Just complete breakfast, was just ok for food. Had ham and eggs, order eggs over medium and received them over hard, ham was over cocked and dry, as well as hashbrowns be almost burnt. Use to be a really good place to eat but now will probably go someplace else in the future.

I enjoyed breakfast with the Gold Wing Road Riders chapter CA1M. The service was outstanding considering the amount of people we had for the breakfast gathering. The omelette and the biscuits and gravy were great!

Came here for the first time today(valentine’s day) and my wife and I were disappointed. I ordered the breaded veal with vegetables and a baked potato. Waitress comes back to the table and says they are out of veal, so I changed it to chicken fried steak. When my food arrived, the chicken fried steak was covered with a large amount of gravy and tasted mediocre, my vegetables were only green beans and looked like they just came out of a can, and my baked potato was ok I guess. My wife ordered the steak and shrimp meal with mashed potatoes with gravy and grilled onions. Waitress again comes back to our table and says they are out of the shrimp for the meal but have popcorn shrimp instead. Her meal arrives, steak is dry and missing grilled onions, mashed potato is missing the gravy, no steak sauce offered by waitress. Maybe it’s because of Valentine’s day, but this place needs to get their stuff together. Could’ve had a better dinner at IHOP. I’m giving two stars because the soup was good, and there was an older lady there that was very nice.

Pretty good place to eat. It’s a mom and pop place and you certainly know that when you walk in. You are greeted and seated right away depending on the time. I usually get the club when I come here and pepper pot soup. You can taste that everything comes from scratch. I will keep coming back here

One piece of garlic bread for $ 2.75? Are you fucking kidding me? That, my friends, is highway robbery!

Their food is exactly what a home cooked meal should be. Salads are on point that will definitely fill you up. Restaurant and drive through is a plus too.

For 22 years, I’ve driven past this establishment at least 1 time per week. For at least a decade I’ve said I’m gonna try it out. Today was the day. I’ll start out with the negative, then the positive. Negatives — took forever to seat me even though seating was plentiful. Refills also took a longtime. That’s about the only bad stuff. Positives — love the way it looks in here. Has a very mountain/Bavarian décor. There are 2 televisions to watch sports. There is also wifi. My food was on my table within 10 minutes of ordering. The soup of the day(beef basil) was tremendous! For my main course I had the Pepper Steak, the staple sandwich. I would give it a 3.5 out of 5. It’s not as amazing as a Heskas, Phillipe’s, or Saverinos. However it is way better then a Subway or a Jersey Mikes. I was in the mood for a hearty sandwich and this hit the spot. The servers were also really nice when I asked to watch the UFC fights. They switched it to them right away. I’ll be back and it won’t be 22 years. Perhaps breakfast in a week or two.

We have been eating here for years, sometimes two or three times a week. The wait staff here is fantastic and the food quality is fine. What concerns me is the last couple of months the portion’s have been decreasing. The restaurant has recently been remodeled and I suppose the owner needs to cover the costs… so what once was a large plate of food is now much smaller. I had a hamburger there recently and the hamburger patty was a thick as a slice of cheese(no joke), I have never seen anything like it. My breakfast yesterday had half the potatoes they used to put on the plate. If they need to raise prices then just do it, don’t start shorting people on the food.

Gross… I should’ve known not to come here based on the location and area. I got a Denver omelette, it was gross and I could’ve made a better omelette at home. Tastes like they just put Kraft Singles«cheese» on top and let it melt, not fresh grated cheddar.

We tried Pepper Steak for our postponed anniversary. We called in our order at thee end of a busy day. When we arrived at the drive thru we were greeted nicely. They were still working on our order so we payed and watched them all work as a team to get our order right. It was all completed quickly and politely. When we got our food home it was all still warm. My husband had the salmon with soup, veggies and baked potato. he was very pleased with his dinner and the Navy bean soup was delicious. I had the beef dip with coleslaw. It was a classic, just the way it should be. We will be back especially for more of that soup.

Nearby San Manuel Casino has some fairly good, but not great eating establishments, so I thought I would give this hole in the wall a fair shake. The service was extremely friendly and you get a ‘sweetheart’ label from the waitress. The place was a dive, but the value was pretty good. Nothing special in here or to brag home about it. It was just good basic food with friendly service. The flies here also appreciated the service as well. They are big and annoying. Because of that, I probably won’t return but it won’t be as a result of the service or the food.

You’re instantly greeted by a sincere«hello» when you walk in the place. They sit you down and start pourin’ the hot coffee or water when you say answer«yes» to their polite offering. The waitresses are the typical coffee house type who call you«hun» or «sweetheart». That’s ALWAYS a plus for me. They give you a lot of food at a decent price. I had the Polish sausage, and it was 1 ½ links of meat, with hash browns, and eggs. There was so much food, that I told them to hold up on the toast. I knew I couldn’t eat all of that food. Their hash browns are the way I like them. Crispy on the outside, but not mushy on the inside. It’s hard to find cooks who know how to really make hash browns. They have a flat screen tv on; and it had a repeat of the Dodger game. That’s a plus for this Dodger fan. The crowd is older. I get the feeling that they just came from the casino across the street for a good cup of coffee, before they ran back to blow more money on the slot machines. If you’re in Highland, then stay away from the corporate coffee shops there, and try the Pepper Steak. It’ll honestly be worth your time.

Good american diner food. Kindy pricey for the quality but you could do a lot worse too. Service can be kinda slow at times especially at first waiting to get your order taken. Omelettes are good and so are the waffles.

This gets four stars for being good at what it is, a comfort food restaurant who serves a decent meal at a good price. There isn’t anything fancy about it. But if you’re looking for friendly service and tasty food you won’t be disappointed. There is even outdoor seating and a drive up window. Not sure if I would ever use the drive up window though. It’s more of the kind of place you want to sit down and enjoy your meal.

Alma the morning waitress is amazing! surprisingly adorable restaurant, it’s very diner style and the food is good as you may suspect. My gf. Had French toast and we shared the biscuits and gravy which was quite yummy. I had the breakfast burrito, this could have fed a family of 4 it was so big. Definitely consider sharing items, food is good and could tell made to order. Will be back, new little greasy spoon!
