Denny’s

There were ants crawling all over. We opened the dessert menu and ants poured out of it. There was garbage all over the floors and the service was awful. The waiter made multiple mistakes on our order. No tip was given and I will never be back to this particular Denny’s.

This is by far the worst Dennys within a 30 mile radius. From the moment you come in the wait staff and host staff are arguing where to put you and finally you’re placed some place where it’s freezing. If you’re lucky you get one person to tend your table otherwise don’t be surprised if 4 different people come and ask you for water. It’s unfortunate that this location doesn’t have solid management in place. The food really lacks quality and consistency. I will never come here again and I only write this so that management sees there’s a problem that needs to be addressed. Just because it’s in San Bernardino doesn’t give you the right to serve a mediocre product. Please take ownership of your mistakes and do good by the people. This area has plenty of other diners nearby that I’ll go

Only reason I’m reviewing a Denny’s is because of how terrible the service is here… Why? I’ve tried multiple times here only because it’s the only one closest to my house and every time I get grumpy gills or I wanna die Reba…

Food was fine, but waitress wasn’t too helpful. Need more organization. The sausage cisadia wasn’t as great as it could have be. I know because I ordered the same thing before. So overall I give two stars.

CLOSE YOUR EYES BEFORE YOU READ THIS, SO YOU DONT GET OFFENDED. I have had the best service here for years, but Tonight I had the best experience ever. Dennys is my go to place for cheap dates and work gatherings. The waiter and the manager were the most professional workers I have ever encountered. Our food came in at a record time of 15 minutes. Our waiter had to go so we had a new waitress named Nicole and she did her job exquisitely. She did not argue at all even if she had made a mistake. Lorena the manager had great customer service. My girlfriend who eats here a lot took a bite out of my toast and she said it was toasty just like a toast is supposed to be. We left our plates licked clean unlike when we were at Ihop right before. Corporate will be hearing from me because of how great the food and customer service was.

Last night was the worst time I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The food was terrible and was matched the service. The chef, server and even manager need new training. Our group had to cancel our order. The manager seemed indifferent to our decision. Try avoiding this place at all costs.

I have had very horrible service here for years, but tonight was the worst I have ever experienced. Denny’s has always been the go to place for meetings with friends, coworker events, group activities, cheap date nights, and much more. Denny’s has been the go to place because it is so close and they are open late. Tonight both the waitress and the manager were EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. We were having a work gathering for our coworkers birthday. We were a group of 10. Our food took about 40 minutes to arrive after ordering. There were only about 3 – 4 other tables with 2 – 3 people each. There were 2 or 3 waitresses plus the manager. Drinks, such as coffee and milkshakes were brought out a minute or two before the food and at least 3 – 4 people were missing water. Our waitress, Nicole, got one of the orders wrong. She insisted that she was right and began to argue with us, saying she could show us the menu (as if that would’ve made a difference). As she walked away to get her correct order in, she couldn’t help but say one more time that she ordered this other meal. No apologies, just attitude. At this point only half of our table had their food, while the rest continued to wait. We had also been waiting for drink refills that would never come. My boyfriend, who also eats here all of the time, took a bite of sausage. It was rubbery and inedible. They burned a piece of my toast and tried to hide it under the other piece. While we continued to wait for everyone’s correct orders, the manager approached us. The manager, Lorena, asked if we were missing much. We explained we were missing many things and were not having a good experience at Denny’s. She asked what we were missing and left. Again, no apologies. Not only was she condescending and rude, but she did not seem to care at all about any of our issues. Since we all work in the food industry, we understand that the is unacceptable for both food standards and costumer service. At this point, we left our barely touched food (for the few who got it) and left to ihop in hopes to salvage what was left of this poor attempt of a birthday dinner. Corporate will be hearing from me.

Food here is awful! Always cold! Last time we ate here, the chili gave us food poisoning.

Horrible service. We were barley acknowledged when we walked in and wait 10 mins before the hostess even came back. The food was medicore at best. 15 mins before we got refills… Food just tasted weird. Will not come back to this Dennys.

