This spot is amazing and always hits the spot. The potato salad is our favorite, we always buy extra because the small side they give is never enough, it’s just that good. The best rotisserie chicken I’ve ever had and they give you a very good amount for what you pay for… Beans, rice, potato salad, tasty salsa and tortillas

For me it’s definitely a grab and go kinda place. The area is sketchy. The prices are cheap the food is really good nice and filling great if your having people over and don’t have time to cook a meal. The chicken is flavor full and tender the salsa is always fresh. The beans, potato salad and rice are always yummy. I grab food here almost once a month.

I got the 1LB burrito and let me tell you something, it’s big and really good also for a reasonable price. The location is in the middle of ghetto San Bernardino, so take out will probably be the better idea.

This place is sketchy as hell. The building is boarded up from top to bottom. When you go inside, it looks pretty run-down. I just wanted to buy my food and leave asap. The service is decent. They just took my order and gave me the receipt. Nothing bad about that. You’re not in some fancy schmancy place, so don’t expect too much, lol. During your time here, you meet some interesting characters from the depths of San Bernardino, asking for the most random things. I didn’t mind them. It made my wait more interesting! Now for the food, their chicken isn’t half bad! It’s tender and juicy. It’s kind of the redeeming quality of this joint. Their salsa, rice, and potato salad is made alright though. On the bright side, most of their meals are under $ 10, and it fills you up! But yeah, I come here whenever my boyfriend craves for it. I wouldn’t stay here for long — just grab your food and go!

Their burritos will engulf you with rage, straight from the depths of hell. They place their ingredients inside a parachute sized tortilla. Then it’s nuked in a microwave, set to hell fire temperature. Leave it outside of its wrap to cool for ten minutes and it will still incinerate your mouth hole. Try to pick it up. You’ll notice the lava hot beans flow right through the soft tortilla onto your fingers, as the entire burrito sags around every crevice of your hand. Each sagging corner is a ticking time bomb of molten bean and cheese, on a mission to destroy the very identity of a burrito. If I wanted a burrito this terrible I’d have Hellen Keller make it instead. It would be an improvement. That being said, their chicken is probably the best fast food rotisserie chicken I’ve ever tried. The sides are good as well :)

Always great food and service!!! It’s nice to be able to call in your order for pick up so the food is hot and ready!!! My favorite is the rice!!! But the next thing I wanna try on the menu is the burrito i’ve heard nothing but good things!!! Yay for Juan pollo!

I’ve always been a fan of Juan Pollo, but this particular location looks like it needs a serious thorough scrub, the whole place just looks greasy. Not going back for sure. It’s a shame because it’s so close to my house.

Garbage… chicken tacos taste like boiled chicken thrown in a tortilla …(tasteless)… The girl in the front came out with bleach on her hands and all over her shirt…

The finest grilled chicken & chicken tacos in town. The location is straight in the heart of the hood & the building itself is kinda grimy. The beans suck, but the potato salad, rice, and chicken more than make up for the nastiness of the beans and building. The chicken tacos are buy one get one free, they are fairly large and a great value at 2 $. The potato salad is a bit pricey(about 6 $) but worth it. To me the best overall deal is the 2 chickens, 2 sides, and tortillas for 16 $. It’s fed my girlfriend & I the past 2 days. Check em out!

I am a fan of Juan Pollo, and have been for many years. I visit this particular location when I’m traveling on this side of town. this location is smaller than other Juan Pollo’s and in a somewhat decent area of town. Service was okay, other than the credit card machine running out of paper. Food was delicious, fresh and served at the right temperature. Four stars for the food; Two stars for the location.

I love their potato salad, prices on whole chickens & meals keeps going up though making it just as expensive as going to a local restaurant which is disappointing, but if its just for you or 2 people get lunch combos that’s reasonable. Also the chicken tacos are decent & good price, just sad to see the prices on family meals getting so high & whole chickens as well. :(

The chicken is definitely better the El Pollo. Not sure exactly why, but a little better flavor. 4 star The sides are always a bit disappointing, however, which brings the rating down. The location isn’t exactly deluxe. Kind of grimy.

We came here after visiting the McDonalds museum and finding out it was owned by the owner of Juan Pollo. The location is really run down and had we not just heard about him, we would have not come here. Suprisingly they have alot of business, we got half a chicken, rice beans, tortilla shells, mild and hot salsa, a quesadilla, tostada and the dessert cinnamon sugar tortillas. All this came to be $ 14 which was fair and fed the three of us. The chicken not my thing but the boys said it was ok. The rice was very sticky and bland, not great. The beans were plain pintos but fine. Everything lacked flavor, service was fine, the bathrooms disgusting! In all, the quesadilla and tostada was fine, the rest not worth mentioning or going back to. Oh well at least we learned alot about the history of San Bernadino and its fast food roots.

Let me start off by saying I love Juan Pollo and I always go whenever I’m North of temecula. I went to this one because I was visiting San Bernardino, it was terrible. The tacos had very little chicken, and the little they did have was dry. These tacos made taco bell tacos look fat. My girlfreind ate one and lost her appetite. I would recommend going to the one on E st, or any other one for that matter. Oh and the cheese smelled like feet, I think it was left out or rotten.

Used to go here alot back when they had really good specials via coupons they mailed out to everyone where you could get a couple of chickens for like $ 6. Now, I would just prefer El Pollo Loco.

I was referred here by my friend, that seems to think that El Pollo Loco is for gringos. I grew up with EPL, so I love it anyways, but I’m asian. LOL! Well anyways, I walked into Juan Pollo, and was greeted by a friendly guy behind the cash register. I saw chicken on the rotisserie, it all looked good. Smelled good too. I ordered a combo meal. With a drum stick, and thigh, with corn tortillas. rice and beans. The meal was pretty decent. But I do miss the fire roasted chicken from EPL. I do say, gotta try everything once!
