I have never been so insulted by a business. My family walks in, and no patrons were in yet, and the server handed us the menu while stating«this is Chinese food»; he wanted us to look at the menu before he would seat us. He was sooooo rude, my husband asked if we could sit down, and then he let us sit. We tried to ask if they had any recommendations for their dishes, and he tells me he doesn’t understand English. He then told us that we should go to the Chinese restaurant down the street, because their Chinese food was for Chinese people…(BTW, we are Chinese…) it was unbelievable! As a local resident I always want to give local establishments a try and keep the money local, but this was truly a slap in the face. Even if the food was great, I would never support business practices such as these. DON’T PATRONIZETHISUNFRIENDLYRACISTPLACE.

Went for some food… well the food was alright but the service was less than expected. We had the lamb skewer that a few people had recommended. It wasn’t spectacular. I tried to get some tea. Basically they brought the initial pot but never came back although we asked for tea several times. There might be other places that may be more worthwhile to go given the service, quality and price.

Uh, I think the first review must be from one of the owners if they think this is 5 stars. Came here with the wife and we ordered 6 dishes — bbq chicken hearts, lamb chops, baby cabbage, famous noodles, bbq bacon wrapped shrimp, and bbq oysters. That was the order the dishes came except for the oysters which we cancelled cause it was taking a loooonnng time to get the food. There are four chicken hearts on a skewer and 3 skewers to an order. They were pretty good tasting. Next came the lamb chops or more like ribs as the meaty parts were missing. What we got was considered a specialty dish and tasted good but spicy. However, to call them lamb chops when the meaty part was missing is a stretch. The cabbage was ok. Same too was the noodles. For bbq wrapped shrimp, it was surprisingly not crispy bacon and hard to taste as it was loaded with spices. There were 3 on a skewer and 3 skewers in an order. So overall, food tasted good. What was bad was the service. My wife had to ask a couple times for water refills before getting the glass finally filled. After getting the first couple dishes, the speed of the remaining dishes seemed to get longer and longer. We asked if they forgot the shrimp and oysters and the answer we got was there was only one cook and one stove. For some strange reason, the server brought us a plate of salted peanuts. We left them as we wanted what we ordered. They also brought us the wrong order and noticed other tables seemed to get at least one order mix up. There were lots of dirty dishes on the tables as not one of the servers took any of them back to the kitchen. They were a bit disorganized even when it came to refilling the water as one would come out with a pitcher and then a minute later, the other would come out. Overall, if you got the time, the food is ok.

New place for skewer. They do have lamb’s hot pot and it’s so delicious. Skewer takes time and it’s a good place to hangout with friends after work. They also have a lot of special dish and can’t try everything at the same time.
