I continue to eat here for the good food and reasonable prices, but what holds me back from more stars and possibly returning continues to be the lack of accommodation for we who have mobility impairments in accessing the building.

A great place to enjoy for your Lenten specials. I enjoyed the lake perch and blue gill combo. But it started with a cup of clam chowder. My wife had the shrimp dinner and salad. The food was very delicious. The restaurant is separate from the bar. They offer many drink specials. Many craft beers to choose from. I truly recommend this local restaurant. Enjoy #SeñorFood

1st time here. Not sure if I’d go again. Friday evening and it was crowded. With families. Which wasn’t what I was expecting. I thought it more a bar place. We sat ourselves. Service staff was ok. The atmosphere wasn’t very welcoming. More dive-like. Not much of a menu. I only had the chicken pot pie soup, which was salty. Husband had a spicy chicken sandwich, which he said wasn’t spicy. Nothing wow about this place. Husband ordered a beer and said it tasted funny. I assume the bartender didn’t give him what he asked for. His usual beer and it didn’t taste like his usual beer. Weird. Anyhoo… yeah. It was just ok.

Great steak and seafood. The bluegill and lake perch are awesome. Bar in front can get a little noisy, but quiet in back with great service and drinks.

Nice local pub with helpful wait staff and great food. Have been here several times when in town on business. It’s nice when you can go into a smaller local place, not being a local yourself, and still feel comfortable. I would recommend the bluegill dinner.

Not sure anymore what I was expecting when I came here. Service was HORRIBLE, I mean this woman barely said two words to us, and just ordered the host around to do things for us the whole time. in front of us. Food was completely bland. There was no music on, but instead the local news on a television behind us. It was just an awkward vibe. Didn’t feel welcome. I wouldn’t even consider returning.

Used to go here with my old boss and have a steak or smoke some cigars. Really good specials and fresh food. I’d recommend in a heartbeat.

Traditions continue the excellent food and service from its predecessor Ben’s restaurant. One of the few locally own establishments where you can enjoy fresh blue gill. The soups are always homemade along with the deserts. I enjoy the fish and find their Poor Boy Steak Sandwich tasty, tender and more than enough. One of my favorites is the cheese with toasted garlic bread rounds. This reminds me of Mr. Kenny’s cheese and bread rounds. The service is always friendly and attentive. This is a great place for a business lunch or a quick dinner.

They have a chicken sandwich that is served on pretzel bread that’s absolutely the BEST chicken sandwich I have ever had. The garlic/parmesan chicken wings are also fantastic. The prices are VERY reasonable. A couple can expect to pay around $ 25-$ 35 for dinner and drinks. The dinning area is sort of small but people say it makes it «homey». I say it’s just small.
