Mushy food. Bad pepper steak. Just not good food. Very disappointing especially since they have lines. I thought it would be better. Didn’t give it a 1 just because it was ok service and quick.

Me and my wife eat here almost every weekend. Lady at the cashier on Saturday is very grouchy and cheap and charged me a few times for items I did not order. Otherwise food is ok, they also cut down the food portion by changing the size of the plate to a smaller one. I am also glad they now have a competition right next to their restaurant«Chipotle» which is not bad at all.

I’ve eaten here probably 15 times or so. It’s the best place in the mall to eat. Any given time, you can visit the food court and see people agree with me with their feet. Invariably I will walk through there(I commute to the city and live in the apartments across the street) and the line of customers at Panda Express will be roughly 80% of the total number of customers standing in line for food for all of the food court restaurants combined. I’m big on consistency, and this Panda is very impressive in its consistency. The food tastes the same every time. Is it the most spectacular and delicious food in the entire world? No. But it’s solid, time and time again, and you get your food quickly regardless of how many folks are in line. Thumbs up.

If I could give zero stars I would! I had lunch there yesterday with my daughter who is two. I am also a nursing mother who got severe food poisoning from here. Nothing like nursing your newborn while stuck on the toilet. I will say we went at 1pm on a weds and the line wasn’t as long as usual but the food didn’t look like it had been sitting long. I was very disappointed in my experience and angry I was so sick afterwards! Be careful eating here you have been warned!

This is not the first time I’ve eaten here. They are always pretty consistent and I enjoy the orange chicken and glad to see they added brown rice as an option. I always get half veg, half brown rice for my sides. BUTOMG… I had lunch here yesterday and havent been able to eat anything solid since! Its been over 24 hrs and I am still burping panda and dont wanna say what else for the whole evening last night… I dont think i will be going back for a long while! Anyone else have the same problem from eating here on 3⁄25? I’m curious to know!

Really not impressed with food here my food was 90% mushroom instead of steak and chicken really not impressed and I love Panda Express but this branch really killed it. I mean why call it chicken mushroom if there is 3 pieces of chicken only? I had a whole portion of my take away container full of just mushrooms.

Dude you cant go wrong with the orange chicken! It is so good & slightly spicy! Yeah, you can have better orange chicken at a real Chinese place but for fast food this place is great. They line can get a bit out of control here but they do their best to get you through quickly.

Usually there is not much to review on a fast food place at a local suburban mall. But I feel I should do one and give it a 5 star rating. Read on for the reason. I work in the same mall as the restaurant. When I didn’t bring food to work that day I would get my lunch at Panda Express. And last Thursday I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they were having a Guest Appreciation Day and offering one free two entrée meal with a purchase of a two entrée meal. The place is always busy and there is always a line at lunch and dinner time. So they really don’t have to do this promotion but they did. I was impressed. I ate part of it for lunch and I had enough left for dinner that night. It is not exactly Koi Palace of Daly City or Flower Lounge of Millbrae. But the food is more than decent and they taste good. The workers were pleasant and friendly. By giving up a little extra profit, they gained a customer, yours truly, for life.

Havent had panda express for a while but decided to since i was eating lunch with my co-worker at the tanforan mall and she was getting panda express. I had the half of fried rice and noodle with shrimp cashew and beef and broccoli. They gave so so amount of food but it can keep you full if you eat it all. The food itself taste not bad since it does a lot of flavor especially the beef broccoli and the shrimp. The staff are so so as well. They dont even give you soy sauce or napkin if you take it to go. You have to ask for it

Since when a «side» is three times bigger than an entrée. The photo attached tells it all. I have ordered a side of chow mein with an entrée of eggplants tofu. I had to look for the tofu and finally found two small pieces. Ridiculous Cold chow mein and super spicy eggplants.

It’s cheap Americanized Chinese food. What else can you expect? It’s good for what it is and fairly inexpensive. I got half fried rice, half chow mein with veggies and broccoli beef. It was getting to the bottom of the tray for the broccoli beef, so they asked if I wanted to wait for the next tray that was cooking in the kitchen. Pretty considerate of them, especially since they didn’t have to ask and really could have just scraped up what was left and handed it to me. It did take another 5 minutes or so, but it wasn’t that bad waiting for the freshly cooked up stuff. It’s a good serving of food that lasted me lunch and dinner.

CURBAPPEAL: It’s in a mall court court! SERVICE: Ok service. Lines are usually long, but they turn over quickly. FOOD: In general, Panda has the best quick service Chinese food around. I usually get veggies, orange chicken and eggplant. Consistent food all the time. They switched the fried rice to brown rice… not the same. I would pass on that. RESTROOMS: n/a VALUE: Great value. OTHER: Here’s where I have a beef broccoli… last time I went, I guess their brown rice fried rice wasnt doing too great. I saw a lady bring her plate back to the cashier to swap out the fried rice. The cashier hands it to one of the line servers, a young male, and I saw him spoon the rice back into the tray of rice for serving to other guests! In front of everyone! In his defense, the plate looks like it hasnt been touched. Not 20 seconds later, another lady brings back her rice. Cashier hands the plate to the same young male, he looks down at the plate and contemplates what to do. The plate has clearly been halfway consumed. He almost does the same thing, but instead takes the serving spoon from the fried rice and scoops the rice into the trash, then proceeds to put the spoon back into the tray of rice for service to other guests! Wow. Common sense dude… Needless to say, I didnt order fried rice. What’s funny, I’ll still keep coming here.

Not much different from any other Panda location. I’ve only ever seen ONE staff member there actually smile, but that’s usually the case at any Panda I’ve ever been to. My only complaint is that the photo on here(as of 4÷14÷12) is of the Panda at Serramonte, not Tanforan.

Service is fast! They know that they have to keep the line moving since there’s usually a long line. Their food is decent. When I can’t finish a meal with two side dishes, I usually order the panda bowl with fried rice and orange chicken as the topping. Yum! And their prices are decent, too. I don’t mind paying about $ 6 – 7 for a panda bowl, although when it’s compared to the meal with two side dishes, it’s a bit pricey since for a dollar or so more, you can get one more side dish. But on a lot of occasions, my tummy isn’t that empty so I would just get the panda bowl. I’m in line then out line in less than 4 minutes! Yay!

The big LOL! 5 stars would go to the food but this location is even lucky I’m giving them 2 stars! Beware of the skimpy servings! — The Grand

Thought Panda Express was the place to hit for your food court selection, but it seems like Tokyo Grill has beaten this place.

Though I’ve had better(even at other Panda Expresses), I can’t give this place a 1 star. It is what it is– cheap, «chinese» fast food. Location: Inside Tanforan Mall Food: Typical«Chinese» fast food with your potstickers, orange chicken, string bean chicken, mushu type pork, mushroom chicken, fried appetizers, fried rice, chow mien, etc. I happen to like the Orange chicken even though my mouth feels ridden with fat and grease afterwards(but according to their sign– they cut«fresh veggies» daily and«no msg»). Price: Cheap. Under $ 10 dollars. See tip below as well for even greater value. Tip: Take the survey that comes with your receipt and receive an extra entrée item with the purchase of 2 entrees and rice(the extras are always nice in life). Parking: Free ample parking. Best to park actually behind the mall near Target. Open the door and you are right at the food court. I do not understand why people are always trying to park in front of the mall where it’s crowded with BJ happy hour goers. Place is good for fast lunch or dinner.

Hating Panda Express is like hating love. Why do you hate love?
