless that cost is $ 10, I guess. Sigh. Haven’t been in a WM in years, but when I was browsing Amazon recently for a very specific Otterbox for my new phone, a Walmart ad popped up for that very case, at $ 10 less than the lowest Amazon price, with free in-store pick-up. My WM aversion was rapidly set aside, for the sum of $ 10, and a little shame. The area for site-to-store pick-ups is allll the way in the back of the store. Shipping/arrival took a little longer than I’d hoped/expected(ordered January 28, arrived today February 5) but the actual pick-up process was quick and easy enough. I won’t actually seek it out as an option in the future, but I’m not 100% averse to it either, should a significant savings/time balance fall in my favor. Of note: No stereotypical«people of Walmart» spotted in the wilds of their natural habitat. Boooo for lack of entertainment value. The store did not stink of rotting meat, as I remember from trips past. All nail polish & make-up now stored behind locked glass, with no less than 4 employees stalking the area. Interesting what their most valued commodity seems to be.

Walmart use to be known for its customer service. They had a greeter that would actually greet not just put return stickers on merchandise. Employees that were trained to care about their customer. You get a general I don’t care attitude that is epidemic. I boycot this store– its the worst.

Walmart is Walmart. Has everything you need at affordable prices(most of the time). Go in. get what you need without breaking your bank… leave. Don’t expect much. Don’t expect excellent customer service. Don’t expect high quality merchandise… and you won’t be disappointed. I just hate how the makeup aisles are locked up now. A few idiot shoplifters have to ruin it for the rest of us. Thanks a lot.

Wasn’t to impressed with the selection considering Walmart carries just about everything, but they had what I was looking for so not a biggie. What gave it 3 stars was the cop manning the entrance. Made me feel like the place wasn’t safe. Only been in one other time, but was during the morning and saw no cop, so maybe it’s just a night time precaution?

Deserves a zero star but not an option. Been too lots of Wal-Mart’s and this one is, by far, the worst managed. Unfortunately its also the one closest to my house. This store is always out of two things, very basic items and cashiers. Whoever Wal-Mart pays to stock this store and whoever Wal-Mart pays to manage it both suck at what they do. It actually takes longer to pay for a week’s worth of items than it does to travel the store filling the cart with them. And then there is the putrid smell of nasty McDonald’s grease you have to smell when you enter and leave the store. I HATE this Wal-Mart.

One of the big challenges to shopping at this store is to find the right driveway that leads in. Turn too soon, and you wind in what seems to be a seeming dead end with a Catos and A Used Appliance Outlet. Turn too late, and you get to take the roller coaster driveway off Nacogdoches up by the garden center. Whee! They’re well-stocked with dry goods merchandise – and here’s why. The staff run from you when you look like you want to buy. No, seriously. I walked in through the garden center entrance after looking at some coolers and a tent outside, and the lady who was supposed to be at the registers ran and disappeared into the bowels of the main store. A few minutes later, after browsing automotive, I was over by the gun counter, just browsing the gun case, and the older gentleman who was just behind the counter put a dress on and ran away screaming«Gun buyer! Gun buyer! Gun buyer!» Well, OK, so he really wasn’t screaming that. But the rest of it is true. Come to think of it, did I see him right outside the dress shop next door? I did find a lady in automotive that was nice enough willing to check me out after I promised her pick of progeny. But, when I discovered that one of the pairs of sunglasses I picked up was not the right price and told her that I no longer wanted them, well – there went that chance. It’s no wonder they’re well-stocked on the dry goods side. They don’t have a clue how to sell it!

Out of Shiner, and with the lame excuse that the vendor controls stock levels. Way to pass the buck.

It takes longer to check out than shop. We try to avoid it as much as possible and do our shopping at HEB. A Walmart is a Walmart is a Walmart.

This would be a great walmart if they opened more registers… It’s clean, has a good variety of products but not enough check out lanes open.

I avoid this store. Although I live close, it is easier for me mentally to drive further away. The pharmacy is great … if you are into abuse. They have the rudest staff I have dealt with on a regular basis. Last time, I decided to transfer all of my family’s prescriptions anywhere but here. Enough is enough… no one should have to work up the nerve to go get their medicine! The only department I haven’t been greatly disappointed in was the garden center.

This is an okay Wal-mart. It’s fairly clean and has a lot of merchandise. I’ve been there during the X-mas rush and didn’t wait more than 15 minutes in line(impressive IMHO!).

I like walmart! Now dont get me wronge. i DONOT purchase clothing OR jewelry from there, OR the produce in the food area. I like it because their EVERYWHERE, every city, every state. EVEN the little dinky town of LIberty Texas, which im moving to at the end of the year by the way. Convenience I dig. I get my make-up form there, and lil nik nacks, and anything random i need. So knowing the secrets to a fast check-out… i give it 4 stars…

Wal-Mart. What can I say? It’s our neccessary evil.(Please don’t tell, me for one second, you could survive with out it… I don’t have time to heed the lies)… Now, with that being said. I’m gonna let you in on a little secret ;-)(And this one goes out to Jamie B. who hates to wait in lines on Saturday Afternoon)… Jewelry Center. That’s it. That’s the secret… pretty much all you need to know, to be in the Wal-Mart«know», you know?(Of course you don’t know, so please, let me explain.) When the line gets long(and it does more often than not at this location) it’s best to take your selection to the jewelry department, as they have a register there, and they can check you out… and since no one is in the jewelry section at Wal-Mart(does anyone really wear jewelry from Wal-Mart… I hope I’m not offending anyone) you can usually be first in line… However, if this plan falls through(…see Murphy’s Law) proceed to the Electronics department, or the Garden Center to try and circumvent the mêlée at the front of the store. I hope this helps… It’s seemed to work for me on many occasion.

Why do they always have 5 registers open on a Saturday afternoon? I don’t get it.
