the food was good, i had breakfast there with a friend. now to why this review has a one star rating is that when i paid, i forgot to leave a tip. at first i thought this was a mistake because the service wasn’t bad but when i went to checkout, the total came to about 20 $. after, however my card company received a 24 $ bill for the meal. they wrote in more money than i approved and that is why i cannot recommend this place and plan another visit

Standard mom and pop’s diner reasonable prices, generous portions, friendly waitresses, busy on weekends for breakfast. Have been happy with the times we visited with service and food selections.

I ordered the Fillet of Sole dinner.(Wasn’t expecting battered fish! Didn’t say so on the menu!) The so called fish, what very little there was, was so heavily battered with hardly any fish inside! I literally had to cut through this very thick, deep fried crust, which I didn’t eat, to look for the fish. There were only a few flakes inside, Not exaggerating! The vegetable side was«canned» mixed veggies that was too awful to eat. The baked potato was good and the salad was«fair», Would have been better if the lettuce was fresh with no brown leaves or mushy tomatoes. Never again!

Cool little diner. The atmosphere is straight out of a 1950 era movie diner. Really solid service. Good old comfort food. They have a couple of solid breakfast specials. I suppose I should check out lunch here one day as I only live 3 miles away, but I’ve only been for breakfast. The portion sizes are enough to keep you full till well past your lunch time.

Jenny’s has the hustle and bustle of a diner. The theme is Route 66 Americana. Checkered floors and old license plates line every wall. There’s a cute counter by the grill. Speaking of grill… Large varied menu: Vegetarian, low calorie, grill, senior. Many choices for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had burger combos and it was more food than I could eat. Both meals were delish! Drinks: Flavored creamer is available for coffee. Carbonated water is a beverage option — but you will be charged as though you drank a soft drink.

Standard«mom and pop» diner. They have a set routine and they follow it. Will they have a successful chain of Jenny’s? Probably not, because they aren’t changing anytime soon and need to center around their customers a little more. But, hopefully they see these reviews eventually. Anyways, BREAKFAST is specialty. Always crowded on weekends, but breakfast is served 24⁄7 if you are trying to avoid a crowd. Pretty standard waitresses, my favorite is the one with the quirky socks. She’s awesome. This restaurant could be improved magnificently if they shut down one day for a deep cleaning. Other than that, they are a pretty good value for your money.

nothing spectacular. i got a fish sandwich. it was just ok. not bad. not great. the bathrooms are gruesome. overall it just seems dirty. the waitress was very nice and did a great job. there is a large selection of food items from all day breakfast to dinner entrees and even liver and onions — which I was tempted to get, but opted for the fish sandwich. my son got the chili cheese burger and the chili was really good. this was a stop on the way home from big bear, so not in my neck of the woods and i wouldn’t make a special trip to eat there.

I love this place. My first time coming here was with my uncle after he picked me up from work at 6 am and loved this place ever since. My bf and I always come here for the window specials. My bf who I met after my first time coming here also likes the breakfast burrito. I’ll keep coming for the window specials.

Solid diner. Great prices. Accommodates large groups. Breakfast is the best meal they serve. Lots of options. My kids always get the breakfast special: 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, toast and hash browns for $ 6.95. I enjoy the Cobb salad for dinner with grilled chicken and their ranch is homemade. Service is always good. Iced tea is always fresh. My husband enjoys the avocado BLT and opts for fresh fruit instead of fries. We also get their omelettes quite a bit. We eat here a lot.

The dinner menu is mediocre. I felt that is was really unhealthy and they give canned corn as a veggie side. I went for lunch today and was quite pleased. Super Bird had thick hand carved turkey, no sliced junk, in delicious thick sourdough! Steak sandwich was a good size but needed flavor. Fries and fried zucchini are good.

It’s ok. The food is ok. They do have great bacon. But I asked for my eggs hard scrambled and it still came soft. The waitresses are not very nice almost seemed like it was a bother to serve us. I know my family can be a little hard to serve but we got that attitude before we sat down. It’s not really worth going to for that kind of service and food that’s only meh.

I like this 50s style dinner. My grand parents turned me onto this place. They really like the service here. They always sit in the same place. Seems like a lot retirees go here. Their prices are fair. Better than Denny’s for sure.

I almost want to give this place two stars, because we had a good waitress. It looks and feels dirty in there. There are flies buzzing around. We would have left as soon as we walked through the door, but we were there with family. The iced tea was disgusting! It tasted like it was sitting for days. Chicken fried steak and eggs, hands down, the worst breakfast I’ve ever had,…anywhere. The taste of the steak was unidentifiable. It felt rubbery. The eggs were watery. The«gravy» is horribly under seasoned and had a plastic taste to it. The hash browns were, o… k…I guess. The temperature of everything was between room temp to warmish. Two other of my family members couldn’t finish there food due to the poor taste. No future visits for us. You’ve been warned. Enter at your own risk.

The food is typical diner food. great size portions, and great flavor. the diner itself could use a good cleaning but still a great place to eat.

I found JENNYSDINER by using the Unilocal app. I decided to try them out because they had excellent prices on their menu. I called in an placed my order. Upon arrival I found out the menu placed on Unilocal was old and prices had changed, so I paid additional money to receive my food. I explained to the waiter/manger that the menu should be updated or taken down if prices had changed. His response was a customer posted it years ago and he had no control over it. I simply stated an idea of posting the newer menu to keep the problem from happening again. Long story short, customer service was rude and not polite. I decided to post the newer menu myself to help others who may not be familiar with the area. YOURWELCOMEJENNYSDINER! Overall my meal was a 7 – 10 bacon was delicious and proportions great. However I will not return because customer service was shit.

This is a pretty cute little diner located off the main highway in Highland in a shopping center that has Asian restaurants. It’s definitely a place that not too many people would know about unless you happen to live in the area. It kind of reminds me of a truck stop in Central California I vaguely remember going to when I was a kid. The place features booths with red vinyl covers and counter seating, maybe a juke box(I can’t quite remember), and license plates adorning the walls. Service was quick and friendly and the menu’s pretty standard American fare. My step-spawn has been talking about the San Francisco burger nonstop(burger patty with cheese, chili and avocado on sourdough bread with a side of fries) so I went ahead and ordered that while my girlfriend ordered a plate of fish and chips that came with a side of green beans and her little one got a corndog and fries from the kids’ menu. Yes, they have a kids’ menu! Food quality’s good and they give you a generous amount for your money. I believe the burgers were about $ 7. The fish and chips didn’t look all that impressive, but I didn’t try them so I can’t give a fair assessment. Because it’s standard American food you can expect to be full until at least dinner. Would I come back? Sure. My step-spawn and his grandparents love coming here so I’m sure I’ll be back in the future.

What better than a hearty bfast after a early morning workout? Jenny’s is a cute decorated dinner located in the small city of of Highland and is nearby the freeway. The place really seemed like a locals joint. I ordered the Chicken fried steak breakfast that included potatoes, eggs and toast. The prices are reasonable here but I noticed the chicken fried steak was on the smaller side. The gravy was average and I was not overly impressed with my meal. The service by my waitress was solid and friendly. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return again unless it was BC of convenience.