Denny’s is amazing it’s not much the quality is amazing there cheeseburgers and spaghetti are the best

It’s a good place for casual meal. During the late lunch early evening it is a good place servers are very friendly and helpful. Do not like this location for breakfast the morning staff not friendly except Heydi she’s the best waitress period but lunch/​dinner its good the staff in evening are great.

What a joke took they an hour to get us drinks and then 45 mins for food that i watch them put in the microwave and try to say was fresh dont go in here if u want good food

Don’t really know where to start! I am a server and hate when I go to places that are like this… They are definatly understaffed. Came in sat for 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Waited 35 minutes for our food. Got one refill of water after asking twice. Plates never pre bussed… tables around us were dirty when we came in and were finally cleaned after an hour… I know it’s Dennys but come on! Service is a main key it’s not that hard.

For my first Denny’s meal ever, I had a great experience! Maybe because my boyfriend and I ate at 7 am on a Monday.
Our server Boyd was such an upbeat sweetheart — would have never guessed he was finishing up a graveyard shift. He made sure we had everything we needed and delivered our food in a few minutes after we ordered. We also had a nice conversation about his recent move to California. One of the nicest servers I’ve ever had, regardless of restaurant status.
I ordered the cinnamon pancake meal with the cream cheese and cinammon icing on the side, along with sausage links, eggs over easy, and hash browns. Pancakes were fluffy and slightly sweet; only needed light icing. Sausages were what you’d expect from a chain diner. My eggs were great! If my yolks are runny, I’m happy. Haha. Hashbrowns’ potatoes were thinly sliced and crispy –I personally prefer that. If you like softer potatoes, then maybe you’ll dislike this Denny’s hash browns.
My boyfriend ordered the ultimate skillet. He said it was decently seasoned, better than what he’s had at other Denny’s. His eggs looked slightly burnt.
So for my first time eating at Denny’s in almost a quarter of a century, I’m content with this location. Thanks Boyd!

This Denny’s has lousy service. I had to leave before I ordered my food, because they took too dam long. Not to mention all the homeless hanging around the place.

By far the very worst experience ever! After quickly being greeted and seated in a half empty restaurant it took 10 minutes for them to take our order. My wife asked for a turkey sandwich and after specifying she can Not eat cheese, she was served 45 minutes later a horrible sandwich With cheese!
Refills were never offered and overall experience just plain and simple horrible. Needless to say, we will never be coming back. I wish i had read the Reviews of this place first.

This Denny’s is horrible the service was very bad it took forever to get our drinks about 30 minutes then about another 20 minutes after that just to order our food! We thought they were under staff but nope they had plenty of people but they seem just to stand around! The server didn’t even ask how we want out steak cook and once the food got to us it was missing items!!! I’m sorry but this is the worst Denny in the San Bernardino highland area!!!

I’m not sure as to why they did not have Apple pie anything. Drove to get an apple pie ala mode to go. The manager stated we don’t have any apple pie anything. I was like… weird!
She stated they have not for awhile.

This Denny’s location for first time impressions, it looks undesirable, dark, and dreary. I met 2 friends of mine here for a quick bite before work. As I walked up, I was greeted by a man and his little daughter asking for money to ride the bus. I gave him a dollar. Anyway, the look of the neighborhood is much better during the day, I hope. I do not like to bad mouth places but here I am spitting negativity.
The service is good and our waiter is polite. Our nachos tasted great!
Just an additional thing I saw… way too many vagrants. The restroom got blown up. I wanted to puke.

Previous times the food was hot, and delicious. This time it was terrible! It wasn’t the hostess, it was the cook. The hamburger was completely raw in the middle. The grilled cheese sandwich was dry, and the cheese wasn’t melted. If a cook can’t cook a grilled cheese sandwich, he shouldn’t be in the kitchen! Most other guests were observed to leave large amounts of food on plates, and leaving them for the buss person.
Tip: Don’t go to this location in the morning hours!
